| I'm not really a big fan of Naruto characters or the series in general, but If I had to choose I'd Obito, he was probably the only one that had convincing reasons to become a villian and I felt sad for him. |

| It's Kakashi, Shikamaru, and then Itachi for me. Kakashi is probably one of the most deepest characters in Naruto, and the one who has experienced probably the most loss (maybe more than Itachi, idk I'll have to do more research) But he was my favorite ninja sinse his first appearance, and he stayed that way for the entirety of Naruto. |

If you want to see who are the most liked characters, wouldn't that be better and more accurate due to the larger numbers of people? Like Itachi is first here with 140+ votes, whereas in the character list he is second with like 54,000 votes, thus being more accurate |

In poll I'm asking all you to give your #1 favorite naruto character, whereas Mal give you spots for 10 favorite characters(its totally on the user how he utilizes those 10 spots). I will explain this to you with example:- Take a example of my account, my favorite anime is one piece and I love two characters luffy and zoro but if you ask me which character I love more?, my answer will be "My #1 favorite one piece character is luffy". I have two favorite one piece characters, it mean on Mal one piece page there will luffy with 1+ favorite & zoro with 1+ favorite but in the poll you have to choose only one not two/three/seven or ten like Mal. If I vote for luffy then according to my poll luffy have 1+ favorite, whereas zoro have 0+ favorites. Let's analyze and compare my naruto poll with Mal favorites:- As i said above Mal give you 10 spots, if some one love naruto and itachi both, he will add them both, so both will have 1+ favorites in there profile and in poll itachi is on top, it means that if a naruto fan love itachi & naruto both and you ask him who is your #1 favorite from both, most of the answers will be in favor of itachi, this is according to my poll, but Mal says most of naruto fan will choose naruto over itachi because naruto have most favorites. Do you understand, it's not neccessary that if you have a favorite character from some anime in you favorite list will turn out to be your #1 favorite character, he could be your 2nd/3rd favorite. Just See my pole, sasuke is not even in top 5 and sikamaru is in top 4, if I let fans choose only one naruto favorite character but if I let fans choose multiple favorites character(means according to Mal), sikamaru is not in top 4 but sasuke is in top 4. I hope you understand, & sorry for bad my English. Do not worry, your English is good, and I understand the purpose of this poll now. Although I still believe from a statistical standpoint the character list would make more sense, mainly because of the fact that myanimelist only allows 10-20 favourite characters, people tend to only select one favourite character from each series, and the sheer numbers of favourites there, we're going to have to agree to disagree.. And pain is just behind sasuke, what do you think why sasuke is behind? Shikamaru and Obito?! They're really nice characters but I wouldn't call them favorites. I even expected Gaara to rank higher. Sasuke is a shock, for sure. I was expecting him to be 4th at least! :( I'm thinking three possible reasons One is his whole revenge plot went overboard. It was bad enough how he acted during the 5 Kage Summit, but then he went to challenge Naruto after defeating Kaguya. While I see this as a necessity, I guess some people hate him for it. I mean can you seriously imagine Naruto ending without a conclusion between Naruto and Sasuke? Come on π€£ Second possible reason is because Boruto is ruining him :( Idk if you watch or read it, but they're basically making him useless despite how strong he's supposed to be. Third possible reason is his fans are shared with Itachi. And having to choose between the two, they'd pick Itachi. Sorry for the long post. Huge Sasuke fan here and this really makes me sad π |

Huge Sasuke fan here and this really makes me sad π It's ok, I have no problem with long post. My reason for not liking sasuke is that naruto talk no jutsu work on sasuke in the last fight. And ofcourse another reason is no result of final fight. And I read boruto monthly. Sasuke's character was good until kawaki arc came by, in kawaki arc sasuke was only a punching bag for jigen from starting to end when naruto & sasuke both fought jigen in another dimension, sasuke was holding his own until naruto get sealed, after jigen beat crap out of sasuke. And this was not worst thing with sasuke, when issiki Otsutsuki appeared, sasuke literally said while fighting him that "I'm out of chakra", that's where I lost all the love for sasuke. It's not like I hate sasuke.... it's just that I have mixed feelings for sasuke. Sasuke was my favorite character before timeskip, and I added him to my favorite character list, but after time skip kishimoto failed to handle sasuke properly. It's my personal opinion, right now sasuke is my 8th favorite character from naruto series. It's alright dude. I can accept differing opinions without going on a rampage π But in Naruto and Sasuke's final fight, didn't Talk no Jutsu technically work on him? Which is why he eventually admitted defeat Or do you mean the pre-fight talk? I think Kishi didn't end that fight with an actual win is because he doesn't wanna anger the Sasuke fans π€£ But you're spot on about Sasuke in Boruto. I only picked up the anime. I was happy with him at first. He is able to defend himself well in his fights with the Otsutsukis in other dimensions. He was awesome in the Sarada Arc (this was not in the Boruto manga though) and the Timeslip Arc (anime only). But he was definitely useless in the Isshiki fight. I felt like what they did with him there was utter disrespect to his character :( Please let him get a redemption soon π On a different note, I'm curious on your top 3, if you don't mind π |
