| This was an absolutely beautiful return to the series, it honestly felt like an HD episode from the original show! Every minute of it brought a warm nostalgic feeling to my heart, especially when Sakura and Shaoran shared their special moments together...and when your friendly neighborhood stalker Daidoji totally stole them XD Then there was also Yue's sexy voice, Sakura's trademark scream, Shaoran's gullibility and- (rambles on for another two decades)....it's honestly a great first episode for a faithful sequel, it was totally worth the long...LONG wait ^_^ So...on another note, how about that Hooded Figure actually being a more experienced Sakura from an alternate universe, who came to give young Kinomoto some more training? I mean we have Clow pin-pointing events to help convert the cards into Sakura cards so...wynaut?  |
| CCS is back and I'm so happy right now! I've been waiting and looking forward to this forever. OP is great and I prefer it over the ED though. ED was kinda bland imo |

| Finally after waiting all night and all Sunday morining, I watched (on Crunchyroll) this episode. its wierd to hear the voices in japanese (I always listen to the latin spanish dub of the characters). Basically Shaoran is back, Sakura has a new power and Tomoyo is the same as always. |

| When Sakura meets Shaoran, they insert OP 3's OST.... Aaaah, Nostalgia! Glad they let Sakamoto Maaya sing the the OP, and the ED was meh tbh. |
| I've been so hyped for this! I loved seeing everyone on screen again. I am sort of wondering if this is taking elements of the manga, put applying it to the anime's universe. I say this because we had the PV where they did the manga's ending, but here, they showed the anime's ending in regards to Sakura giving her bear away. I'm ok either way since Sakura is wonderful regardless, but it just has me curious! Super excited to see this story unfold!! x |

| I am very okay with this set up. What I'm gathering is that this robed figure has erased the power of the Sakura Cards in order to fill them up again with a power he could call his own. It looked like he was trying to steal the key from Sakura in the second dream, but she woke up before he could get it, so now he's sending his powers at her for her to seal away with the intent of taking them all for himself afterwards. Which - for the record - isn't exactly a good plan. But for Cardcaptors Sakura, it's par for the course and I'm okay with this. I wasn't sure if I was really going to stick through with watching this, but I've surprised myself with how much of the major events I remember from the original series, and this was quite enjoyable, so I'm seeing this puppy through! |

| So much nostalgia in this episode! It did a good job re-introducing the characters and setting up the story. The development of Sakura and Shaoran is something I look forward to, and also the new clear cards. I 100% thought the card was going to be windy, but to my pleasant surprise it was gale. Excited to see what this series has in store! |

| <3 Once Kero Chan's face popped up, I felt a burst of nostalgia. =) It's good to be back. Love how they incorporated parts of the first OP to the new one and they still do the same animation with the cut scenes. Things that felt new were the upgraded phones and use of e-mail. Can't wait for the next episode! My only complaint about this anime is its art style; the characters' face are more round and childish. This is no biggie though, I'm just glad it's back! |

| I wish to see more grown up Sakura, but we still got the same Sakura instead. I don't see much different between the old Sakura and the new Sakura. about the story, it looks like the cards going to evolve to the advanced level through "clearing". from Windy to Gale as for next week, it looks like from Maze to Prison/Room. |
| My childhood anime and memories came back after seeing it this again same VA, same bgm, so nostalgic I was sad when Sakura and Syaoran separated in the last movie but they are together again, so ROMANTIC all over again  Though expecting Sakura to roller blades to school but she doesn't use it anymore kinda sad, thats the Sakura I know when she go to school |

| This brought back so many memories from when I first watched the show so long ago. The show looks absolutely gorgeous, I find the modern art style quite fitting, and the girls are as cute as they've ever been. Syaoran entering the scene with Sakura meeting him was heartwarming to say the least. And Tomoyo filming their sweet embrace made me giggle. I can't wait to see all the new outfits Sakura will get and what the show will have in store from here on. Also liked the recap at the start of the show. |

| When the news came that another series of Cardcaptor was being made I couldn’t wait. I have a few questions but it might be just some continuity errors. In the first episode when Sakura remanences when Syaoran was leaving, they were both in the airpot and Syaoran gives her the bear. But in the recent OVA it was at the bus station which where she gives him the bear. I thought this was the new cannon ending from the original series. Spoilers from the movie/OVA/last series: Anyway, did anyone notice that background track of OP 3 instrumental, that was a nice touch. |

| Lord, I squealed like a little girl, after seeing the sequel to one of my most favorite anime from my childhood. I like that this show almost does not differ from the original in terms of atmosphere, cast and direction, although the voices of the characters seem more artificial, since it's been 18 years now. But I'm still glad that I can see it. |

| Eeeeeehhhhhhh I never finished the original series but if that little recap in the beginning was a basic explanation of everything that happened in the original I'M PRETTY MUCH GOOD TO GO. And it look exactly like how my nostalgia makes it appear in my head, they haven't change a bit... since 2016... which is when I watched... part of it... I'm assuming I didn't miss too much... Nope, I missed a HELL OF A LOT. Still watching this anyway though. Outro was great too. |
