| This anime has had me quite impressed so far. The only thing that bugs me, is how Asia has been in the opening theme all this time. I wish they came up with something for the first 5 episodes to not spoil that she becomes one of them. Now the question is, will she get her powers back? Will she become Issei's slave? | How could Asia ( a priest) heal a demon?? In the last eps they said its impossible. Issei even was in pain just from being close when she was healing that boy in the park Another girl that doesn't have any friends despite being cute, nice and gentle...ehhh those harem monopolists:P The ceremony was a little disappointing i thought they will make a fallen angel out of her or something........ Yes i agree that MC Gear looks out of place. Its to SF- reminds me more of a Mecha anime. | Personally, I find it cool because the real life Asia Argento is the daughter to legendary Italian horror director Dario Argento. Also, I hear the author actually named the character after her as reference ;) |
| Even when he quit being a horror Novel writer, he will still use something related to horror to show that he has a bit of horror spirit . |
| He must be a fan of Dario Argento and his works since he named one of his characters after the director's daughter. Argento is one of my top favorite directors and to see something related to him referenced in an anime I'm enjoying so far makes it really awesome >:D |

| That really was a great episode. Though, I wish there were more context to the show. 24 episodes would be awesome and I wouldn't mind seeing more highschool perverted antics from his friends that he seemingly abandoned. Just because you're now a devil doesn't mean you can uproot your previous life and toss out your responsibilities. But still, that was a really good episode. I almost wish I didn't watch it and saved it for next week so I could have watched two episodes back to back, but yeah this series is just too good. |

She's in danger, of course Issei would make a big deal out of it. He doesn't know what will happen to her, and I don't think he knows (and neither do I) how demons are actually made. I mean, having her sacred gear extracted might mean perma-death. Issei's deaths were all flesh wounds. Then again, everyone has been going on that she will become a demon, which I believe as well, but it also seems that no one here has read the LN, so no one knows exactly what will happen to Asia. The manga scans are also up to the same point as the anime storywise so that doesn't help. Anticipation! |

It's not really hi-tech at all. It's based upon ancient history between the angels & demons which should be revealed later down the road. |

| His Sacred gear is made like that just because it gives him infinite powa (will power connected to a weapon in an anime... already seen) so like the big 3, he will get beaten up in the beginning of every fight and eventually win (after a lot of screaming and some "trying to sound like a badass" speech) with his uber super cool weapon |

| Actually there was a scene where the ATX version had blurried nipples. At least according to Hiryuu, it's supposed to be AT-X. At first I was a bit scarred because of the censoring, but a moment later, real nipples. So it wasn't such a big deal. We'll get the BD soon for that second of blurry nipples. The episode was a bit rushed and the whole date didn't have much emotion like in the novel. But they still covered the important parts of the date, so it's good. So far, it's following the novel closely with skipping some of the info dump moments, like in the previous with the chess pieces. It was kinda random how she started talking about that without build up. But it's still covered enough to understand the important things beside boobs. As of the MC, it's not the first time people hate the MC for not being Naruto or Ichigo. People do the same with Mirai Nikki's Yukiteru, but for some reasons they don't hate EVA's Shinji because hurr durr that's more realistic than Mirai Nikki, even tho Yukiteru actually turns into a badass unlike Shinji who only turns into a badass in Super Robot Wars. Realistic characters in non-500episode anime are underrated. They always have to be Revy or Golgo 13. Besides, some people don't even give time for characters to develop. Issei's potential will be fully explained in the next episode. And so will the system about turning people into devils. Hope they don't rush that part too. Judging the pacing and coverage of the novels, I'd say they'll adapt the first two novels (no shit Sherlock) and leave it open for some souls to believe that there'll be a second season, like they do with most of them lol. |

| Even I already read the novel the end of this episode almost made me cry... It was too sad. Though I wish they have expounded the date scene more. Hahaha, LOL at literally pawning the pawn. |
| Hahaha! Probably no one noticed but at 19:30 that crazy priest(btw he kind of reminds me of Accelerator) get a furniture in the face by our "rook girl" and makes a fine female "itai" voice. I put it on reply a few times and laughed my ass out. The guy is such a creep but is fun watching him. Anyway the plot thickens. It's good that they give us such a plot so we won't get bored in our fan-service enjoyment. So will they make the blond girl a demon too so she won't die? That seems to be a nice way to introduce her into the team. Btw i know she's the big bad guy/girl of the series until now but boy she and that outfit of hers look so hot from so many angles.. that just makes me want to be embraced like that too. Didn't really notice it while watching on the TV, but when I watched it on the PC to enjoy it once more, the whole picture was crappy. It looked like it was an upscaled 240p video. Are Hiryuu and SubDESU using the same RAWs? If not, what's SubDESU's subs like? Don't wanna watch Hadena's subs. |

If you are searching for a different subber then you are in bad luck since Hiryuu are the best for this show. Anyway there is a good chance they will make the Blu-Rays since Hiryuu does Blu-Rays of most of the shows they translate so you can get all the quality you want from there. |
