| Judging by the last ep and the preview apparently there wont be any increased animation for the battle. bummer :'( Still a great Episode, though the Rasenshuriken looks a little smaller than i remember it. |

| Man! I haven't seen better episode in recent time! It was awesome just now, but unfortunately it was too shortened! I don't know what that people think?! They even don't know when to start the episode and when to end it! Amateurs! But....that episode was really something! I like, i mean I love Naruto's look but now he looks beutiful!!!! And those fast moves, that power! He is like a complete new Konoha's samurai! Now, nobody will ever call him a weakling! And those toads are my heroes xD Man, I want one toad too! I was crying and jumping at the same time at the end of the episode 162 when those toads and Naruto appeared. Really fantastic battle, but too short episode, it ruined the feeling! I'm so sad because of the Kakashi and Lady Tsunade, and that part when Granny saw Jiraiya and Minato in Naruto from behind, well that was heart-breaking scene. I couldn't stop the tears. Really, these episodes are something. People, I don't want to disappoint u, but, I went through the Shippuden episode list and saw the ongoing episodes, and i was so furious and angry and guess why, the name of the episode 165 is "Nine-Tails Capture Complete". I really don't know what is that about but it's better for them that it isn't something unexpectable and sudden, or else..... Grrrrrrrr! |

Those are some brutal ninja toads! I guess I can't be more impressed than I was with the manga, but I still thought they played it out well enough. Just wish they didn't have to do so much staring. |

| Ok, so even more retarded than we thought, Naruto's now one-hitting pain bodies when fighting 6 of em whereas Kakashi supposedly died from fighting just the one... BUT, can't deny it's pretty epic atm, just sitting back and watching without thinking :p specially frogs kicking ass. |

The first 5 or so minutes were lacking, and choppy in pace, but after that there was a good amount of time on building tension, contrasting a maturity in Naruto's character, and then action. So to that end, I'll say this was a well-structured episode. Still hate that Sakura, Ino, and Hinata are useless, but then again, so are Chouji, Kiba, and Rock Lee. I'm fine with Tsunade since she did do an enormous amount of work with saving everyone. It's a shame she couldn't do anything preventative, but that's what happens when you decide to have a medic-ninja as the leader and protector. Though, since we know Jiraiya wouldn't be able to do any better, it doesn't really matter. Konoha was fucked for putting all of their eggs in the basket of Naruto, Kakashi, and the Sanin, instead of cultivating/mentoring everyone. But that is just a story flaw that I accepted a long time ago. |

| I finally get why people on the first couple of pages were like "this felt like 5 minutes". 'Cause it is only 5 minutes of new materals. Other than the old flash backs, injured people screen time and talking about the same thing we went over last friday in class. This week Naruto goes OP next week Pain goes OP week after next week flash back then after that is a filler arc. I don't read the manga, that's just my prediction on this. EDIT: Oh yea, I don't know why but that girl-Pain body... the hair is so cute and the voice I can't get enough of! voice is rather cool ;p |

But that is just a story flaw that I accepted a long time ago. Rock Lee wasn't in the village during the attack because he was away on a mission with Guy. He's one of the more powerful characters in the anime based on potential and if the creators would use him to the best of his ability, he would kick ass. However, they underrate him a lot. For one, he can open the inner gates which they stated would give him power to rival a Hokage. And then there's his drunken fist which is just amazing. He could easily beat one or two of the Pains. Anyway, great episode. |

If I remember right Tsunade's technique for looking young has the adverse effect of aging her actual body faster. Tsunade is fine, she is at least as powerful as the other two in her old team. Its Sakura who is just too weak in comparison to Naruto and Sasuke. |

| Yeah it was alright the whole flashback thing is annoying anyways it's really stupid how Naruto has just suddenly gotten really powerful all of a sudden really bad pacing there imo |

Not really a strong argument because if you check most stories where women kick ass the writer is still a man. Actually women usually prefer to put some sexy boys doing all the work and the girls are even more useless in there stories. Anyway you pretty much implied like Tsunade did nothing when you where saying about how the others could fight well. So the answer is that she used a tone of chakra healing everyone so she didn't have much to fight with and she gets older because that technique makes grow older faster. Also if you look closely she didn't really looked worse that the third Hokage or Chiyo. I have to agree that this episode ended fast. It felt like they were trying to kill time at the start. They wanted to end it with the rasen-shuriken i guess. The things that bothers me every time with this big shounen anime and Naruto especially is how bad the technical department is. Artwork especially reaches ridiculous levels of simplicity. |
