People posted that there are 290 chapters adapted so far, so 28 chapters for 12 more episodes doesn't seem unbelievable anyway. So HxH will end in 1.5-2 cours I think. |

| It's nice to have an ending date, this should solve a lot of debates about when the series is gonna end. Anyway, that means we still have 12 episodes of the CA arc. And the Election arc is probably gonna be between 7 or 10 episodes at much (i really don't see Madhouse adapting in the "1 episode for 1 chapter" format with this arc). Yeah, i guess where gonna have HxH until September. After that, let's all join to insult Togashi and his laziness. |

| I thought Togashi was taking a break because of major wrist pains? Hasn't he had a condition with his wrists for a while? Either way, it's interesting that the next arc is so short. Someone said 10 or so episode, but I imagine they'll stretch it into 12 or 13 to fill the cour. So basically, we have 2 more cours left and we're done. |

I have certain arcs I prefer more but in my opinion, the one I really consider the most "well-written" from a technical standpoint, was the Chimera arc. It's just... a whole other level. |

| I'm definitely looking forward to The Election arc. When I read it in the manga it brought back that old HxH feel I only got from the original anime and the Hunter Exam. There is no better way to end this anime then chapter 339. Also alot of people see the Dark Continent as Togashi running out of ideas and trying to expand his world so he can write more because it came out of nowhere. |

| I'd personally say that ending the anime at Chapter 339 is the best, as it felt semi-conclusive to all the plot-lines connected to the CA arc. Plus, it felt like an actual ending. The CA arc alone was around 1/3 of the whole manga and covered a big chunk of the anime, so it's a pretty big arc to the story as a whole. Then we wait 10 years for Togashi to get off his hiatus and another 2 for enough source material to continue the anime. I can't wait for the shitstorm when the CA arc ends. It'll be fabulous. |

| i'm 99 percent sure people will still enjoy of what's left in the chimera ant arc. Not sure why anyone would think Togashi is running out of any ideas in HxH since the next Arc after Chimera is very well detailed and is very good for how short it is. If you have enjoyed the series up to this point then you don't really have anything to worry about. |
