| I still don't like the revival, which in my opinion makes the whole battle pointless and completely lets everyone off the hook, but this is still better than the way the manga did it. At least here, we can fully see how Naruto is finally acknowledged from the villagers and how he was able to prevail....kinda |

They should be a little used to this mayhem by now. I'm less jaded watching this, than I was reading it. I think it ended well. If Pain hadn't brought back those dead people I'm sure this would've quickly become a very dark story (not like I would mind). I'm just not sure Kishimoto wanted to or could go in that direction.  |

| not only was the Jesus Nagato thing a little annoying...but then they had to put Naruto's trademark and put in flash backs, no, not just one flash back but enough to summarize original Naruto and Shippuuden within a few minutes. |

| So normally I'm actually kind of bashing Naruto, and this still was cliché and everything, and nothing actually really happened in this episode, but this was one of the best Naruto Shippuuden episodes for me... Loved the flashback with the not heard before scenes!! |

| I'm so glad that Kakashi (my favourite character in Naruto) and all the other peoples of Konoha are still alive :) At the end I liked Nagato and Konan,because they aren't so heartless as I thought ^^ The end was very beautiful and I think the next episode is boring with Iruka-sensei :O |

Kakashi was killed by Pain when Pain was in the village, therefore he was resurrected. I knew what would happen (read manga) BUT I wanted to see how they would animate it. I have to say.. the ending was pretty well done. A little bit long on flashbacks, but I thought they built it up pretty well. |

This episode was very well executed. The flashbacks/fillers and soundtrack amplified the awesomeness of Naruto's heroic return by a whole lot. This episode really brought tears to my eyes. |

| This kind of reminded me the scene when Gaara woke up in that field and the whole village came around him and he was shocked by the love they had for him. Touchy episode and all after the big win and Naruto getting closer to his dreams. Let's hope that after the filler episode about Iruka there won't be a full filler arc and they will continue with the plot. In general this arc would have been better if there wasn't so much stalling at the first episode when Pain invaded and if that Loony toons episode wasn't there. |

| Nice recollection of flashbacks plus the background music made it even more special, too bad the anime is so filler heavy and not as fluid. And why fillers now, the manga has a decent lead, enough for them to at least get to their next location (no spoilers). |

I hope Naruto will acknowledge Hinata's feelings and love her back .. and forget about Sakura .. I don't hate Sakura .. she just gets to my nerves and I want to slap her sometimes and say back off bitch .. | The ending scenes of this episode just goes to show how Naruto ultimately fails to be a truly great anime. All the great arcs were from the first series which were basically irrelevant to the overall story if you think about it (Zabuza, Chuunin exam, fighting Gaara, getting Tsunade etc.) As soon as it came to the actual story with the Akatsuki and Pain most people lost some sort of interest in Naruto and the writing definitely declined. I guess I'll judge it properly when it ends. |

| Hey great! Now everyone is alive again... really, that is just... aaaaaaaa! ...here I am trying to rationalize with Naruto!!! Sigh! ...but still, mass resuscitation?! Really?! One thing is over-the-top antics in a shounen, the other is lazy story telling, and while I came to appreciate the first with time the second is inexcusable. I stopped caring for Bleach (I still watch it mind you, even If I fast-forward most of the episodes) when Tite Kubo went this way (with people flying at their leisure and all that crap) and saddens me to think Naruto might go the same way :( That aside, no one will ever "make a move" on Naruto, they will just milk the fun/dramatic factor the situation allows all they can with the usual pre-made scenarios and when the show is about to end they will kiss and live haply ever after ¬¬ ...or maybe they just resurrect all the bad guys and go at them again for Naruto Shippuden 2. |
