| i think this is the first good episode since the show started, i was wondering if these enemies had a limit to their broken instant regeneration an inmortality an the epiosde pretty much confirmed it, they can be killed if they run outta juice, decent fight as well |

| four words: HYPE HYPE HYPE MOTHAFUCKAA!!! It was honestly awesome seeing our shinobi go off alone to fight the hermit gods, i really needed that. The ending was pretty hype too. I can't wait to see the lore behind what is actually happening. It's probably some fucked up shit >.> Anyway, i am loving the anime so far. The first episodes were a bit edgy and i didn't think the show would end up so good at this point... What do you guys think :)? |

| That battle scene with Gabimaru and the tensen was exhilarating. For the first time, I really thought Gabimaru was going to get killed. The dream sequence when Gabimaru woke up to see his wife was where I thought he was in the after life. But a dream was that. A dream. Gabimaru pulled off a last resort shinobi rule 20 to severely damage the tensen along with his life. But ofc plot armor came in to save Gabimaru. Mei came in to rescue Gabimaru last minute. Her following Gabimaru proved to be worth it. Another interesting aspect of the episode was that there was not one tensen. But 7 of them. 7 immortal monster freaks of nature. Yay! More pain and suffering. |

| Our MC VS zhu Jin episode. Very good fight. I guess Zhu Jin is actually the weakest teisen since it sounds like she/he also used his/her monster form before too. Only Zhu Jin and the pink hair teisen actually enjoy becoming a female. Gabimaru is strong, but I'm pretty sure they will win if not fighting alone. Theirs 7 Teisen, so who Mei is? A failure teisen or something... Can't wait for the next episode. |

| An exceptional episode once again. The animation of the fights is incredible and with a very good choreography. Gabimaru shows his spirit and curse as clinging to his soul as the desire to return to his wife. And finally we know who are the gods against whom everyone will have to fight to get the elixir of eternal life. One of the three best anime of this season definitely. |

| despite the animation quality drop, it's apparent that the one thing that'll always look good is ascetic blaze. gabimaru went all gatling gun mode on the tensen. the night setting was cool though. |

| Even with Senta's warnings and the fact that there are too many mysteries to be solved, it wasn't hard to guess that Gabimaru would set off alone to Horai for the Elixir of Life. We can assume that this gigantic red gate, which can also be seen in the OP, represents the last hurdle to the heart of Horai. Logically, Gabimaru soon had to deal with a Tensen and once again it was Zhu Jin. The fight itself had insane choreography and equally great animation, which portrayed the beauty of hand to hand combat. This was also the first time we saw both Gabimaru and Zhu Jin push their limits, which only made this section more intense. However, something strange happened when Gabimaru kicked Zhu Jin in the stomach. His foot appeared to shimmer in that golden glow that we saw earlier in Mei's attack. Whatever that means, Zhu Jin undoubtedly suffered some serious internal damage. My god, the Kishikai transformation looked crazy. You can tell the author found inspiration from Chainsaw Man. Otherwise he would hardly be able to create anything like this. But even that was just barely able to bring down Gabimaru. I'm glad that Mei followed him and thereby acted as his lifesaver. Houko provided some very interesting information. So a god split himself into 7 parts? No wonder why I was so irritated that any Tensen had both the same male voice (Suwabe, Junichi) and female voice (Kaida, Yuuko). After Gabimaru's fight, one thing is certain. If the Tensen are pushed to their limits, they will wither into rather frail creatures and must first drink from the elixir itself and regain their young form and strength. So what happens if they can't get their hands on the elixir back in this state? On the other hand, it should be almost impossible to bring all 7 Tensen into such a state without help. Especially since we can assume that the leader is multiple times stronger than Zhu Jin. With an ending like that, I'd love to see Gabimaru team up with Gantetsusai. |

| This episode was awesome dude. One of the best so far. Hella awesome fight scene. Lots of lore. Learned about these 7 warlords of the sea (tensen). There also seems to be some special nen power (tao) which the tensen and the little girl can wield. It also looks like Gabimaru used it unintentionally. This will be the way to defeat the immortal tensen! 10/10 loving this series. May go on to read the manga after this season finishes. I hope that other prisoner doesn’t kill Gabimaru D: he’s pretty weak right now. And it turns out the brothers survived which is a nice reveal! |

Well the tree guy says that all of them are the same person split into 7, so having same VA makes sense. He explicitly says 'they all look and sound the same'. |

| The tensen being 1 person who split into 7 is pretty wild, It reminds me of Inyuasha a bit and also makes me bewildered at the relationship they have with one another! On another note, Gabimaru's barrage against Zhu Jin was epic. Them turning into a flower monster that shoots lightning was also epic. |
