Anime history time. The 1982 series (and every other Macross title since) is mainly mecha + action + adventure + post apocalypse + love triangle show...but it's also the first anime which introduced the idol culture and the VA of Minmay Lynn (one of the MCs) - Mari Iijima became the first IRL idol in Japan. My original point was not that Vivy is your typical idol show but that it's also an idol show along cyberpunk thriller. |

| Database Guidelines: Anime Please try and submit relevant pictures, representing the main characters and art style of the series. Preference is given to group pictures with minimal text/external images. The logo of the series should be included, if possible, for main picture submissions. |
| Somebody is low key underselling Vivy again with this generic idol poster. A lot of anime listed here have posters of just scenery and mundane objects or just a logo but it's considered the official image to represent the anime so why is a group photo highly recommended for Vivy since she's solely the character the anime focuses on. I doesn'tmake sense. |
