| it was decent. the beginning was a lot better (specifically the chess game). looking forward to 2nd season 6/10 |
| 4/10, my bad for expecting something decent. Put a shounen tag in advance, thank you very much. Watching week by week and being more disappointed every episode just took its toll. If only I knew there wouldn't be any surprises to how s1 developed. Yes, "everyone is happy" turn outs time and time again is just not my cup of tea. If s2 does have qualities to it besides the great visuals/backgrounds of s1 and good first episode, I'll pick it up. If Steph dies I'll watch it more than once. |

| So confused at the end this is the only anime this season I was actually looking forward to seeing. Every Wednesday without fail. It's very predictable how they always win, but it's entertaining to see how they do it. Hopefully if there is to be a second season, there will be some plot twists. If they lost once without planning, I think it'd be a whole lot more interesting to see how they get back on their feet. Anyway, 9/10 ^^ |

| Why exist so many peoples hate or desgusting NGNL? No is perfect anime ,But this is not the problem. The "false cult" who like death note, code geass (all medium) and supposedly "intelligent" animes can not accept an anime involving comedy and be smart. Can not accept the fact that Sora have gone to another world and abandoned the "reality" and so many other reasons to hate futile NGNL. I respect constructive criticism, but I think this wave of "cult review" with mere "posers" and fake anime fans who only criticize the anime and give scores below 5, this goes for all anime, these people are children or idiots trying to play the "cult" in a place where really only anime fans gather to review the same. If you do not like the anime, nothing prevents you from dropping it right? So this kind of thing is only done in bad faith, these people usually have no friends, are hikikomoris and find a character from an anime like, just criticize it because he "came out of reality. That's all. |

| Terrific final episode. Miko blushing was cute. Didnt expect them to show the characters from the next novel. Overall an insanely awesome anime. Every episode had me wanting more. Best anime this season by far, maybe im biased cause ive been waiting for this to become an anime for so long. Animation was great but im still sad that they didnt really show the most prominent aspect of Yuu Kamiya's work which are the gradient hair colours. The gradient hair colours is easily the best part of the authors illustration and its sad that its only shown on Miko. EPIC OP and a peaceful ED. Seiyuus were great. Didnt knew that Miyuki Sawashiro can do voices like Izuna. Hoping for a second season but not getting my hopes up as there arent really much materials currently to be animated. 10/10 |
| I liked the voice combo from Sakurasou. The games were quite interesting in my opinion. The visuals were very unique, which made me fell in love with in in the first episode. It was very good overall. Hoping that there will be a second season coming in the near future. |

| I am at a lost of words to describe what I feel. Anyway this anime by far is the best anime I've ever watched in 2014. Can't wait for the next season. Too bad they haven't plan for the next season but don't lose hope! |
| A great finale!!! A brilliant way to end the series and I defintely want to see more with the way how it ended. I swear Sora and Shiro, just how far do they plan out as it's just insane!!I liked the battle in this episode and the tactical strategies are really shown from both sides and more things about the fantasy world are revealed. Overall I very much enjoyed this series with a great plot, excellent sense of characters and more over so exciting. The animation and art were brilliant and the music fit very well with the games. | Finale was decent, but I feel like everyone hyped it up more than they should have. In fact, I think the finale itself fails in comparison to the rest of the season. I'll stick with this show for a second season, it deserves a solid score. |

| Hands down for NGNL, can't wait for the second season. Too bad the ending is a little bit rushed, and i love that Shrine Priestess she's hawt, great art and animation definitely one of my favorites, 2nd season please come quick ! ! ! this year will be the best year cuz "SAO" and "Akame ga Iru" will be aired soon... Overall score 8/10 |

Here is the thing why let the overall score or other people's scoring affect your own scoring decision. It should solely be based on the show alone and HOW MUCH YOU ENJOYED it. First of all there will most likely never be something so called a masterpiece. But always rate it compared to all the animes you have watched and always consider the genres. Becuase one can't compare shounen to shoujo or mind games. Always use a clean slate when voting. Just because it is repetitive to some other animes. Doesn't mean you should lower a score just because of that. Fan service? If you let fan service affect your decision you might as well never watch any anime again.
