| The flashback of Kyros was very sad and specially when Scarlet died :( And Ussop vs Sugar WTF! that was so funny!! How Ussop takes Sugar down was really One Piece style. Really missed a episode like this! From this point this arc will get better and better! |

Sure it was funny but after all that bull we had to put up with in the past episodes about Usopp being a coward and looking forward to him being a badass then they make him a joke who "beats" Sugar by a fluke. I guess he is stuck being comedic relief for the rest of the anime now. How sad since the Time skip arc I've been waiting for him to finally get some balls along with Nami and Chopper when it comes to fighting. They aren't weak characters they just never do anything to help until the last second which is why I was expecting Usopp to actually do something useful and win using his own abilities and skills instead of some stupid accident. On another note Kyro's flashback wasn't as bad as I thought it would be except the fact he had a baby with a 15 year old. |

| So for the longest time i had assumed Usopp was gonna shoot the Grape into Sugar's mouth while in a Monologue or something... Nope Full on Comedic "Victory"? (if you can count it as such) -sigh- caught up only to have a decent cliff hanger once again. Next episode is gonna have lots of action i would imagine! |

| So basically a flashback of a prior flashback. Of a minor side character. Plz no more journey to Rebecca Island. At least less dangling snot for awhile. That was getting intolerable, I had to take a break and catch up at speed. |

| That ending is the best thing this anime has done for a while now. I remembered Sugar misunderstanding the ball as being poison earlier, it's good they did something with that. I actually thought he was gonna spray fire in her face, but I guess they only wanted to shock her in the first place. Those good intentions (tabasco instead of poison) were what ended up saving Usopp in the end, and turning everyone back into humans. |

Usopp's face....that shit was the unexpected savior of the Operation SOP. LOL Can't believe knocking her out really cancels the effects of her powers even the ones way back from 10 years ago! |

| This was a beautiful episode. In the retelling of a story from another perspective, going so far to see shots from Rebecca’s memory such as when only she and Scarlet saw the palace burning with Kyros alongside her. Or the constant whiplash of genuinely sickening tragedy and hysterical comedy. Firstly, I’d touch on Kyros and the former. This was strong, as implied we first see the past through Rebecca and Riku’s eyes which got added onto with Kyros, and to build up Kyros’ life before destroying it makes this all the more personal. We saw Kyros come from having nothing, ready to die, feeling as though he would never belong, to finding a father, a family, and a home. He found some peace with himself and found a place to belong, something I can imagine seemed impossible to him at the time. It was sweet, and then Doflamingo came by and put everything into jeopardy. Kyros was lured into the castle with the belief of Viola that he would be kept safe. Doflamingo had planned to trap him and coerce him into being his. They chained him in a surprise attack and the moment he couldn’t cut the chain I think we all knew what was going to happen. That this one legged soldier did not lose his leg as a toy. To make a point Doflamingo reminded us that he may be the most terrifying villain One Piece has seen, telling Kyros that his family had already been targeted and attempting to behead Riku in front of him. In a single moment the Kyros who went from nothing and by a miracle found a family and a place of belonging had everything threatened and, despite us all knowing what was going to happen, the swiftness and resolve when it came to cutting his own leg off was nonetheless shocking and admirable as hell. But despite him giving his all, he lost everything. Even though he made it out with the king, he was forgotten. Later he saw his own wife get killed in front of him, his wife unable to know that it was Kyros who was seeing her pass away, and Kyros unable to even feel her warmth. Screaming like Luffy did for Ace, Kyros had even the intimacy of seeing a loved one die tainted by the Don Quixote family. Dressrosa has been built up wonderfully. The present day horrors and the past explored in the minute and personal, as well as the broadly traumatic. This was one of the best touches. Yet, as I initially expressed, through the sadness I couldn’t help but burst into laughter. The first instance of this was when Gladius was pissed off that he was tricked by Kin’emon’s disguise, as the absurdity of falling for such an act is too good and it came packaged after the horrific Kyros recollection. Then the next was likewise in a disgusting moment. Diamante was sadistically telling Rebecca about how he was the one to have killed Scarlet as Bartolomeo kept up a barrier to protect her. Rebecca is absolutely frozen in tears and anger and Bartolomeo drops the line; “Hey! If you attack her verbally like that, my barrier doesn’t mean anything!” Yes, Diamante found the counter to your insane power Bartolomeo, to pass through the barrier with cruel words.. The final and obvious one is once Usopp had yet again been set up with the utmost importance. Franky has been beaten to a pulp no longer able to hold everyone off, Luffy’s group is being surrounded by the second, the toys are cheering Usopp on Perona style(ganbare ganbare), and it’s all up to him. But after a display of spirit and a wonderful “don’t-know-what-it-is-but-it’s-some-kinda Special Attack” he was entrapped and beaten to near unconscious. He looked awful and all hopes were gone. That is when Sugar decided not to turn him into a toy but to feast on the sweet irony of feeding the apparent poison to Usopp and, while I thought this would backfire by giving him another chance, it backfired in an unexpected way. The sheer shock of Usopp exploding into flames scared her into an Eneru face and a complete collapse, ultimately taking her out and subverting the idea that it had to be feeding her the grape that would win this fight. This kind of comedy is effective when encased in tragedy because the contrast between the highs and lows makes them stand out all the more. Seriously, great stuff... |

| Kyros saw his wife spend her last moments without even knowing who the tin soldier holding her in his arms was her beloved husband that stuck with her until the end, damn... I was expecting to see Usopp do an epic sniper move and slingshot that grape into Sugar's mouth but what happened instead was absolutely hilarious! |
