| God it's been a looong two weeks but Darling in the Franxx is finally back. From the looks of it, it seems that a final boss (maybe a klaxosaur relative of 02) is lurking in the darkness, and we basically got a confirmation that all the parasites are slowly beginning to die (miku's white hair, Futoshi's sickness). So yeah, it looks like this isn't going to end well despite all the sugary words exchanged about being together forever. Also, the new OP and ED are excellent. |

| Shit, the death flags surely got raised for everyone... More of them keep getting the child fever, Miku's hair is turning grey, something is also wrong with Futoshi since he can't seem to eat properly, Hiro said the ultimate death line of " we"ll always be together". God, my heart won't be able to take this. Other than this the developments were pretty good. Mitsuru managed to redeem hismelf in my eyes and his new hair cut suits him way better, Kokoro's kiss was cute. HYPE for the new antagonist, I am guessing it's Zero Two's mother, maybe, she looks similar enough. |

| The OP visuals are for me as good as the first one. Relaxing episode but at the same time, I really did want something to happen after that 1 week break so pretty underwhelmed right now. I thought 002 was too happy and the atmosphere was too cheerful for me. Felt too awkward after weeks of drama. There should have been a slow build to the happiness and not some bizarre change from the last episode to this. |

| The new OP is okay. So Papa is not helping them at all now and wants to see if they can take care of themselves. They seem to be doing okay, for now anyway. Mitsuru's haircut is quite bad. I don't care much for that kiss. I wonder who's the new character at the end. |

| Placing my bets right now, the 'Klaxosaur Princess', or the spider-like girl seen in the OP, also seen at the end of this episode, is Code: 001. Also is it just me or does Zero Two sound different? Almost like a completely different VA. |
| A few notable points this episode although some passed by pretty fast Nana has pain in her head, add that to the death flag list, and one that will probably come to fruition Miku has some grey hairs - remember the squad 26 leader who'd gone from dark brown/black hair in episode 6 to completely grey by episode 15? Dr Franxx etc doing more lab rat BS with squad 13 More yuri hints from Ikuno towards Ichigo Mitsuru's reaction to the kiss seems like he's more interested in thinking about Hiro Papa etc have sent their last warning and waiting for a reaction from Klaxo Princess & Blue Oni at end of episode Zorome not thanking Papa for the food More conversation about "being human" and 3rd time since ep 12 those exact words have been used (yeah I'm just keeping count since I made that topic after ep 9 ^_^) If it's going fully into the Red Oni, Blue Oni set up. I'm still fairly sure the adults are the bad guys, and since in the traditional story it's the red that's sacrificed for the sake of the blue, future is looking very uncertain for 002 DitF seems to do reverse fillers, just like the beach episode. The ones that seem to have the least plot and more cute or funny character stuff, actually reveal the most |

| I am really glad they didn't change the opening song. They did change it in Kill la Kill and I was really pissed. The new sequence has so much information holy heck. A filler episode, but still, we get a small peek at the new villain, which obviously has a connection to Zero Two. Can't wait to see what SEELE has planned for the squad. And also, what the Doc FranXX has panned out because he's obviously against the pointy hat people. |

| I'm not sure how I feel about the direction this is going since last episode... I would have preferred if the break-up between Hiro and Zero Two stuck, at least for a little while (preferably forever, but at least take advantage of that tension...). But it looks like they may be pulling back on the metaphor that made this so interesting, and focusing on the more up-and-down literal story, with some hints that this might become a lot of just standard over-the-top TTGL-style shonen... That isn't strictly a bad thing (it was amazing when TTGL did it), it's just not what I wanted from this show, and it hasn't made me trust that it can deliver at a high enough level. |

| Well, it was just an excellent slice of life, although as already mentioned, this is an obvious calm before the storm. Or, more precisely, it was a 002 episode, since its 70% is a variety of cute scenes with her. | A calm before the storm episode eh... I was so weirded out with how 02 acted with them, I woulda been ok with it if she slowly blended in but she instantly went from fighting with the whole squad to being a giggly fluffy little kitten, I don't like that, it felt off, at least do it slowly for it to feel natural. Mitsuru's new haircut and first kiss... Kokoro got thristy real fast. Zorome went from being the guy I hated the most in the group to my favorite! The dragon at the end looked cool! and new character! Also.. 02.. stop.raising.your.death.flag! damn it! Going by the visuals of new OP and the foreshadows in the ep itself... more than half the cast are gonna bite the dust. |

| This episode was so fun and adorable! We got to see them start to understand how much has to be done to take care of themselves. Zero Two seems so cheerful I love it. Also the cooking scene was the best! |
