| One of best episodes I have seen a while! Yuuji had a fucked up childhood. I knew that it was going to be bad but damn!! I feel so bad for him! How can anyone treat a child this way? God, he was such a cute child (grew up to be a handsome guy) and wanted to go through the screen and protect him. That bath scene with this sister reminded me of Aki-Sora. Sort of. |

| Holy shit, was this ever thoroughly satisfying--everything from start to finish. We finally get Yuuji's backstory with his hard, fucked up childhood. Almost everything fucked up that can happen to a little boy, Yuuji has experienced it; child neglect, incest, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, PTSD... I should stop now because I can go on and on. I was wondering what the bush-dog thing was at the beginning, but now that I rewatched and thought about it, the software on the PC may have substituted for a spotter when vision was poor for sniping in the fog. Side note: Along the same lines of "Why do all the aliens only attack USA!?" where it's usually the US that sees all the action be it anime or otherwise; I think it's great they set the foreign country affairs to Canada as a change of pace, since Canada see's it's fair share of combat in overseas military deployment and domestic attacks IRL. The whole time Yuuji's father was raping his mother, I got a quite the euphoria when Yuuji really did kill his father with a clean hit to the head, after I was essentially chanting "Kill him! Kill him! Take the bottle and kill him!..." like a mantra. Which reminds me...is Yuuji ambidextrous, but slightly stronger with the left? I ask because he throws the ball harder with the left, but swung the bottle with his right and got nice one-hit kill with it. It's too bad about Marlin, even though it was as expected. So, we find out that gay pedophile Oslo is still alive somewhere. I should have known Sachi would have been the one to piece together Yuuji's shredded report by hand, that looked like it must have been 100+ pages. At least it wasn't a cross-cut shredder that turns paper into confetti. |

| Oh god, this is what an adaptation looks like 8bit. Thankfully they didn't cram the whole Grand Route into 47 minutes. I'm not sure how they'll insert the remaining 2/3 of Meikyuu into Rakuen though. Let's just hope they don't fuck it up, again. | Well goddamn...Yuuji had a fucked up past. That little bit of WINcest he got didn't really balance out the abuse, watching his mom get raped/seeing dead bodies, getting molested, killing people, never eating etc. But it was still some legit wincest. Doesn't look like the story completely ended though. I wonder if they'll roll it over into Rakuen. Idk why the fuck they didn't just make 2 episodes for this and air it last week when spring started. |

| This was an awesome special, they animated almost exactly like the VN. What a horrible past, but I give props to the MC because I dont think any of us would have came out alright like the MC. Well, even though it is incest... Kazuki and the MC look good together. I support them lol |

| Those 50~ minutes went by really fast. I was completely focused on the story. Didn't get bored or lose interest for a second. Very nicely done. Oh wow, Yuuji had a really bad past before going to that school. I guess that really is ordinary compared to his past. Still think that Kazuki is awesome, despite the incest. I'm super pumped for Eden now! |
| This is by far the best I've seen of the Grisaia anime so far. I always knew Yuuji was a badass with quite tragic past but I honestly didn't expect his past to be this dark and brutal. Yuuji literally had the most fucked up childhood events happen to him. I like him even more now after finding about his past. Kazuki seemed to really love Yuuji, talk about really strong incest vibes. I expected Yuuji's mother to commit suicide right after she got raped by her husband but it was still quite shocking. Yuuji being molested and had to basically cross dress as his sister was pretty creepy though. Marlin was quite the strange girl. She honestly seemed like she was going to kill Yuuji during his 'final graduation' test. Still, she was kind enough to help Yuuji when he was injured. A real shame that she actually died not long after. We finally got to see Asako finding Yuuji too. Overall, I really enjoyed this special and it got me excited for Grisaia no Rakuen. 8/10 |

| Incest is clearly one of the words to describe this episode. Well, I haven't touched the VN of this yet because of the translation still ongoing. So he was trained by terrorists. That explained some things visually. It's a shame that Marlin died. I had hope that they will meet again. I was expecting the past between Yuuji and Asako on how they both made progress of their early lives together. Maybe the sequel might have something to do with that. 8/10 It was actually good disregarding the other scenes. |

| Kazami is awesome. Chizuru looks better in school uniform, that's for sure. Yuuji's father the worst among that worst, he deserved that death. Yuuji has the worst past out of any harem male protagonists and one of the worst in general. How come they didn't show more of Yuuji's mentor? I thought she had a bigger role in Meikyuu judging from the poster, but she got so little screen-time. I am sure the girls would feel like giving Yuuji a warm hug after they find out Yuuji's past. |

| To all those asking about Asako, yes she has a big role in Meikyuu but they left that out here. Most likely they'll adapt that part in the first episode or two of Rakuen starting next week instead |

| Yuuji went through some serious shit in his past. I feel sorry for that guy. But it's a good thing. The end result is the badass sonuvabitch he is now. Kazuki told Yuuji not to make any female friends back then and now that bastard has a whole harem. This episode just makes Yuuji an even better character in my eyes. He had to bear all those problems alone. He really had it tough. Now to wait for Grisaia no Rakuen. |

| That was pretty fucked... I thought the first season managed to get dark at times. I guess Yuuji knew Sachi as a kid? since its the name he brings up when Kazuki says she wants to approve the girls he is "friends" with, maybe this came up in the first season? I don't recall though. |

| Seems great adaptation so far. Lots of people don't like the adaptation of Kajitsu, but don't worry about this time because bacically Meikyu has only a route, not like Kajitsu, so I believe they just follow the original route. It's unfortunate that Sekai project couldn't make the transration of Grisaia trilogy in time for Meikyu anime, I know it was next to impossible but... :( |

| Very good and interesting episode, i like dark stories and this one was brilliant compared to the bland first tv season. Hope the trend continue for the whole second season too. 5/5 |
| That was really nice :3 Chizuru was so kawaii Holy shit she looks way younger with loose hair :3 Kazuki being that jelly for Yuuji having Girl friends was lol She's quite the yandere brocon :O It's amazing how much Yuuji changed XD I'd love to see Kazuki's reaction to seeing the current Yuuji lol DAT SHOWER Scene. Dat KISS *A* Yuuji's childhood was friggin suffering. From his loser of a father to that pedo Oslo. The 2nd half with Oslo was quite fun seeing how he was trained and became an assassin (those were some creative assassinations hanging a person up on the street boards XD. I really wonder what happened after Yuuji was taken in by the CIA? Drug induced memory loss? And the toughest time of his life? Even tougher than what he went through :O 8.5/10 + 0.5 for the KazukixYuuji kiss :P |
