| No why would a song being sung by Alvin and the Chipmunks at a faster pace ever be better than the original? Even at its best Nightcore music is pretty bad. That being said I think there are a very select few songs that sound better played at a faster pace (I thought Pellek's heavy metal rendition of all the Power Rangers themes sounded even better when I played it back at a higher speed), but this is without the voice getting changed to something squeaky like what the hell I don't get why Nightcore does that the squeaky voice is annoying. |

| Depending on the song, honestly. I was introduced to nightcore while playing osu!, and I really liked it. One of the best songs with Nightcore would be KonoSuba's ending theme "Chiisana Boukensha". But sometimes, nightcore can also be... annoying, especially if you're trying to nightcore remix a high-pitched song... |

| I have a hard time understanding the popularity of NightCore. The squeaky and high-pitched vocals are fucking disturbing that I find it impenetrable to discern why anyone could really relish such atrocity. Anyway, my opinion is it is one of the worst music to ever be heard by myself, along the line with mumble rap certainly. |

| I’m not a big fan, the vocals are too squeaky for me but I will admit some songs are definitely improved by being sped up. An exception is my hatred of nightcore remixes for angel with a shotgun, those will forever haunt my dreams. |

| I like to listen to nightcore from time to time, but only Maikel6311's since he's staying true to the original vibe of it aka nightcoring EDM and not pop songs which I generally am not fond of. |

| It's an alright genre of music. I don't like listening to it all the time as it can sometimes be grating to me. What I don't like though is the community at times and how they feel entitled to the music when all they've done is pitched it up and increased the speed. When they take music created by youtubers such as Lizz and Amanda Lee and then nightcore to claim it as their own, it just opens a bag of worms on who has ownership with the nightcore group being the loudest on saying its now their original work since they edited it. |

I think the original purpose of Nightcore was to avoid DMCA takedowns from automated systems since you can simply just play the song normal speed by slowing it down again using YouTube's playback speed settings. Actual remixes are better which sometimes get labelled nightcore as well. |
