| This announcement reminds me that I need to finish reading the 1st volume which I stopped around midway. Anyway, from what I read, this was more gripping n engaging than ngnl, atleast narratively, so that's an improvement. Wonder if this is madhouse production, since 2 out of 3 authors have worked with them before. And from what I can guess, this series has the potential to get as popular as NGNL, or even more. We know what happens when madhouse label is attached to a series anyway |

| Aaaaaa yay! Now that's some news! Some things to know, and what to expect: Written by No Game No Life's author. Same clever interactions exist. Amazing universe. Beautiful setting. Will be a total pleasure to watch for steampunk lovers. Writing style, overall plot and characters, as it is at its best a Light Novel, is, wait for it... shit. Utter, butchered shit. Wasted potential. A middle finger to Kamiya Yuu for making two series that are so good and so bad at the same time. A lot of unnecessary things, sometimes reaching to levels of inevitable cringe. Main Heroine RyuuZU will be hated by a lot. Talks shit and insults others all the time, it's rage inducing. Main character is self insert but in Kamiya Yuu's trademark style. This one has a cool inborn ability you'll never have, so by making the character flat, one can associate. Similiar stuff with Sora, and how his cleverness was used for pure self insert for the no-life consumers. Quality highly depends on how it will be adapted. Depending on spent budget and workforce, some scenes that comes to my mind will be an absolute treat. |

Well this time we at least have a warning in form of htis being from No Game No Live(Aka kitschy trash: the franchise) author, so expectations could not get any lower, I'd say. Not touching it ever. The only thing this could be worse is if it was connected to Highschool DXD, was animated by Toei or Deen or had Mari Okada as lead writer. The only reason I would watch the first episode is for a drinking game on wether MC walks in on someone naked, falls onto someone's boobs or gets beaten up by a girl with anger issues. |
