| this was one of the best eps of the arc so far, which has been interesting but without that epic action i've gotten used to. anyways, things seem to be coming to a climax now. i'm really excited. this ep was also really funny, between iva's reaction, luffy's hyperness and just everything. it was awesome hearing about dragon and the revolution, i kind of forgot about them. |

| So Ivankov is a revolutionary too, and one of Dragon's companions- who would've thought?! Luffy is prolly gonna feel pretty crappy once this whole thing is over...not only has he had 10 years taken off his life, but now he's been injected to the nines with adrenaline. Poor boy :< Surprised by how quickly this arc is moving- they got down all those levels pretty fast or maybe it just feels fast bc I'm marathoning OP Only 6 hours until Ace's execution!! |

| Ivan has very unique proportions |
| Seeing how grateful Luffy was for Bon Clay's efforts was heartwarming. If not for Bon Clay not even counting Alabasta, Luffy would have died numerous times already. But no, Bon Clay risked his life and health numerous times to make sure his friend Mugi-chan would make it. It really puts into perspective how much Luffy relies on his friends, it's a two way street. I don't necessarily buy that Bon Clay was what pushed Luffy to get through the treatment but I'm sure it could have had a subconscious effect that benefited him to know he had a comrade outside fighting with him. Who the heck would have expected that turn of events anyway. Wow... Ivan is one of Dragons nakama, a commander in his armies. It's no surprise now why he can command his people so darn well. Lololol Luffy is getting a habit of being injected with things to make him strong enough to fight. In Thriller Bark it was forcibly putting shadows into him and here it's injecting him with hormones to spike his energy forcefully setting him up for an awful crash later down the line. At least that proved that food isn't enough to charge him back up to full power, after being put through that kind of exhaustion and pain and treatment even a rubber boy full of food can't practically fight. A small detail I loved was how Inazuma took the form of a male this time. The episode paid no serious attention to it but we can assume they choose on a whim what form they would prefer on a given day. The new kama have transcended gender and sex and I love that it let us as an audience pick up on that detail, and how it shows Ivan chooses to be a mix of male and female traits rather than picking one side like Inazuma does. This group is interesting, and to beat the crap out of those wolves means they're quite strong too. I still haven't been able to grasp what the hell 'death wink' is though! I wonder if Luffy and his gang will run into Mr. 3 and Buggy on their way out. It seems like we may be getting to the final stretch, or at least one of the final stretches. Luffy, Inazuma, and Ivan will rush through to Ace and try to grab him but have to fight off jailors and probably demon guards too. Once they get Ace it won't be easy though, it may be totally worth it to let out those awful pirates also locked away to help fight against all the navy waiting outside. And we can't forget, if Whitebeard is going to attack Impel Down it's going to be soon! I do admit I feel this and last episode could have been sped up and put together, maybe ending a little earlier than it did here, and it would have been far better. |

| It's certainly been quite a while since we've heard about Dragon and it's a very interesting thing that Ivankov's actually one of the Revolutionary Army's commanders and a close friend of the guy. Time's nearly up but Luffy's dead set on rescuing his brother no matter what! It's a good thing that Ivankov's there to help him out in case things get rougher than he could handle. |
