| Ooh anime original first half, Tohka's mood swings are so lol. XD They skipped some good parts of the Light Novel. But seriously..with the 10 episode limit, I don't like this filler stuff. Looks like the Tohka/Origami hate still continues, volume 7 and volume 10 could change few opinions on them I guess. ^^; Glad they included the bathroom scene lol. Yoshino and Tohka should just stop watching those terribly long Soap Opera. O_o Westcott and Ellen debuted in this episode. Nice. The ED song was okay, Kurumi and Dark Tohka in it. Nice last scene Tohka holding hands with Shidou. This episode felt like volume 1 in a nutshell. Hopefully the animation improves because for some reason I find it dull, such a disappointment. :/ Can't wait for those hilarious Yamai siblings. XD |

| Good seeing all the girls again. I really hope we get a decent amount of Kurumi and Yoshino this season and hopefully these new girls coming aren't a buzzkill like Tohka. That Origami bathroom scene tho. |

| Ahh, Date A Live II, meets all the expectations. It is even stupider than ever. Protagonist is still a copy&paste of other 9999 harem protagonists. The girls are still annoying as ever, the protagonist even though he is just a copy&paste is as bad as ever, stupidity at its finest. Well at least they seem to deliver what was promised. This episode really sets the tone of the entire series, it shows idiocy, clearly portraying the genius of the writer of this crap. This is as over-hyped as ever.... Sadly this isn't even the worst this season has to offer. 3/10.... and that is me being lenient. I rated 3/10 the first season and at the time I was very positive when it came to rating anime. Date A Live season 1 was the lowest rated anime on my list for a long time. Watching this makes me feel like my brain cells are dying. But I will still continue, I will force myself to finish this one like I forced myself to finish Date A Live 1.... maybe it will get better, Let us hope, because in the end, hope is the only thing we have left. |

| Tohka annoyed me a lot this episode. I find it annoying when someone takes negative effect from just a drama. That's not how you go deredere. And here I thought, she was good in the first season That's why Origami is better, Kotori is great and Kurumi is the best. Melodramatic and generic first episode. Arlight beginning, considering it was anime original. Hope things get epic as they were in first season. And please, less Tohka. 7/10, just cuz I really liked the first season and glad to have a 2nd one. |

| YEEES, finally I can watch Date a Live again. I felt pretty bad, but after watching it I kind a fell happy. Still love this Series. How long do I have to wait for the next Episode? And i wondered the whole Time: "where the hell is Nightmare", but at the end she was back. Am I the only one with no real intro at the beginning? |
| well the quality on this one really suprised me (negatively) I kinda felt like the stuff that happened in the first episode really wasn't necessary it felt like somewhat lacking but it can't be helped I guess.. I really hope the animation gets better though because date a live's first season's animation was reallyyyyy good. Looking forward to seeing how things go from here :$ |

| Agreed with the other posters. Tohka kind of ruined the episode by being oversensitive and super jealous. It was dumb and forced and with only 10 episodes, I'm worried for this season. The quality was pretty bad too. |

| Poor poor poor Shido. It's really difficult, the life of a psychotic harem xD Is it me or that new girl - the ''magician'' one - look a lot like Reine? Anyway, glad to see back my favorite bunch of crazy girls. Tohka is still the same crazy explosive girl that get anxious about literally everything, Yoshino's the cutest loli you can imagine, Tokisaki the same sexy mysterious girl, the best imouto we could dream of and now we have to add twins! Origami is always so funny : ''So you two plans to run away?!'' ''How did you know?'' :P Being Shido must be hard. |

| I just saw that this is only going to be 10 episodes and i can only say i am disappointed by that, even more so since they just spent most of the first episode on anime original content. I get that it was pretty much a reintroduction to the series but with only 10 episodes they should not be using their time on stuff like that. The animation was also rather sloppy sometimes and was a rather big let down, after a successful first season for them i expected animation as good if not better than the first season. All i can hope for is that they up the animation in the next episodes when it actually follows the novel. I do not understand why they constricted it to 10 episodes i know exactly how much they are going to cover in this season and they will end up cutting a load of things again and rushing it just like in the first season. I thought that this season might have better pacing since it will cover 3 novels not 4 this time but with the reduced episode count i guess we are out of luck this time as well. Anyway i do hope for this to be good because even if the first season was rushed and left out things it was still a fun and entertaining watch and i hope for the same thing this season. Oh yeah Ellen and Westcott also kind of look like crap. I could of sworn that the design for Westcott was better in the previews they showed for the 2nd season after the first season ended. |

| Yeah...quality drop D: The art and animation was so nice and crisp last season. I can only hope it'll get better. I was looking forward to this so much but...I'm a bit disappointed in the first episode. The Tohka fiasco was not very fun to watch. Yes, we all know Tohka is like this but they really didn't have to dedicate an entire episode to show for her little antics. Well, at least I got a minute of Kurumi which I didn't expect so that was nice :3 |

| Tohka just being Tohka. I remember the seals on the spirits being a bit stronger than that... they seemed easily broken. Oragami being Oragami. I remember she having a bit more emotion than that, like, a bit more. Loved the ED and the overall OST. The ED seems pretty interesting seeing Shido wield a sword (which I assume is Tohka's). I like it. |
| I believe that unless you know for sure that you don't like a concept, you should keep exploring it. Whether it be characteristics of people or a genre of some sort, you never know if you don't like it until you've seen quality work corresponding to that genre. Keep exploring until you've found something you enjoy, or something of quality. Then you know what's bad, what's good, and what isn't for you. ( ･ㅂ･)و ̑̑ Everyday life. |

| Another season, another not this again for me. Somehow it fail to grab my attention every time I watch it. Maybe the writing is terrible and nothing but scene/episode to show off an character. Shido is very lame and Kotori is kinda annoying with her personality. Should have been call Date or Die because every time shido make one of them angry, it's all over. Pretty much bishoujo exist but story don't. Let's just hope it improve from now on. |
| The only thing I can say is how I would hate to be around Touka. Having to interact with someone with a brain the size of a tiny green bean must be worse that being stabbed repeatedly in hell for all eternity. Touka's breaking new limits of ignorance. Did she "returrrrd" or something since S1? And I see the rest of the cast is bland as ever. Honestly, an entire episode based on misunderstandings, and ending on a cheesy scene after only 1 episode? Not amused. 5/10 |

| The simple fact of having to stand Tobiichi Origami for 10 episodes gives me a headache. Ew. The animation felt kinda odd tho. Lol at Tohka's misunderstandings. That's what jealousy does on a girl. I'm really glad we were able to see Kurumi, God, that voice of her makes me crazy. I wish she was the main girl. Anyway, decent first episode. |
