that makes sense thanks i was actually also thinking about how takano was kind off like a pawn of lambda too, maybe after the first pawn wasnt useful anymore she decided to try with satoko. And what you say makes sense Satoko being councious of her actions is important otherwise her involvement would be pointless.

it was all a genious marketing strategy now i really want to check umineko, although i dont think ill read the VN just yet maybe the manga will be a better fit for me.

another fun fact Takano or better known as Tanashi Miyoko is also a character in another Ryukishi07 manga, that mf is a master now i want to check that manga as well lol

I’m glad to see someone else enjoyed the final season of higurashi I also gave it a 10. I’m not completely sure about what satoko is talking about but maybe what we see is the witch that is inside satoko considering going after rika because “this happy place isn’t for her” and then in the split second her eyes change deciding not to and giving back her body to satoko, idk if that makes sense but after thinking about it that was my read of the situation.

Fun fact about the ending the song Dear You is an old song from the series and the lyrics perfectly give closure to this story I recommend looking them up it makes it more emotional.
