| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Damn, another member of God's Right Seat? Acqua of the Back this time.. >(AH!! DAMN IT. WHY AM I BEING SO BOTHERED ABOUT THAT IDIOT’S PROBLEMS!? I’M GETTING ALL WORRIED AND GETTING MY BRAIN ALL AFFECTED, AND THIS MAKES ME EVEN MORE WORRIED! Maybe I should recollect my thoughts.) Pretty damn obvious that Misaka is in love with Touma now..and she realizes it in this volume. That was quite the first chapter of this volume though. Poor Touma. And damn Itsuwa is going all out against Acqua not giving a single fuck. Glad to see Kaori this volume too although I'm not surprised. Decent volume overall. Really nice to see the power of God's Right Seat as well as Itsuwa. |

| Damn Acqua of the Back was so OP that I didn't expect him to lose. I figured that maybe he would eventually retreat because of the Amakusa and Kaori working together. His overwhelming power came with a downside of course. The small weakness a Saint has ended up being a bigger threat to him due to his having the attributes of both the Divine Mother and a Saint. Which made the balance of both being disturbed that much more deadly. Highlights for me were definitely Itsuwa's first Saint Destroyer. That part was pretty epic even though it failed. She's becoming a pretty cool character. I also loved when Tatemiya rallied everyone up to strengthen their resolves after their first defeat. And Kaori finally relying on her comrades and asking them to lend her their strength was a pretty touching moment. Looks like Fiamma of the Right is up next with his Right Hand of God that creates miracles. He even fucked the Pope up with it lol. And his target is Index :O |
| I didn't expect Acqua of the back to be so op! He seemed unstoppable for the majority of the volume! Really liked the Akumasa in this volume. Tatemiya speech was awesome. I really liked the stuff with Kanzaki. Is she actually going to wear the costume? Fiamma of the right is introduced. I felt bad for the pope. Poor guy got destroyed! |

| Actually finished reading vol15 the day before yesterday, immediatly after I started this one, and was able to end in less than a day (yesterday), not as good as vol15, but still, some quite amazing scenes... My favorite scene is of course Misaka confronting Touma about his memory loss, I have been hyping this one for years ever since I found out, and Misaka didnt betray my expectations.  Guess it is normal after coming from vol15 epicness but while a big part of this volume consist of a big on-ongoing battle, I did feel that it still was a bit boring to read at some scenes, and William's behind the line originally didnt made much sense, but I see that the writer is hinting for the role Acqua will have on the uncoming English arc. Itsuwa was cute and all, worthy to have on the harem surely since her nature is so different from Misaka or Index, but that is that, I guess her cuteness doesnt portray as well on the LN, as it does on the anime (even if rushed ALOT), where at least we can see all those blushes and shyness going on. Definitly invested to learn more about Acqua now, also that Vento surprise appearence, and was Laura Stuart seeing it throught that child's eyes?? Even I got pity on the pope, Fianna needs to be put in its place, but that wont happen anytime soon. |

| Not as enjoyable as the other volumes for me, but it was still pretty good. Though, I really enjoyed how it showed how powerless Touma could be compared to the magic side, something other volumes didn't show as much. |

| After quite easy victories over Vento and Terra, the fight against Acqua felt really satisfying and he really lived up to his titles Very wholesome volume too with Kanzaki finally reconciling with her former comrades, my love for the Amakusa members seem to get bigger and bigger with each vol |
| An alright volume. Didn't really start off hot but overall, was a decent enough read, even if the whole Touma getting fucked over injured and still coming back to deal the final blow and end up at the hospital in the epilogue gimmick while before all that, having a lame comedy gimmick with him being bitten was repeated again... like so many other volumes. At least there was the bonus stuff of Kanzaki being good here and relying on her comrades for once, and Misaka after 16 fucking volumes realizing that she likes him after confronting him about his amnesia issues and him risking his life as usual as Touma escapes from the hospital looking like a zombie, but still wanting to fight. Since there's still 30+ volumes still to go and the series is nowhere done, I assume the romance aspects of the franchise go absolutely nowhere so in the long run, this scene may not matter at all, but who knows. Itsuwa too joining the whole harem proceedings as a whole. She was already having some feelings for Touma you could clearly see that, but it basically was all but confirmed in this volume given what all occurred there. They had some decent interactions early on, won't lie, even if the whole thing was all repetitive and played out. |
