Well I hope they properly adapt it then instead of care about going to the next project. Since people been saying 12 episodes seems too rushed to adapt rest of the series. |
| It's not even aired yet idk how you came to that conclusion (even then it has a higher popularity than certain Fall 2021 shows that finished airing). It's #1 in popularity among the upcoming anime ON MAL. That's probably like less than half of the viewers. So yes it's much more popular than you think. |

There was over a million tweets overall when that episode dropped. oh yeah it's increased? i was early it was 550k at the time i saw it, though i screenshot some of them Armin, Eren, Mikasa when it was trending anyway, i look at the huge drop and i would compare the latest trending trailer with AoT part 1 trailer because both are trailers viewer engagement of the newest trailer within a day is much less in comparison to Part 1's trailer that's what i was referring to |

| Dude is actually right. In terms of social media, AoT definitely feel off popularity. This is a result of both manga readers bitching about the ending and AoT haters gaining extreme popularity (and also a bit of the "mappa production haters"). I've seen recently a comment thread on Twitter going on war on a guy that claim Snk was one of his favorite anime. There were so many people not only ad hominem the dude but also claiming the series was facist (yes, there's still a large number of people who believe this bs). In comparison from what the series was considered after S3P2, the series is far less popular and appreciated. |

| I think it's common knowledge that popularity ≠ quality. Attack on Titan no longer needs to promote itself through social media publicity; the silent majority of its fanbase is a big enough audience already. |
