| I beg to differ...there was plenty happening there. They did this quite well, particularly the bit when both of them thought the other person might be a ghost and the poke in the chest to determine that he was real. I think the shining affect around their bodies wasn't something that an onlooker would see, but was actually the way they were seeing it--their attention totally focused on the other person. I ended up reading both 52 and 53 one right after the other, which was actually a bonus as you got to see Nishimiya silently grieving and making her way to the bridge, followed by Ishida tearing out the IV and monitors and making his way to the bridge that he saw in his dream/vision. Even more powerful because he didn't know whether he had saved her or not. Next chapter damn well better start off with a long embrace and a mutual confession... |

| Great chapter. I'm extremely relieved that he isn't paralyzed or has any other apparent physical or mental injuries For the two of them to finally meet up after who knows how long, and for no actual words to be exchanged probably says something about just how amazed each of them are at their meeting. Its no surprise though honestly, considering that both of them just had dreams about each other that lead them to that bridge. Here's hoping that things will start looking up for the two of them, preferably starting next chapter. |

| I just read the hell out of this after hearing about it the other day. I couldn't stop! It's too good! The feels! I haven't been absorbed in a manga this much in years. I'm really glad I picked this up. So obviously after all that reading I wound up on chapter 53. And wow, what a meeting. After reading so much there are all kinds of things I could say but summed up it would be... relieved? Relieved that they were able to meet again and bring some light back to each other's lives. And that Ishida isn't crippled. So many emotions going around. |

| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |
