| Good grief, that was a great cinematic premiere, with lots of great colour and passion put into it. Great transitions, direction, and music, just all of it screamed a massive amount of entertainment value and fun. The premise is not all that complex, with a guy overworked so much he became a "zombie", only to wake up to a world full of zombies, so he doesn't need to go to work anymore due to the sheer carnage around the city. I don't particularly like zombie shows usually, but this one seems so well produced that it'll be one that could be the best anime of the season. Bug Films, a new studio with staff from Studio OLM, certainly is off to a great start with this one with such movie quality. |

| My god, poor Akira. That corporate work life is hellish. I've heard about the long work hours in Japan and can't help but wonder if what was shown in the show is an accurate depiction of that life. This kid really needed a union. While I felt relieved that he no longer has to go to work, this unsettling feeling stayed with me. I think if I were in his position, I would feel exactly how he felt. The show did an excellent job conveying all the emotions Akira felt throughout his 3 years at work from his excitement at starting his dream job to slowly but surely falling into a deep depression. Not to mention, the strategic use of color was visually appealing and added to the storytelling. |
| Is the boss bald and wears a wig? touches his hair several times 1:50 touches his hair again 2:17 touches his hair for the third time 2:33 kinda brag about his hair 9:21 he looks so happy with his hair he loses his hair throught the fight (from 19:49 to 20:00) he looks bald in the middle of the fight his hair appears on t he ground at 20:09 so it must have been a wig all that time |

| Why didn't the zombie apocalypse felt real? Don't get me wrong, 1st ep was good, story was good but it all felt like the MC was having a dream for overwork stress. As the last movie he watched was zombie one and didn't get any sleep so could it be he imagining things.... Idk. |

| Despite not reading the manga (not much of a manga reader), I actually enjoyed the first episode. Wasn't expecting to be that great. Hard to believe that Ohtori (whom Akira has a crush on) is having an affair with that fat f*** boss, much to the MC's disappointment, but, still doesn't give up. After seeing his boss become a zombie and killing him was satisfying, sadly Ohtori also turned into a runner (another word for zombie). At least Akira managed to confess his feelings for her, despite already a runner, instead of killing her, he decided to leave her. Overall, the anime is really good! This maybe my favorite zombie genre anime since Highschool of the Dead, really looking forward of the anime and the episodes! ππΌ  |

| Knowing from the start zombies are coming kind of ruins the episode. Most of it I was hoping it would finally get to the point. MC is pretty annoying too. Tone is also weird. It's showing a guy being ground to death by a black company, barely walking and then the next scene he runs around flight of stairs and jumps from the top of a building just to safely land on two feet and crush some zombies underneath. So is it semi realistic or Looney Tunes physics? I'm not sure I'll give it another episode. Watching HotD again seems more appealing. |

| Very fun. I don't know if this is the kind of series that wants to bother explaining how the zombie apocalypse happened, but I don't feel it needs to personally. Enough zombie media exists for us to fill in those blanks on our own. I liked the all the colours. Rainbow zombieeees. |
| Too much censorship but I don't particularly hate it here. Interested in how the story will progress from here, all I could tell from this episode is there's no story it's all chaos( will it be fun I wonder? ). Poor mc tho, felt really bad when he learned the harsh truth about his first ever crush. Luckily, luck is on his side once again. |

| The only reason I heard of this anime is because I got it mixed up with another zombie anime: Undead Unluck. And I'm sure glad I decided to watch this anyway. Because this first episode was awesome. |
