| Man I miss the old, happy go lucky "YA-HOO!" Black Star. Acting serious and angsty just doesn't suit him. I can't fault him for his determination though. I can relate to him a great deal especially when it comes to training and living in the here and now to become stronger. |

| The magic tools are intended to be used as some kind of machine or structure huh... I'm guessing that the brew is some kind of energy source or a core part for the machine or something... Black Star lost it in this episode, he's either momentarily clouded by his ambition to win which he got from White Star his father as he's a member of the Star clan, or that he's consumed by the madness from the kishin, or maybe a bit of both?! Although Black Star is in the wrong in this episode and Kid did stop him from going further, the fact that Kid defeated Black Star in such a humiliating way in front of their friends like that makes me pissed off. But well, I knew Kid would win especially after Sid explained how Black Star has lost his confidence. That's not C O O L... |

| Kid sure shows Black Star who's bigger. Even though Dr. Stein thought Black Star is the strongest lol. Guess there's something I still yet know about Kid's power. And Kid take responsibility for Black Star's fault, he's a good kid. |

| Black Star's string of defeats after his life-long winning streak's been dealing a huge blow to his confidence to the point of interrupting his wavelength and even making him awaken the innate insanity of his slain clan for a few seconds. Getting severely beaten up by his friend somehow made him calm down and focus on moving forward even more, thankfully. He'll go where he wants to go eventually~ |

| The episode stumbled when it came to portraying Black Star's doubts and disappointments and with next episode being the beginning of the orginal content, I question if this would lead to something meaningful with Balck Star or if it was better to skip it. The new guy was not entertaining, at all, Justin and Marie are better, why the need for another new guy. |
| BlackStar is a very difficult character for me to enjoy when he's on screen. When he's not the main focus of a scene, he's tolerable but when the story decides to hone in on his thoughts, I feel myself letting out a mental sigh |
