Man I love you guys.... I stopped watching this series after episode 5 but I don't feel like I've missed a thing. Arguments back and forth.... bitching about Shu.... All the surprises, gone in a blink [not complaining, just stating the obvious].

Who needs to watch? I have you guys.... especially that one guy that always posts a summary of the episode including screenshots of the episode with commentary. I love him!!

What... what the hell?

If Inori and Gai are taken away, this show goes down the drain.

It's going to be WAY too predictable from now on.

Shu's going to take over Gai's status as leader, and he+ the "terrorists" are going to save Inori. The. End.

Man that was boring and cliche. As usual the last minute was the best. The singing reminds me of Sheryl in Macross Frontier. Nothing here is really original.

Woah..a decent Guilty Crown episode? Gai being cool again, Inori being boring and lifless and Shu being grating..yep Eureka Seven all over again. But at least the visuals are still great (minus that QUALITY derp scene last episode..) and some focus on the Virus with Inori's song being able to release people from the virus.

Another void user (Romi Paku, is that you?) taking Inori was probably the highlight of the episode though Dan's lolpunch qualifies as note-worthy though Segai was not amused.

LOL at Shu's friends easily accepting the fact he can use Voids on them. Facepalm moment especially with the scene in the truck when he's using their voids to reach Gai and the others (like really, Souta's void is so useless..)

It seems like GC is really gonna start having an actual plot...hope it doesn't go with the cliche path(which I doubt but still, trying to be optimistic here)
woohoo...more people are dying
the part in the truck..everyone was basically unconscious when they got their voids pulled out..facepalm moment

This episode was enjoyable, main due to the dialogues between Shu and his friends. The singing was okay, however it did not explain WHAT just happened......

Actually nothing was explained, who am I kidding, I will stop trying to figure out what happened in this series from this point on...

Looks like the wars all died down, people just talk about the series by each episode huh...

So wait, this was the most of Tsugumi we've ever gotten, what now?

The new guy takes Inori's void, so it looks like he has teh same ability as Shu. huh, I guess he thought Shu was a pussy.

the war wont die down, i just think people have finally stopped watching the show

i mean it was ok to continue the show back in ep 1-10 and sitll ahte it but at this point you have no excuse to still be watching this unless you feel its improving which i guess maybe some people do, but if the war is dyeing down then thats because most people dropped

AnimeUltima has one right now streaming, and one for download. You could always be signed up with Funimation.

Go Daryl in the beginning! Let's see if this episode pulls through.

Kanto Region? Reminds me of Pokemon.

So the guy talking about Schuichiro or whatever last episode was another void user.

Eh. Episode was alright. Nothing fantastic though.

The Kanto Region is the biggest region within Japan...... It wasn't just a fictional name in Pokemon

No but she lives close enough. No seriously it's out even subbed. This is streaming as much as Fate Zero is.

Huh, I see. But we all know which anime is better.

Where exactly? I don't recall any animes dubbed RIGHT AFTER it was released when I was in China...... Perhaps Korea? Or one of Japan's islands?

Since when did I say that? I just said it reminded me of it, since thats where I hear it most, and funny thing is, don't talk like I don't know the cities of Japan when I had to learn most of them :) don't assume next time.

I did not assume, but one can strongly infer that because you related it to Kanto in POKEMON, not the actual location. I do not know of your person experiences, so there was no way for me to know what were you thinking. Good to see you know.

Looks like Gai is about to die soon, eh, she wasn't developed enough for me to care about him. and how did he establish a terriorist organization? I don't even see he's that much of a good strategist since he relied on Shu's powers to get through his missions.

W/e, Shu is getting better, but the "romance" between her and Inori is forced as rape.

i'm shocked that there are people that still hate this show but they continue to come here bash :S, or though some may agree or disagree i found this episode quite enjoyable it felt like a big whole climax *even with all the cliches they threw at us* but big deal if you cared so much about that stuff why are you watching this anyway?, Daryl is indeed batshit crazy and his father/ho had it coming even though i wasn't expecting it same with Dan he went out like a champ but i wish he didn't die :( and then after song while everything seemed normal Evil shu pops up and shit continues to hit the fan creating a huge tower.

Again, they have not dropped it because the show is quite decent(not very bad) but it's still disappointing to the people that watched it.

why do you like Inori anyways?

Huh, so we've reached the pinnacle halfway point. And it's turning into Macross as well. At least they're throwing it all in for this. This episode definitely feels like a passing of the torch from Gai to Shu. I'm wholly expecting Gai to die. It would give the show the correct development instead of LOLHarehealedhiminthenextepisode. I lol'd at them still pushing the little Daryl scenes like we're supposed to actually give a flying fuck about it. Amusing to see Yahiro doing a complete 180 and Shu still running up walls like it's nothing. GC will forever be tainted by little shit like this.

After abandoning everyone to die Shu finally decides to do the right thing. Then he continues to be worthless until the traitor friend demands he explain himself. He says he's wanting them to risk their lives because funeral parlor gave him a purpose. Not because they're trying to save the world from the asshole antibodies. His reason sounded really self-centered. Somehow they were all happy with that and went along.

Honestly, by the time Inori was singing I was hoping she would die. I'm guessing there's some hidden past that explains why she likes Shu. Her feelings feel fake, like it was just written that way to appeal to worthless males who want an idol to fall in love with them for no reason.

Instead, the only character I liked in this show got taken out. Can't stand it anymore, so dropping this before I waste any more time watching such an unlikable main character.

Let's see...

Daryl killing Daddy and his Lover, unexpected but fits with his character and what what they were building up to.

The Shu to the rescue part was pretty much what I expected. The A.V. Club supports Shu, lending him their voids to get him to Airport. Hare's Viod definitely fits her character. Expect to see Shu using it to Save Gai's Life in the next episode. Loved the tenderness that Shu showed Hare when he drew her Void.

Rolled my eyes at Tsugumi's cry: 'Shu, we need you. This is your fault for not coming with us.' Shu's having some sort of Breakdown and they don't care. Gai kicks him out of Funeral Parlour. Gai leads Funeral Parlour into a trap and it's Shu's fault. Noticed how Shu's Heroic BSOD, suddenly disappeared. Damn, they Glossed it over.

Dan Eagleman, as much of a joke he was, at least he went out protecting Haruka, dieing like a man. RIP

Haruka works with Inori to stop the spread of the Virus, broadcasting the new Song. She definitely shined during this episode. I hope that she continues to do so in coming chapters.

While Shu and Company are rushing to the Airport. Alejandro Corner is sneaking into Veda, OOPS, I mean, Chief Keido is sneaking into Funeral Parlour's HQ to find something, someone, he calls Mana. Probably, the Girl from Shu's memories. ie The Queen.

Just as Shu is reunitited with Inori. Ribbons Almark, Bushy eyebrows, appears from no where, using some sort of gateway, to snatch Inori, draw her Void and tries to kill Shu, Gai shields Shu. While I doubt that he's a Void Genome wielder, it's possible. I think that he's a counterpart to Inori, the same as her, but with a different role.

Chief Keido has everyone dancing to his tune. He's drawn out Funeral Parlour's forces into a trap. Leaving their HQ undefended, while he sneaks in to Secure/Free someone, something hidden there. Funeral Parlour is blamed for the spread of the Apocalyspe Virus. The GHQ Commander is killed and He assumes command of all GHQ Forces. Funeral Parlour is on the verge of being destroyed. Only Haruka helping Inori broadcast her song and Shu coming to the rescue, go against his plan. All though, Ribbons, Bushy Eyebrows, snatching Inori was probably on Keido's orders.

The Apocalyspe Virus reminds me of the 'Signal' from the 2005 series 'Threshold'. Anyone exposed to the 'Signal' was either killed imediately, Mutated horribly and then dieing, or transformed into to new improved Alien being with all of the Host's memories, knowledge and skills. The Signal/Infection could be spread by Sound, by Visual/Sight, through Electronic devices and eventually as an STD. Certain types of Foodstuffs were mutated and used to infect/transform unsuspecting people. What we were shown during Episodes 10 & 11, The Apocalypse Virus being braodcast to all of Tokyo, perhaps all of Japan, just reminded me of this.

I expect the next episode, Lost Christmas, to be a flashback Episode, mainly told from Gai's point of view, as Gai lays dieing/recovering from his injuries.

Well, the Endlave's gun has two barrels on it. An Anti-Tank cannon and an anti-personnel machine gun, housed above the cannon. Daryl used the machine gun to kill everyone without totaling the Control Room. We just got the viewer friendly blood splatter, not the realistic, large caliber machine gun blood splatter.

I was trying very hard to give this series the benefit of the doubt, but this episode was disappointing. The only good thing that I can say about it was that Gai died.

Not that I have anything against the Gai: I wouldn't particularly mind if any or all of the motiveless, flat props that this show calls "characters" were to kick the bucket.

If you look at Gai's injury, he was disemboweled, cut just below the ribs from left to right at a downward slant. Meaning this isn't quickly fatal wound. Painful, messy, eventually fatal, taking minutes for Gai to bleed out. Instead of across the chest, which would have slashed the Lungs and possibly the Heart, killing Gai far quicker, almost instantly if the Heart was cleaved.

The revelation of Hare's Void, those bandages, makes it very likely that her Void will be used to save Gai.

Episode 11 really renewed my interest and excitement in this show even if its a cluster fuck.lol. Looks like im going to have to come off my "coward with powers" stance and call him Shu again. Yeah things felt rush but i was very happy at what im seeing even tho some of it was......well cliche?. Daryl Yan's batshit move wasn't really needed in my book but at the same time fit what we've seen of him. Just a crazy nut. Might not mean anything at all to a lot but i love the way Dan stood up to them. Showed real guts:).

Overall: Theirs flaws into this really, it seemed so rush but at the same time i like what was presented as it was entertaining after some lackluster episodes lately imo so i can't come hard down on it. 4/5.

Was packed with more cheese then the entire state of Wisconsin. Not necessarily bad if you like that kind of thing but damn.

Overall I'd say it was so-so. Could have been a lot worse, I suppose. A lot of the action seemed manufactured to me, though. All the Voids seemed to do something different then before to make the whole thing more flashy. How it seemed to me, anyway.

Some involvement seems forced, too. If killing his brother was what it took to make Yahiro a friend he should have done it a long time ago. Yeah, not really but why Yahiro had any reason at all to help Shu is beyond me.

I liked the episode for what it was worth.

Whatever the fuck that purple thing is at the end....I don't even know what to say that but maybe it'll look like Chaos from Sonic Adventure or something.

As for Gai, if he dies, it'll be reminiscent of Kamina dying in Gurren Lagann. In a way, that would mean Shu = Simon and Gai = Kamina. Their relationship reminds of such a thing anyway so I'm interested to see what they do.

As for Inori and Mana, I'm not quite sure how I feel about the song thing. It's an interesting concept but I want to see where they go with it. And of course, another mofo has a Void Power so Shu, you're in a load of shit right now.

I have to wait two weeks, damnit. What am I gonna do? And Penguindrum just ended, argh.

As Shu sloooowly crossed the roof to Inori, my mind took a few seconds to think: "wait, this is episode 11 of 22, there is no way that we're going to get a happy ending at this point...".

Sure enough....

I also don't think that Gai is gone for good. They invested enough in hinting at a possible relationship between Arisa and him that they either have to go through with it, or give them a really good death scene with lots of emotion and she isn't on the roof yet.

And that is one really evil-looking giant purple twirly thing growing in the sky over Tokyo, how are they going to deal with that if both Gai and Inori are out of action?

FINALLY! Shu certainly took his damn time to grow a pair. Geez.

But otherwise, a great ep, one of the best yet. Good action, hell lotta suspense, and everything was just great. It was so tense throughout, I was breathless. ^^V

But yeah, we all know Gai's gonna survive. It's a given. -.-

That new guy Big-Brows looked kinda cool (minus the obvious). I wonder where he took Inori, though...

I like this show, but up until this episode, Shu's been giving me problems, so I have a few conflicted emotions about this. However, the OST...amazing. My God, I love it! It's my favourite part of this anime, and this ep had some of the best tracks! ^^=

I don't want to rant over all over again about those asspulls but for action, it was ok.

So instead, I'll just praise DAT OST!! <3

Question still remains as to who Inori really is and why her voice can cure.

Just saw the preview and here are my points:
  • Guys? Are we going to have some vampire BS according to the spoiler
WTF is up with Mana and her eyes? They are red and I saw last of it during Vampire Knight or Ookami Kakushin.

  • Can’t wait to see WTF is up there in the spoiler
could be the core of this shit ass machine that screws up all.

  • Is that Gai in the spoiler
? It looks like him but WTF are those marks on his back? Furthermore could it be Evil Shu when he was small?

  • According to the title in the spoiler
it looks to be a flashback episode that may tell us much more of Mana, Inori’s sister or original copy. Regardless it should give out much more info.
So now what may be your thoughts?

PS: Pardon the shitty ass shots. Still not able to find ripper to get any video off a site.

This show has been criticized like no show that I've seen in a long time; but i honestly can say that i found this episode to be entertaining, Shu made slight (very slight but w/e its better than nothing) improvements so maybe if Gai really does die then we will have a Simon/Kamina scenario play out.It seems like next episode we will see a flashback so we get more back story and at the same time the fact that they introduced someone with the same power while cliche i think makes the story more interesting because seeing them fight with voids with the quality of graphics that this show has is something i would want to see.

The ouma shu rollercoaster. From pansy-->to semi-non pansy-->back to pansy. Rinse and repeat.

Interesting. It involves with Shu's memory, which involves with Inori's past counterpart or something like that.

Either that, or he has a Japanese stream. He was talking about it once. Yumekichi has one as well, or something similar I think.

What?? Someone else with the same power as Shu??? And he (Paku Romi) got Inori!!
YES! Can you say:
Shu meet Evil Shu!

I was so right! I knew the counter rival will come! Well guess what? I WAS RIGHT! More later.

Where the hell did you see this!? Do you live in Japan Tsubasa?
No but she lives close enough. No seriously it's out even subbed. This is streaming as much as Fate Zero is.

Huh, I see. But we all know which anime is better.

Where exactly? I don't recall any animes dubbed RIGHT AFTER it was released when I was in China...... Perhaps Korea? Or one of Japan's islands?
*sigh*
