One of the more meaningful episode...

Adults can be very deceiving... Sadly, I know... And it is times, when kids find out about the truth, it's a rather huge shock Makes me wonder whether parents should really keep secrets from kids to protect them, and while not knowing so, us kids may say hurtful things to them.

But, if I'm a parent, I think I'd rather hide the history as well.

anyways, Ichimoku Ren didn't interfere the vital part after all... ^_^

Hmmm, I'm raising a 10 and 7 year old at the moment and I'm not their true father. However, they are my kids and I'm the only father figure for them. When it comes to the reality of the world, I try to tell them truthfully and let it have an impact. I don't know if what I say is always the correct thing to say, but I want them to know as soon as possible.

I won't always be around and I fear the worst for them. My contribution to them will be my never ending worry and my devotion = p. Sometimes, its better for kids to learn through someone they trust rather than the other way.

Uh, I think you guys have seen the wrong episode, or was it me?

Well, episode 16, for me, was a story about a geisha, a nerd girl who transformed into a beauty, and an jerk who turned rich because of a scam but loses all his money because the geisha and that nerd girl plotted against him. Turns out that the geisha just used that nerd girl and killed her. Geisha was sent to hell by the nerd girl with her last breath. Afterwards, she also died.

Was this the right episode? or I've seen a wrong one?

I'm liking Hone-Onna more and more this season. She's become my favourite of the three. Also, the flashbacks seem to imply that she, too, had been deceived by others in her lifetime.

It's nice to see how Hone-Onna was reaction on the situation, it makes it more dramatic. It makes me wonder why she's... made of.. bone? Yeah I know that people have boned but sometimes you could see her skull while she was talking etc, makes me wonder what happened with her in the past :O

Good episode, poor girl who got deceived :(

Anyone noticed the candle at the end?
I got out, I think because she's already died, so she's going straight to hell.

Damn what a great episode! I feel sorry for Ran even though she only meant good that she had to die and is now also in Hell!

Still a great episode with a great story behind it!

Whoa, what an amazing episode! Definitely my favorite in Futakomori so far <3

Really nice to see about Hone Onna's past, it seems that next episode might be focusing on Ren's past (yay!) :) I'd like to see about their pasts in a bit more detailed way... like the first season told about Ai's past.

Lame girl die a lame death.

The episode came out pretty weak, but had some nice moral teachings.

Yay! A glimpse of Hone Onna's past. I wanna see more!

Is it only me or what? But in reality, when people are about to die, people usually confess their sins and beg for their lives for real, right? Well, it seems that all of the people being hunted by Ai and the others are not normal.

Have you ever heard a death rattle before? Do you think it'll live up to its name? Or will it just be a death...hairball?

Finally I've seen Hone Onna past!
But, to be honest I supposed that it would be something like this. Anyway it was a very sad episode - Hone Onna was trying to do something, and it was... amazing how much she cared about that girl.

And the end of course douldn't be happy, I guess...

Oh, I nearly forgotten - annoying was connecting word "geisha" with that old woman. She told she was selling hero body, but geisha is, like says Wikipedia and other resources, an artist in traditional Japanese arts (singing, playing instruments and dancing). Yes, they were selling themselves but in other way - they were ONLY dancing or singing. They came from prostitution, but word geisha has different meanning.

Sorry for such long explanation but that episode suggest viewers that "geisha" means "prostitute" and that's a mistake.I don't tell that nobody here knows the difference, but it's for those who didn't know that before.

Yep. The candles at the end represent the time the one whose name is on it has until they're sent to Hell. Remember in the first season when one man who'd previously sent for Ai died, it showed a stub of a candle going out
It's not breaking in if the door is unlocked.

this was a really good episode again and it was funny when Wanyuudou was rolling over the floor when Hone Onna ran in to him XD.

Loved Onna this episode. She needed the character developement desperately. I hope we learn more about Ren's backstory. We've learned a good portion about Wanyuudo and Onna but I'm curious what Ren's past was like. (He's my favorite of Ai's subordinates ♥)

Poor girl. Send to hell right after she took her revenge.

Oh, pitiful shadow cloaked in darkness.
Thy actions cause men pain and suffering.
Thy hollow soul drowns in thy sins.
How would you like to see what death is like?

God that was such a sad yet bittersweet episode. That girl was way too kind and the old women was a bitch. I thoroughly enjoyed her torture scene.

Eh, the girl was way to naive, but she didn't deseve her end.

Such a sad episode... T_T why didn't they allow Hone-Onna to intervene? didn't Wanyuudo intervene several times before? Like when that girl was assaulted, and the time before it when he stopped the truck from falling off the cliff (which he did AFTER the target died a natural death)

That aside, I liked the coincidental Gintama references in these two last episodes.

Was afraid I watched the wrong episode, but apparently it's the right one lol. So now we're seeing the backstory of every those 3 characters. We still don't know how she died, but she was a geisha before. Also poor girl, getting deceived like that.
Come on man, where is that Noragami season 3 masterpiece. We want it, Bones!

Poor girl lived such a pure life then went to eternal hell after death.
You could hear the anger in Honne Onna's voice when the doll was released.
