| For the love of god finally a victory for Naofumi. Finally a moment when he can smile and be happy, and FINALLY those other 2 heros put their purses away and start standing up to the injustice this dickhead king is constantly dropping on my protagonist. I say this every week but I gotta emphasize I am STILL waiting for that whore myne to get the Steely Dan beatdown. |

The funniest part of this episode is the fact that Myne doesn't realize what she has done. Forever in those villagers eyes the Shield Hero will be the liberator and the Spear Hero the oppressor. She is actually helping Naofumi's reputation. I liked the Bow and Sword Hero at the beginning of the episode at least they have some honor to them. Spear Hero is either actually evil or too stupid to comprehend that he almost forced the biggest victims of the last wave out of their homes. Filo/Firo is very cute I can't wait to see what happens with her. This series has a lot of potential. I am very excited for what will happen in the future. yup that was the queen. And someone on a different poll was complaining we didn't get to see her yet and here she is lol |

My bet is Filo was overleveled (notice how she "evolved" immediately after the race) and Spear Hero didn't put any effort into raising his dragon. Jaz as the Trashy King about to cheat Naofumi with his pay, good thing that Sword and Bow Heroes were on his side. | Quite a bit different from what was written in the LN and manga. It does work out though Filo's growth was too fast for my tastes. I was expecting her to grow into her filolial queen form at the very end and turn into her human form at the beginning of next episode. The running animation was decent. Nothing special, but the CG didn't look too off. The episode did a good job establishing how good the shadows are at extracting information secretly. |

That said, I'm not a fan of the retarded logic the king follows for no good reason. If anything, I'm surprised Naofumi even goes there again to supposedly get a reward... the first thing I'd tell them if they invited me to a feast or situation like that is to shove it up and fuck off. Also, I can't say I'm particularly pleased with yet another cheesy duel with dirty tricks and no punishment whatsoever. I'd rather see the protagonist refuse to play clean in that situation to the point that lame lance hero gets fucked. Or to see that guy get his ass serisouly beaten somehow. It could even be the villagers for all I care. The fact that he pulled off that sort of stuff and was allowed to get away scott-free once again... oh well. |

| The episode itself wasn't bad, and I am glad they are finally starting to reduce the victimization of the Shield Hero :). I imagine we won't get any information about the queen spies, but surely there is a reason why Melty obeys them, and I guess they will reveal them in the next episodes. But really, they are turning this show, that looked so original in the first 3 eps, into an average isekai, full of cute girl and cliche...let's hope it grows on me by the passing of time :/ What pisses me off is that if they victimize the Hero too much, the show gets boring; when they make him get little acts of revenge, they are always full of cliches... let's hope that this show finds an original way of telling his story because it definitely has the possibilities to be a good show :) |

In the beginning I thought he was just easily deceived and is a good guy at heart but at this point he must realize that they again and again bully the shield hero for no reason. | This episode is more lighthearted and comedic, it shows more how Naofumi life/being treated will turn to become better. It is kinda unexpected to see Ren and Itsuki defended Naofumi that much even though they judge him guilty. Maybe just maybe they are not as stupid or blind like Motoyasu. And the Queen showed up too, looks like she is concern about what happened with Naofumi and her kingdom |
Don't worry, they'll explain that at a later time. Just need to be patient. | Again, I respect the sword hero's and the archer hero's honesty. At least Naofumi gets 500 silvers. I like this episode with its relaxing adventurous vibe. A mount race is just another fun thing to do when adventuring. But in this case, it's more fun especially seeing how no matter what Motoyasu, his bitch and the knights tried, they can't make Naofumi lose the race. Seeing their reactions, especially the bitch and seeing Firo kick Motoyasu's balls are all fun and quite satisfying. The ninja special units working for that queen at least are completely neutral and honest about the race. I wonder if they will team up or aid Naofumi's party in the future... Well, well, well, another member has joined the party! And again this time, it's a really cute half human-half animal loli! THIS IS EVEN BETTER THAN A DRAGON!!! Firo will be a great asset to the party, well obviously... |
