This emphasis on genetic prowess is a key characteristic of super power genre, and drives the plot forward in the show. It can also be considered a military anime because the series prioritizes strategy tactics and warfare themes. While humor does exist, they are not the main focus and concealed by the more serious tone which is why it would be inappropriate to fundamentally classify this show as a comedy anime. Lastly, time travel likely bumps the adventure genre, so, it is justified to delete adventure from its categories. This anime also has enough comedy to be classified within the genre because it substantially incorporates characters getting caught in flustered expressions, laughter, and accidental intimacy, so, it qualifies as a comedy anime due to it’s mundane story-telling and that the show itself fits the description of a witchcraft comedy. |
