| I find Fuyumi to be really annoying, but I like Staz's personality, so I'm not really sure if I'm enjoying this or not. I wish Bell would've been the main girl, she has way more personality. I thought the shop part was funny though. |

| Could they pick a more lackluster female lead for the show? Or is her appeal supposed to be that she's so damn boring? Anyway, love Staz and the other demons, it was fun for the most part. |

And yes, she is a shy, docile girl, nothing wrong with having a female lead like that, she still has a distinct personality. It's not like she's Heroine from Amnesia. But, you aren't considering her situation. She, a human, unknowingly and unwillingly ended up in this demon world where she was basically kidnapped by demon gangsters. Then she gets killed within the hour and has to deal with the fact that she's now a demon that can't live in her own world anymore. You can't expect her to be fucking Hajime from Gatchaman about it. Korangi said: then stop comparing them lolCan't be compared to Hataraku Maou-sama!, Blood Lad is funnier. And Hataraku Maou-sama! only made me laugh on the first episodes, the rest was enjoyable to watch but not that funny. Lets see if this one is better, i think it is but we only have 2 episodes so far. |

| Well, while this one wasn't as funny as the first episode, it actually had some serious and plot driven moments, which I was not expecting. First off, I'm with Staz. I hate Bell. She is really quite annoying. Fuyumi got a little annoying sad chick for a little bit, but she came back. Staz is still my favorite character. I love how excited he was in the beginning, and later how serious he could get. I like his many powers that are based on that of classical vampires, though he looks as if he has none of the weaknesses. He actually dilutes his mind-controlling saliva into a spray and his hypnotizing stare is so powerful it can stop monsters in their tracks. His blood of course has quite a zing to it and packs a punch. Once again though, Bell was the real weak link here, though she seems to have the key to finding out how to make Fuyumi normal. Though I hope his can somehow draw back on his desire to suck her dry until she becomes a mummy! LOL :D Not as good as last week, but still a good episode. I give this a 7.8/10. |

| As much as I enjoy the series, I don't like how Bell just happened to have a "Book on Resurrecting Humans". Now that's too much of a coincidence (unless explained later, which I don't think was to where I stopped reading). |

| It's kind of a shame that this will only be 10 episodes cause it's about the only show this season where I actually find the comedy pretty amusing. It reminds me of Gintama in that there's examples of visual, physical and spoken comedy that rarely lets up the pace. Since people insist on it too I might as well make my own Maou-Sama comparison. I find the first couple of episodes on average slightly funnier, but Maou-Sama had the more interesting characters. |

Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

How is that an asspull? His demon blood has strong demon magic, and she is a demon. He's a high level demon that can go into the human world and be fine because of his magic. Since she's a low level demon, she needs something to sustain her, the magic in Staz's blood can do that. |

I think a lot of it is the lack of focus on awesome facial expressions like the manga, they seem more intent on making crazy backround animations to fit the scene. But I remember not really getting into the humor of it early on in the manga. I guess later on I got the hang of what they're trying to do, but now that it's being animated we're somewhat going through the process again. livingdeadkat said: Yeah. Please do keep in mind it doesn't try to be totally comedy driven, there are much more aspects of it that are worth sticking around for. Though if the style of humor just isn't your cup of tea I suppose that can't be helped. I just really hope people aren't making early decisions on it judging it as a pure comedy, this is how the constant comparisons to Maou-Sama can create a harmful effect on people's perception of the show. People might expect it to be as funny or as comedy driven, but it isn't going to be. At least not the same kinda funny, since its style of humor is different. |
