| Ending the chapter with Mayuzumi makes me feel like he's gonna do something... not anything good for Seirin :S |

| Really hope this match will have a happy ending... meaning to say no fights no violence and all that... :/ Mayuzumi hopefully does something which will wake Akashi up from his slumber... Even though I used to dislike him but now I'm really starting to feel sorry for him ever since he got stolen by Kuroko and posterized by Kagami... Basketball wise, 2-point game with a little over 6 minutes left ! >< ouch! |

Yeah, since he had never experienced failure before this, he doesn't have the emotional fortitude to deal with it. On a subconscious level, I think he is currently playing to lose. To protect his ego, he needs to believe that he is losing as a result of lack of effort rather than a lack of ability. We all know of people who were stricken with fear of failure like that and might occasionally even had thoughts like that ourselves. Basically it's a reluctance to give our all, while preparing the excuse: "I failed because I didn't bother to try, not because I wasn't good enough." One moral of the story is that failure breeds hunger, determination and emotional & mental resilience (being able to cope with adversity). |

| This is honestly becoming a huge letdown... The way he hyped up the "Bankai" of the Zone, but immediately dismissed it by having Rakuzan starting to suck. He better have a pretty good plan in mind, otherwise all this Akashi buildup since the beginning of the story will have been for nothing. |

| Whoa, time really started to move in this chapter. The final stretch of the game should be very interesting given that Kagami's tank is running low. Akashi better get his sht together. |

| It was interesting on the first page how both personas of Akashi were arguing with each other. But I hope this match is ending soon cause it really REALLY has been dragging on for too long. |

| Damn. Akashi's two egos are talking on the first page... and it is pathetic to see Rakuzan like this... Akashi is affecting everyone around him. Looks like Mayuzumi is the only one who is not affected by the effects of Akashi... since he has the same situation of Kuroko, that he can't always do what he wants to win and always defeated... so can't wait to see this development. Hopefully this will be wrapped up in less than 5 chapters... but this match will still be dragged on I predict. |
