| I don't understand why they don't bring Asia with them. I mean come on, you're going to battle a God that is a threat to the underworld and you don't bring your healer? What kind of people go to a battle without healer? Even most games need at least one healer in every battle. Koneko's character development seems to be rushed. She already takes a liking to Issei only from one event with Kuroka. In season 1 she keeps on complaining on how Issei is perverted, yet the event with Kuroka changed that, Issei even touched Rias' nipples in front of Koneko. Shouldn't she act more different than she should be now? |

| well they changed quite a bit from the LN..not complaining really except for maybe the pacing issues.Looks like they are going to cover 3 volumes in 12 episodes |

| Pretty good episode on the whole. As long as plot events aren't voided, just reshuffled, I'm ok. Glad to see in the episode preview we touch on Akeno a bit more, this episode seemingly resolved her issues before we could really touch on them. LN spoiler- |

| I'm finding it really difficult to enjoy this season of DxD. It was a bad idea to reshuffle so much content from future volumes into Volume 5. I'm worried about the continuity of the story going forwards as I feel that the reshuffle has opened up a whole lot of potential plotholes which the original LN never had. In addition, the amount of rushed "character development" is really getting to me. In one episode we've had multiple reveals of skills/abilities/powerups which were done much more gracefully in the LNs. I'm worried that they've literally taken out a lot of the fun surprises from future episodes. Though I understand they're trying to fit 3 LN volumes into a single 12-13 episode anime season, I'm feeling completely overloaded by what's going on. That said, hopefully everything goes smoothly and all my worries are proven wrong with the rest of the season. |

| A pretty good episode this time around. Almost every char from the anime is fighting vs Loki. Also these were some nasty strings from the other pervy guy(Sona's pawn, forgot his name). Also Issei's "death" was totally unexpected for me it was kinda well done and oh my the rage of the harem incoming the next episode all at Loki. Behold! Also that cliffhanger Q_Q. Gotta wait till next week |

In the novel this battle required assistence from Tannin, Azazel, Baraqiel and the Vali team. Although the latter is showing up next episode it still is a big downplay on Loki's and Fenrir's strenght. What's next? Vali, Issei bitchslapping the Great Red? That's my problem. I'm fine with them rearranging events but I hate it when there's no need to. I don't remember Issei getting nearly killed like that or Rias going all super saiyan. I also didn't like how Akeno accepted her power because that ruins the scene that happened rating game. Next weeks fight is going to be extremely rushed. It doesn't help that they made Loki and Fenrir look like fodder even though his fangs can kill a god. |

| Okay, I'm really digging Issei's Wing's. I am beyond loving this season so far, kinda glad they are mixing up event's to be more enjoyable for the anime viewers. Also that damn ending, going super saiyan 4 on us then just cutting away..AHHHHH Im still hoping that Funimation can add the dub soon REAL SOON as I love DXD Dubbed more then the subbed. |

| What a kickass episode I'd have to say. Rosseweisse is so hot I can't even. Loki is pretty scary with his Ragnarok stuff. . . Glad to see Koneko embrace her powers same goes for Akeno. But the Issei x Rias moment gave me goosebumps, ya. Rias is so pissed. |

But if he died, with the Phoenix Tears, I'd guess you can bring someone back to life if it hasn't been too long that he's dead. Loki is pretty darn stupid. | Not sure how to feel about the re-arrangement of events. Sure we get some nice action thrown to us earlier but the development of the characters prior to the action is reduced or worse, essentially gone. I have nothing against the power-ups (Angel Irina, Nekomata Koneko, Half-Fallen Angel Akeno) but it just felt too sudden. In the LN, there was significant build-up and development that leads to those power-ups. I also don't like how they made Loki weaker. Iirc, Issei's team, Vali's team, and other big shots had to cooperate to at least put up a fight against Fenrir. Here, they're not even struggling with just the ten of them. But eh, Ishibumi-sensei's decision. I'll just see how the story comes around and how the timeline works out. |
