| After all the shit the douchbag prince did and is planning on doing, I constantly wondered why Itami didn't just shoot the fucker and be done with all of this. But the more I thought about it, more plausible reasons came to light. Their primary mission was to rescue the princess and the emperor, and get everyone out without a single casualty. Had they killed the prince (which they would have if absolutely necessary), then one of two things might have happened: The capital loses moral, and the soldiers start to resort to violence and chaos in the streets with no leader. And the second: the soldiers and the prince's supporters get angry, and they end up with a more difficult time not only getting out on one piece, but also peace negotiations become harder with the capital's civilians seeing the "green men" as not saviors or allies, but mere assassins--thus the prince essentially becomes a martyr. In the end, I think they did the right thing. They achieved their goal of rescuing everyone and not a single person was hurt. And as explained in the episode, by rescuing the emperor with Pina, they can expose the prince to be the real traitor that he is and dethrone him at the same time. When the capital's citizens see the prince's tyranny, they won't be so keen on keeping him around as their leader when the JSDF come back knocking. Kind of weird to see all the couple hooking up near the end there. Whelp. Now that the 2nd part is over, I can only hope they'll renew it for a 3rd season. |

| This can't be...why does it had to end like this. What happen to the Empire getting their ass handed to them? The stupid prince just run off and Pina become new ruler? Haaa, anyway, Itami's group got girls lol. Poor Itami...miss his once in a year chance again lol. 9/10, hope there is an OVA or something to tell how it really ends. P.S. Time to go read the novel. |

| Rory reminds me of a female!Hisoka, if you've ever watched Hunter x Hunter (2011). I was expecting one last bad ~thing~ to happen like most anime do at the climax but everyone got a happy end for now! And I was glad to see glasses dude alive. I've been asking about him every episode but I'm honestly surprised about that pairing, though not so much the others! "We're going to the follow the law, okay?" I hope a season 3 is confirmed. |

| Poor Itami still gets denied from his beloved doujinshi! XD Still, it has been a great ride once more from Itami and co. It was great that they were able to Rescue Pina and the Emporer from the palace without any hiccups at all. It was amusing that they showed the loved up couples near the end, with some progress already made for one particular couple. =D 8/10 once again, and Rory still remains the best girl in the series! |

| I dunno if I even care if they add a new season, I had a feeling they were gonna pull some shit lie this. The episode was good but the split ends are frustrating. Also did they ever explain what the deal was with that Japanese killer the other bunygirl was trying to kill was? Maybe they explained it but I don't really remember. |
I'm a follower of skywood xD Already read most of the stuff they translated. Altina, Overlord, Konosuba, Gate, Knights and Magic, Youjo. December every day a new chapter for Gate was amazing, but I really want to read the rest ASAP T-T ( I need my Rory fix ) Long live Fanfic :P |

| Nice ending. Especially liked the display of ships there at the end, and how Itami is still completely oblivious to the fact that he is actually living his hobby. Overall though, I found this season much less refreshing and as much less thriliing than season one: 7/10. Nah, he'll have to stick with one of the girls from beyond the gate once it closes again (because that's bound to happen); either Rory, so she has someone to spend the short remainder of her long lifespan with, or Pina, so Itami still has someone to share his interest in doujinshi in and becomes Emperor consort. |

| And it all ended happily. After following this series from the beginning, the story is interesting, though in this second season Itami role and the three girls were not too many to steal attention because they rarely appear. Additionally, it will be better if we known the fate of Zolzal and Tyuule, and Japanese spy who join the Zolzal group, so eventually the story more clearly. Maybe there will be a third season for civil war resolution and mystery behind why Noriko can entered the gate before the big gate opened? |

Just curious. |

| Seems like there are still some loose ends. I hope to see another season or something to wrap it up nicely. But this final episode, oh my Rory <3. I'm really going to miss this show. Really enjoyed it. That ending when they announced being a couple, and even one pregnant at that, was really funny and nice XD. And they used the first season's OP as the ED in this final! Enjoyed and loved it as much as the first season. 9/10. |

| shit with all these parings i was thinking this was done by sunrise bozes event got a baby damn! even with seeing all the hints i still was hoping the Knights were living the Yuri dream :P but this is okay. was a fun ride second cour really picked up with the action /politics for a really enjoyable season gonna miss this show and Rory will say im glad i wont hear Tuka saying dad anymore. 8/10 would of liked a hint a Season 3 since theirs a civil war about to happen but this felt like a ending ending. |

| ...wait a minute. I thought that brown bunny girl was dead. I mean the SDF guy used a whole clip of bullets on her. She should be in the hospital at the very least. On a side note, Lelei is pretty powerful. She probably didn't even need Rory's help to deal with that Ogre. It didn't even look like an ogre to be honest more like some kind of red demon. I'm a bit sad that neither Zolzal nor Tyuule got what they deserved. We'll never know what happens to them now unless there is a season 3 or maybe an movie/ova. Also, it's a bit sad that Itami never changes. I'd like to think he values his friendship with the three girls more but nope, his hobbies are more important from start to finish. |
| Great episode! That fight with the Ogre was straight awesome! WHat a tag team of Lelei and Rory <33 Itami is a straight G as well. Great ending, Tyuule and Zolzal can go somewhere and make Bunny babies and enslave them. Itami finally made it to the Doujinshi event...only to be interrupted by those three hotties lol. THOSE SHIPS THOUGH!  I mentioned last week I was on board with this ship and it came through!!!! |

| Was very rushed from the Dragon arc on. Got away from what made Gate really good. Itami and the girls. They skipped a lot just to half finish an arc. They rescued the princess and she's been put in line for the thrown by her emperor. That's all well and good. But it just kind of fizzled for me. still good overall. I'm pretty sure this is the end. You're going to have to follow the Manga to see what happens from now on. I doubt they'll make more. It wasn't a huge hit in disc sales. |
