Your favorite character...
| 29 episodes are already out then I thought a character popularity poll would be interesting. This would allow us to discuss about our favorite characters together and have a general idea of the most popular characters. I think it is useless to say mine but... It's Miyuki Kazuya. He is badass, I love his twisted personality and how he is ironic, frank and so funny. I love the way he stay him and how he puts others and the good of the team before his own good. (although in recent Japanese chapters, I would like that he be less thickhead and don't overdoing (those who follow the spoilers of the series will now where I'm coming from) So, please say who is your favorite character and why :) |

| They're all awesome. Except Furuya. My top 3 would be Sawamura, Miyuki and Yuuki/Kuramochi (interchangeable) though. |

| Furuya reminds me of Kawanaka Junichi in One Outs.... Both are 'ace' pitchers and even look like each other. I thought Furuya would be my favorite, but he seems boring compared to the other characters, frankly. Then again, I've only watched a dozen episodes and I haven't read the manga so maybe it'll change! |

| I didn't like Eijun at first either, but his development throughout the series changed that. I like Miyuki from the beginning he's very interesting. He seems to be friendly and open to anyone but he's actually not. As for Narumiya, when I read his character page in MAL, I thought that he's going to be super annoying but I was wrong. He's very interesting! |

| Eh, Sawamura has been disappointing. It's just as sad as when Goro had his fear issues for the whole beginning of that season of Major. The yips are depressing, basically boring moments where we watch the character suffering from it, well, suffer. Mr. Fury speed pitcher doing better for now. Ultimately, it's just not as exciting for me to watch excruciating failure on the baseball field. Luckily, I have the power of skipping over Sawamura being completely useless[his fielding isn't the greatest and his batting as well other than KING OF BUNTS], but it does shorten the show. I'm sure in a few seasons when they catch up to manga, they'll be back to where Sawamura can ACTUALLY[Emphasis on ACTUALLY] pitch decently during a game. Yay for him being less useless and unimportant to the team later on! Yay for the team playing better. That is all. |

| It's impossible for me to vote for one character since I love both Chris and Furuya an insane amount >_< Then there's Sanada and the Todorokis. Zaizen seemed like a cool dude too, shame he did pretty much nothing. I wasn't a fan of Miyuki or Sawamura at all in the beginning, and had trouble understanding why people liked them so much, but they became 'ok' to me over time. Thankfully since they're main characters -3- And people only saying Sawamura is the most annoying...to me Narumiya has absolutely no redeeming points. He's one of the ultra few characters that I actually skip over/ignore in some episodes and Kaji Yuki doesn't help whatsoever |
