| Finally found a torrent for Gasaraki that's being seeded, it's probably the most real Real Robot series from what I've heard, and it's written by the guy who wrote Infinite Ryvius. It also seems like it's got a higher budget than IR. Gonna watch it after IR. |

| Gasaraki and FLAG tend to be what gets floated around (I haven't seen either). Votoms is another, but it's very action-hero Rambo, so 'real' robot mechanically but not in the combat-portayal sense. Dougram and Vifam may be as well, but I haven't dug too deep on those. Funnily enough, these are all Takahashi shows. |

| I think I'll pick up the earlier three, Doug and Vif don't seem that appealing to me. I noticed that I had ptw'd Votoms. I've changed my mind, Gasaraki will be put on the backburner for now. Votoms or Ideon will be my next show; which one would you recommend? |
| I haven't seen Ideon yet either, so I can't say. Ideon's iconic Tomino with a big name. Votoms is a robot rampage adventure with a stoic hero who puts Inaho to shame. That said, it had some duller moment, and the final arc was kind of weird until the end. Finishing Votoms (TV) does open up all its sequels and side stories though, but those are pretty hit-or-miss. |
| I started to get that Tomino itch now, and Votoms seems like something I can watch later on. I'll just pick up Turn A Gundam :P The BD boxes have been released for quite a while, and I think I'll like this one the most of Tomino's. So much mecha, so little time. I've changed my mind about half a dozen times today. edit: The BDs are 70GB 0_0 that takes like two hours to download |

| Mononoke is an ok series, I wish all the arcs were as good as the bakeneko parts at the start and at the end. I also liked the incense arc, but besides that, I had to force myself through the other episodes. It had some legitimately scary parts, and every transformation scene was orgasmic, but I prefer the director's other Toei show, Kuuchu Buranko. |
