| Wow, If I didn't already know about the other seasons of Slayers and that Lina is the main character in all of them, I would've probably actually thought she was a goner. |

Yes, this crossed my mind as well. I was like, "Damn! I haven't gotten this emotional and worried over characters since Sailor Moon!" and then I realized, "Hey, wait a minute..." Props to the series then for making me doubt that for a minute there. I've been kinda "blehhhhh" about Sylphiel for a while now but after this episode I kind of felt for her a little more and lol'd at her mischievous childhood behavior. |

| I also had to remind myself that Lina was the main character in the sequel series, because it did look touch and go there for a while. This series has been more than ready to kill off minor good characters, as well as some major opponents (Eris), so you get the feeling that no-one is absolutely safe. On another front it looks like the connection between Gourry and Lina is strengthening. Sylphiel is a nice girl and I wish her well, but I think the lead two are a great couple. |

| We almost lost Lina, thank the gods Sylphiel knows CPR! I got a bit anxious there. Prince Phil appeared like a friggin Deus Ex Machina without it's conflict resolving effect...and his horse can run on two legs alone if fleeing! LOL Suddenly a lesson about the magic; Ra Tilt and Lina might have been semi-conscious that time already to have felt that bump in her head. It's very convenient that Sylphiel stole and hid a very precious artifact from Sairaag shrine there, the priest and shrine maidens might still be anxious and upset about it after all these years! |

| As expected the key to defeating the big baddy is the tree. Somehow artifacts for defeating evil always come in the shape of swords though xD |
| Sylphiel knows her healing magic, what a beautiful spell. I really am starting to love her as a character. |
