Assassin vs Saber and Caster vs Archer. Nice. Really nice OST used too. Poor Caster...

Pretty good episode with action. Shirou shouldn't of let his guard down tbh when Archer is there. Poor Shirou. Rin's cryptic dream is quite something. Can't wait to see what's next. Archer was freaking awesome tbh.

Last episode didn't have that much action, but let me tell you, THIS EPISODE TOTALLY MADE UP FOR IT

I MEAN WE GOT SABER VS ASSASSIN AND ARCHER VS CASTER AT THE SAME FREAKING TIME HOW COOL IS THAT?!?!?!

Saber seems to be having a hard time against Sasaki Kojirou, especially with his blade technique thingy (Tsubame Gaeshi). Seems to be the second time Saber survived an impossible attack, the first being Gae Bolg of course.

Also, we get to see Caster's cool magic rune stuff, laser spam, but most importantly...

ARCHER AND SHIROU WERE SURPRISINGLY CUTE TOGETHER THIS EPISODE, YOU KNOW? I mean, I wasn't really expecting that at all~ Like, like seriously, they're just like tsunderes to each other~ I mean, I know I ship Archer with Rin, but those two are actually pretty hot together too in a foe yay kind of way, gah----

Why didn't Archer just stab Shirou instead of letting him crawl and talk for like 50 minutes?

And lel bullshit Assassin suddenly decides to help Saber. Asspull plot armour again.

Another Perfect Episode.

I loved how they handled the fighting (and that they did not show too much of Archer VS Assassin, but just enough)

Poor seiba got owned hard tho :3

So far this remains PERFECT adaptation.


Also the idiot talk was brilliant as expected

And also we got to see Assassin being a badass. This has gone smoothly.

Hahahahaha exactly how we wanted it!

Tsundere Shirou was perfect, Return of the swallows was perfect.

Ideal Drowning perfect.

Saber pandering.. not as perfect XD

What should I even say?

I dont know if they skipped anything necessary in the dialogues and stuff but the portrayal of the events was awesome .

Caladbolg,Saber's instinct, Tsubame Gaeshi, Idiot talk, the hill of swords that I missed because of lag, and Archer vs Assassin.

From the after credit scene I only understood that Shirou asked Saber to train him to fight.

XD ahahah, the baka conversation XDD

Looking back at what I was expecting of this episode (spoilered for size)Well, they missed one I think. But I can't complain because everything else was great.

Oh! Never mind then, they didn't miss anything!

As for the dodging, it wasn't the best but it was good enough.

Well that wasnt just dialogue so I figured it out.

Only if you were watching closely, in a quick slide you can see Shirou do his step dodge when Archer swings at him the second time to avoid any Vitals.

Kind of disappointed for the Caster vs Archer scene cos I was expecting it to be more like the PS Vita op. But the baka baka scene makes up for it. About the flashback was Archer wearing any shirt in the flashback? But I saw his red cape or whatever fluttering after they zoomed out. That scene was to fast.
Edit: Just remembered. How many clothes does Shirou have now? I think he got way more than the others now.

He was wearing the sleeveless black armor he had in Fate Hollow Ataraxia.

So basically same way as they did his Rider dodges.

Good enough for me.

One animation error I spotted.
When they show Caster injured she is missing her right arm, which lies just next to her but in the next scene where we see Archer Shirou and Caster her severed right arm is holding the wand...some meters away.

Wait for BD...

It wasnt a complaint.
I just wonder what was the first version of the scene.My guess is that the "wand and arm" part was added later (since when Caster heals the wand and arm are disappearing) but they forgot to remove the old severed arm or they didnt have the time.

DAT CALADBOLG II!!! Dat I am the bone of my sword! Dat Baka-Baka talk XD Dat cutting Shirou's back scene >.<! And Dat Archer vs Sasaki! Tbh I liked this fight the most out of the 3 (Others Archer vs Caster and Saber vs Assassin) even though it was the shortest ^^; Both are TOO BA!

Sasaki is just so damn awesome! He's the most gentlemanly Assassin ever XD
And Dat Tsubame Gaeshi and how they depicted Saber's instincts to dodge it was beautiful!

Nice seeing a glimpse of Archer's dream sleeveless :3

Holy shit amazing episode. I think this episode was better than Saber/Archer vs Berserker.

I dont remember the how the dream was in the VN but I loved how they made the change from human to CG in the anime.

Well that's just it, Watching the change animated is just.. so awesome.

Animation and Visuals make a big difference.It definitely wasnt that awesome in my head.

I wonder how much the stuff has looked into the side material since they added the overcoat after the change.It was a nice touch.

Wow. The Sasaki Kojiro in Fate Stay Night and in Vagabond are so completely different.

Other than their identity, of course :D This Sasaki Kojiro doesn't seem deaf for example. I didn't really get to see Assassin in action in the Fate Route, so seeing FSN's interpretation will feel pretty fresh for me.

I actually enjoyed the dialogue between Shirou, Archer and Caster more than the actual fighting tbh. The ideal talk was nice as usual but that "idiot" banter was hilarious.

I think they're making the foreshadowing too obvious but hey people are blind so whatever.

Lel them idiot lines. Continuing to be a near-perfect adaptation, GJ Ufo.
