| another amazing episode. i loved the fight between gabimaru and sagiri. rather than a a fight between the two of them, it was more like a fight between them and their emotions, and i that was beautiful in it's own way. seeing gabimaru realize he has emotions and wants to be a good person and has a reason to keep living. and sagiri realize that as well and wanting to stay beside gabimaru to help him reclaim himself and make a new life for him and his wife. i hope we get to see it pay off in the end. the death of the red haired guy surprised me. i thought he'd last at least a few more episodes and be an important character, but i suppose i was wrong. all those creatures are seriously creepy. im so curious to find out the backstory of the island. how it ended up the way it is and why. super excited for the rest of the show. definitely a highlight of the season. |

| Sad to say this show really feels like it's going to just be pretty nothingness. At least the plot of this episode wasn't as contrived as the first two (a low bar, but it does make it, if barely). I'd love to be proved wrong but it hasn't managed that yet. The best characters rn are the island monsters, which do have incredible designs. Definitely the best part of the show so far. |

| I don't think there was need for this much exposition on Gabimaru's feelings... But didn't expect the blonde woman and the red-haired guy to die. Interesting. I really wish to meet the other people who will live for a little longer. |

| Interesting criminals and the executers... And some of the 'interesting' characters are good as dead just a few minutes after stepping on that island. Well, the OP song visual already shows the 'main' characters, of course the blonde sexy and the red hair Renji look alike are dead... But it is actually surprised me when they dead easily without knowing a litte more about them. Tamiya guy and his small executer look in synch, maybe Tamiya is a good interesting character... He even instant cutting his hand to be cautious... And he is 100% right with his prediction.... Looks like the creepy insects that infected human to look like a creepy flower blooming zombie... Gabimaru first criminal opponent remind me of Benkei from Samurai Warriors for collecting opponents weapons as own treasures. |

| Monsters look really creepy. I hope they don't skip fights too much, I want to see Gabimarus flames. The short Aseamon with two weapons looked cool. |
| Great episode, even though it didn't feel like much happened it suddenly ended. I wasn't sure if Gabimaru and Sagiri would fight but I figured that they would realize that they need each other's help in order to survive that hellish island. The scene where Gabimaru hesitated to end Sagiri when he was on top of her and then an image of his wife appearing to help hold back the sword was great. |
| really interesting story thus far, started with a simple and somewhat silly premise that has been elevated due to proper characterization. i now want to find myself a qt samurai executioner waifu. |

| color palette of this show looks so good, they did really well to bring out that island paradise vibe of the manga. that scene with gabimaru on top sagiri though, menacing moment. |

| This anime is excellent dude. Another great ep. The bit where that guy instantly cut off his hand was cool. Reminded me of another scene in a recent season 6 :D I can’t believe that red-hair guard died! I assumed he was going to he first ranked out of the asaemon (?) |

| This is giving real early 2010s late 2000s vibe. Feels vintage good. Slowly creeping up there for me, until it has a bad episode its close to masterpiece. |
