| "Talk about stubbornly refusing to die." That summed up Tanjiro completely. I'm enjoying getting to know the Hashira and seeing them fight in this way. I like seeing the change in Tokito. A weight certainly was lifted after the last arc. |

| Tokito’s training certainly looked rough, those poor guys are royally fucked when it comes to fighting an actual demon lol, and that’s exactly why Tokito has to be hard on them, but it’s not only rough on the students, but Tokito as well since he’s been going out at night to get his own training in, but at least he’s got his buddy Tanjiro to lighten up his day, it’s funny how differently he treats Tanjiro to the corps members lol. And I really liked that we got another inspiring moment that Tanjiro left the other students with, yeah it’s kinda silly that instead of preparing for the coming threat they’re playing with paper airplanes but times like this are important too, loved Tokito’s reactions there. And now Tanjiro is on to the next hashira, this time it’s Mitsuri, and their first interaction together was really sweet and wholesome but I can’t help but feel her training is about to be hell lol, I’m looking forward to it. And lastly, we got a glimpse on the next big bad demon, looks like there’s more than just a few walking eyes this time lol, it looks like things could get bad at any moment. |

| This training is really good for preparation for likely super battle. Yes, these guys are nothing compared to Hashira, the Trio, and Nezuko BUT, there are radically more demon's under Michael Jackson's disposal and they will be radically more ready with this. So those "four" eyes are castle music lady's? So that's what the retired water hashira is doing, same as the start of just watching Nezuko. She may have conquered the sun, but her power (and human eating equivalent) is from sleeping. Looks like we will get demon eating shot gun boy next, wonder if older brother will [positively] interact at all |

| What a nice episode full of wholesomeness and also including really good looking action sequences. It might be my favorite episode from this season so far. I can't believe that I enjoyed so much watching the Muichiro-centered episode, heh. Even the Mist Pillar himself wasn't as annoying as in the previous story arc. His personality has really changed since he regained his lost memory. |
| Ahhh... Mmm. I'm getting increasingly frustrated with this show. Very boring episode overall, some kinda cool animated moments with Tanjiro and Tokito, plus the three Hashira fighting each other but yeesh idk. They really are just milking this show for all it's worth, I doubt this episode was comprised of all that many chapters, plus is this new Upper 12 Demon an anime only villain? I don't know. Hope not. I'm just getting this feeling of this being totally a filler arc which makes me so upset. Any momentum that there was going to be in this show is completely gone. And there's 4 more episodes left ... |

| Highlights: Muichiro's relationship w/ Tanjirou in contrast with everyone else Muichiro's smile Fodder Slayers were much more interesting than last week Upper Four reveal Sanemi & Obanai vs Muichiro Great use of cinematography throughout (Muichiro vs Slayers; other cuts) The paper airplanes scene was truly a beautiful moment and tied well within the themes of the story. Gave a feeling of brief happiness in spite of the impending war Iguro's OST and the OST during the paper airplane scene really stood out Urokodaki watching over Nezuko just like he did at the beginning of this journey |

| I don't care if it's the training arc, that doesn't mean it's interesting. It's okay to say a popular anime isn't all that good. And if you think it's because I'm an action junkie, the Swordsmith arc was also extremely mid. It seems like the story and pacing have taken a super downward trend. Entertainment District Arc was easily the highlight of Demon Slayer. Even the first season was pretty average shonen anime. The more I think about Demon Slayer the more I realize it really is just a mid tier shonen. I'm not going to stop watching because I truly believe you should watch things that are bad to understand what's good even more. I understand why it's popular but I wish people would stop using that as a reason to say it's exceptional. |

There were viewers upset that the show didn't jump straight into action, and most likely the same people later complained about Kimetsu no Yaiba being nothing but flashy fights after the build-up phase ended and the action started. I sincerely hope these are just frustrated kids who are seething over a cartoon, not adults acting like spoiled brats who who can't tolerate other people enjoying something they don't enjoy themselves. Or watching it. Or even said thing existing, lol. |
| This is how you write a bad training arc. If you had just made the Hashiras fight each other in every episode for training, it would have been 100 times better. Instead, you watch NPCs getting trained who won't be relevant for even one second in the future, getting dialogues and such. Who cares about these fodders? |

| I wasn't expecting this episode to feel more wholesome than I ever expected, but if it's done well, then I'm all for it. =) Tokito switching from his emotionless self when training the students to smiling like a kid when Tanjiro appeared was very cute. It's still feels unusual seeing him switch it up like this, but you can tell how much he's grown since the previous arc. Not only that, but it went from sword training to making paper planes, which was the wholesome part of the episode for me. Although it was a brief spar, I did enjoy Tokito going at it with Iguro and Sanemi in a 2v1 battle. It was nice to see more action scenes which ufotable performs so damn well at. Next up for Tanjiro is a visit to Mitsuri. I see the next episode having more cute and wholesome moments whenever she's around. XD |
| If it wasn't for 1.25/1.5 speed, I'd already drop this. I'm still close to. There's no trace of the first season here. Just God awful humour and half-assed filler characters. I guess they count on only die hard fans making it so far into the series and assume they can get away with making crap like this. |

| This episode especially felt like a slice-of-life spin-off to the main series. Kind of like those end-of-episode comedic shorts. I guess I'm fine with it, even if nothing of substance is happening. It's just good to check in with familiar faces and see what they've been up to, even if it's not much. But it must be really frustrating if you were breathlessly anticipating the continuation of the story (which thankfully I wasn't). |

| Tanjirou really sabotaged himself by putting that "beak" on his paper airplane D: Lots of characterization for Tokitou this episode, which I truly appreciate. This season sure is making wonders at fleshing out each Hashira. Tokitou vs. Iguro-Sanemi was short but still a very cool fight. So Mitsuri next, huh? Guess there won't be any combat next episode then? |
| This might be the most embarrassing training arc I have ever seen in my life. Every episode is 19 minutes of NPCs on screen for 1 minute of something that might be interesting. The Hashira should be training among themselves (as happened for exactly 9 seconds in this episode), and the NPCs should be off somewhere else. |
