Lol I don't think MAL is the appropiate place to do so, also gypsy swears (if they're geniunely gypsies) are not in Romanian, but their own dialect.

This is pretty on point, though most swears there are still pretty tame.
Also if you enjoy rock/metal music (and since you like Romanian language) here are some geniune Romanian folk rock:

Any form spoken English that commonly includes slang sounds ugly to me (Rednecks particularly).
German sounds like they're angry and want to kill you, but I quite like it.
Dutch people sounds like Germans that have gained bear DNA.
Cantonese and other Chinese dialects sound vulgar and ugly, while mandarin sounds far more refined.
Japanese spoken outside of anime sounds retarded to me, I don't even know why (It feels like real Japanese people are all people of very few words, socially challenged, and autistic).
Those African languages with the clicks and stuff sound cool, but not pretty.
Be thankful for the wisdom granted to you.

Vietnamese sounds a little off. All those tones would be quite problematic to try and actually speak. While Inuktitut has a really cool alphabet, pronouncing it looks pretty challenging. It's a language I want to tackle eventually.

On the other hand, I do like languages that sound cool. Russian is one of the cooler languages. Plus, it uses cyrillic, which other languages such as Kurdish, Tajik, Ukrainian, and Serbian use as well.

It sounds neither like a proper romance language (like French of Italian) neither like a proper slavic language (like Ukrainian or Polish) it's a mongrel -.-
Wait, did you just call French a "proper romance language"? French is about the furthest Language that can be called "Romance Language" lmao x'DDDD
If you consider Romanian a Corruption between a Slavic Language and a Latin-based one, then French must be a much weirder Mongrel, because it contains Frankish (Germanic) Influences. So much that they even named their own Nationality after it:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Name_of_France
Not even the older Name "Gaul" that might be preferred by some French is original Gaulish, but stems from a Germanic Term Walhaz which is from where the Welsh also got their Name and which simply means "Stranger".

Romanian is grammatically probably the closest Language to Vulgar Latin, the spoken Latin in the Roman Empire, where other Languages have lost Features such as having a third (neutral) Gender and the Case Differentiation in Nouns.

Yeah I know, but Romanian tenses suffered a lot of simplifying for example. While other Romance languages have 4 and 6 tenses in the subjunctive mood, Romanian has only 2. Not to mention the imperfect in the indicative mood is all weird in Romanian. For example, 'my Father was Romanian' would require the imperfect tense in the rest of Romance languages, but in Romanian you use a compound tense: Tatăl meu a fost român, instead of saying Tatăl meu era român. The way tenses work in Romanian are a bit different.

Nothing against the Simplification of Tenses. We also use the Perfect more often in spoken German (except for Verbs like "be" and "have (got)").
Isn't that Sentence in Genitive, so it would be more like "The Father of mine has been Romanian"? xD

Propably has to do with my awful french teacher from years ago and that i was forced to take french class for 4 years. Forgot almost all i learned in those years and im so happy i did, no matter what use it would have had to me

Hey, I know this might sound weird, but I've been trying for some time to learn German (on my own, I can't afford classes) and I've been wondering if you know any good online sites (or books, apps, tutorials) for this task? I'm mostly interested in sites with proper pronunciation and lots of examples on how to pronounce stuff.

I know that you don't translate it like that, but that would be the closest literal Translation.

As to your Question: I had made a Thread with a few Links: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1456364

You should learn the IPA Symbols for German and then you can work with whatever Textbook you have. You can also try to listen to Videos and to record your Voice. I can't make any Recommendations for a particular Textbook, (Video) Tutorial or other Stuff, though.

Yeah that's the most literal translation I've ever seen.
And thanks a lot, didn't expect to find threads on this topic on MAL to be honest and Cookies files are very helpful since I'm already familiar with such a format.
Though I think I'll probably still have to join some official German course at some point if I want real progress.

Spanish: It just looks and sounds like a dumbed down version of Portuguese for people who couldn't learn Portuguese grammar and phonetics.

Dutch: Sounds like someone having a stroke or someone who is attempting to speak English or German whilst drunk as fuck. I like it nevertheless, but would not call it good sounding.

Danish: It's the North Germanic language with the best looking written form, but also the one with the ugliest sounding phonetics.

Would not call them ugly but French and Italian are overrated. A lot of times people will just they find them "sexy" and "romantic" because of media influence and not knowing what the meaning of "Romance language" is... no it is not about being romantic.

Not familiarised with languages outside of Europe that much, so I won't name any before listening more to them.

It makes no sense (to me) and when a lot of people are speaking those two particular languages at once, it drives me up the fucking wall. But yeah, those languages suck tbh and I've never liked the way they sound.

Most Arabic dialects (I don't mind e.g. Lebanese Arabic though)
Australian English (It sounds like they're vomiting every time they open their mouth)
European Portuguese (Brazilian Portuguese sounds much nicer)
Norwegian Bokmål (Nynorsk on the other hand...)
Kim Kardashian English (YUCK)
Spanish (It's inferior to French)
Thai (It sounds like somebody dragging their nails on a chalkboard to me)

Also this goes without saying but anybody who says French or Swedish are ugly languages is a racist bigot
