voidox said: Wannabiteme said: Sure it's kind of fanservice. But my point was that someone can "achieve" bankai in much more less time than 10 years. no dude, it's really just all fan service :/ Rukia got her bankai thru nothing but plotkai and BS shortcuts that can make no sense at all except foooor: OVER 9000 deus ex powerups!! Every other shinigami, in the Bleach universe, has WORKED for their bankai... and that 10 year rule was solid as it's been clearly said that the only ppl to ever bypass this rule were Ichigo and Urahara cause they used Urahara's special TRAINING method, look at that, it's still training... and that's my real problem... Kubo just did this Rukia bankai out of the fcking blue cause it's last arc, so fck it eh :/ I mean, there was ALOT of risk involved with Urahara's method and the only real reason Ichigo could do it was cause he's special and all that (main character).... in no way is Rukia anywhere near that 'special' or any shit like that. It has NEVER once been shown or said that she is in some way a great prodigy, or that she's got some special blood in her, or anything like that.... if you fans remember, she ain't originally a Kuchiki, she was adopted~ So sure, fangasm over the bankai, I'm just calling out the total BS of her getting it on a silver platter from the RG. Wannabiteme said: Do you remember that Byakuya "learned" to use his safe zone (place where his blade won't do damages)? Was it shikai or bankai? I don't remember. The point is you cannot be master in your shikai or bankai. You can be good "enough" so your zanpakutou tells you his/her "shikai's name" and "bankai's name". Ok.. but... Byakuya was never shown to have suddenly learned of his safe zone, he always knew of that safe zone and it was only just revealed to us in the Fullbring arc. And wtf do u mean u can't master your kai? wtf is "good enough"? You're gonna tell me shinigami like Yamamoto or Unohana did not master their zan!? What... they were only "good enough" and yet had room for improvement? Look, the general point of a bankai is that when a shinigami fully masters his shikai, his/her next level of power is the bankai. So when they go on and train and all that, their goal to aim for is now: bankai, and not mastering shikai as that mastery is complete... can't just suddenly achieve bankai out of the blue when u still don't even know your shikai's full power or the extent of all it's abilities! You must master your shikai for bankai to present itself to you... case in point(s), all the shinigami we have seen with bankai have NEVER once been shown to gain a new shikai ability or tech cause they have ALL already mastered their shikai. Now mastering bankai is a whole other matter. Wannabiteme said: Zero Squad don't defy rules. After all, they have created lots of stuffs in bleach verse. They create "rules". Shinigami learns stuffs, but from who? They learn it from other shinigamis. Does their knowledge comes from source (aka creator(s) - Zero squad, God[not Yucha bach] )? I guess 99% stuffs they have discovered on they own not from source. They don't know almost nothing about Zero squad place nor about Zero squad. It may be "bankai for all" and they may not achieve that by hard training but by "science". Sudden "bankai for all" is not so good and interesting, but they are "reasonable" as for Bleachverse. You may like it or not. well, i got nothing more to say here.... seems you actually like all this deus ex BS that kubo has come up with in regards to the RG seeing he's too lazy to fcking stick to a coherent universe.... w/e... Kubo's plan to give the more popular characters bankai for no reason other than moar sales seems to be working well seeing u all fangasm so hard over this shit while hiding behind the: "RG CAN DO IT ALLLLL" -_- Wannabitem said: Well, if you don't find logic in Bleach, why don't you just read wiki or some similar website? ....you do know the Bleach wiki gets all it's info from the fcking manga.... don't get what you're trying to say here :/ If there is any logic to find in the wiki, it's gonna have to come from the manga. lul, a quote from Einstein.... just wow dude... ~_~ I'd give you a gold star but I've seemed to have misplaced it :< WannabitemSure said: In Zero squad's place (was it royal palace? ) they won't learn ALL stuffs. They will learn only the most important stuffs. The amount of knowledge Shinigami (Rukia, Ichigo, Byakuya ... and that was all I guess) got was just very small and very well explained. WELL, real glad that you know everything that happened with the RG and rukia and all that stuffssss seeing as Kubo has yet to show anything to the rest of us.... I can really only come up with theories based of the knowledge and rules we have from the manga (and it ALL points to deus ex BS) as opposed to your HARD facts. Maybe share what else you know? OR WAIT, how about sharing Kubo's number!? o: The endless amount of whining you're doing right now is almost sicking. If you hate the manga that much maybe you should stop reading it? Because week after week I see you bitching about everything, although I'm sure next week you will cry about something else as well. |

voidox said: Rukia got her bankai thru nothing but plotkai and BS shortcuts that can make no sense at all except foooor: OVER 9000 deus ex powerups!! Well, this is actually my main complain about this entire arc. This one or two years time skip happend and suddenly everyone's power-level is completely off the charts. I didn't even realize I completely brushed this 10-year rule to achieve bankai away, because Bankai seems to be the standart by now anyway. I mean, many non-captains have achieved Bankai: Renji, Ikkaku, Yumichika, Sasakibe, most of the Vaizard, now Rukia and of course Ichigo. Bankai is not an exception that is reserved for captain level shinigami anymore, it's standart procedure, because the overall power level in Bleach has become rediculously high. The thing that really bugs me is: Soul Society has existed a very, very long time, Rukia herself said she's several hundred years old and in all this time, it was never necessary or it has never occured to someone to train for a short one or two years and become strong enough to deal with potentially high leveled danger. I mean, the sheer fact that the power levels rose this high in such a short amount of time, leaves me in disbelieve Shimigami even bothered seriously training before. If we compare the power-level of the captains, the strongest Shinigami there are, from the beginning of the manga to now, just mere 3 years later, the jump in strenght is unbelievable. I know I'm trying to make sense out of a power shounen manga, but I just can't believe how fast and easily Shinigami have sudenly become stronger, when centuries have passed where apparently such a power-level was completely unecessary and nobody bothered training themselves to their full potential. And we're talking about the same people that were in charge centuries ago, because Shinigami age that slow. It's not like we have a more selected pool of stronger athletes now, no, these are the same people. Considering these people are essentially soldiers and it's their job to protect and fight, not maxing out their possibilities as far as they can go, is stupid. Aside from all that, the one thing that really botherd me this chapter was Byakuya. Rukia has a Bankai now, so she should be able to handle this situation very well on her own, or not? However, Kubo needed to show off Byakuya and this freakish strenght, only to pass the baton back to Rukia, so she can finish that guy off with her newly optianed Bankai now? Byakuya was completely unecessary, his interference only makes Rukia look artificially weak, because even though she is capable of doing it herself, she still needs to rely on nii-sama and this is bad for her character, because even though she has always been portrayed as showing great respect towards Byakuya, before everything else, she's supposed to be a strong female lead, which has effectively now gone down the gutter. |

There has to be a reason why people dislike it so much more now and the reason is, Bleach went from a pretty good shounen manga to... THIS. The storytelling is terrible, every arc follows exactly the same forseeable formular, the power-levels are rediculous, the story is full of plot-holes (therefore all these logic-arguments) and this manga has established way too many pseudo-main characters who all receive too much attention effectively stealing the spot light from the main character who needs to stand out even MORE to be able to be recognizable as the main character. And these are just some of the most prominent problems Bleach suffers from. The world in Bleach used to follow certain rules, but these rules are overwritten or just ignored all the time to the point that you sometimes begin to wonder if the author himself did that on purpose, or just forgot what he had established a few years ago. The most interesting part of Bleach in the past year was the backstory of Isshin, Ishida and Masaki, because in those chapters we saw progression and were given legit answers and useful information. This little piece of backstory is more interesting than the current events taking place in the manga. This is alarmingly sad. Yes, people complain about the fights. And here's the reason: jump in power and all the strong Shinigmai are suddenly way too weak and get slain one after another. Boring! Two chapter and a bit of training later - every remotely popular or somehwat important character, and Bleach has way too many of those, is now freakishly strong and needs weeks after weeks to lay out his newly established powers. This is also boring. It doesn't help the overall storytelling has slowed down a lot and these fights could have been over much faster, if the storytelling wouldn't be this painfully slow. Hence, people complain the fights are too long, because week after week barely anything happens in the ongoing fights. I remember in Hueco Mudno when Kenpachi was fighting there was one chapter where one strike was made and the rest of the entire chapter was just talking. I don't want to see them talk for hours, I want to see them fight. And don't let me begin about the characters and their personalities and character development, or characters that were formlery main cast and have now completely vanished, because they're essentially entirely useless now. I personally think many former fans may be just very disappointed by Bleach. They don't read this manga to hate it, they read it, because they formerly liked it and may hope this manga will at least end on a high note. They want to see how it ends, but the road to this end is just so painfully disappointing. I like to end what I started, that's the reason why I still read it and I usually just try to ignore the bad chapters, therefore most of them, but reading the chapter discussions is a bad idea in my case, I admit that. |

| Alright guys... i may have come off seemingly harsh on Rukia's bankai itself.... look, I don't actually hate the fact Rukia got a ban kai (ok maybe slightly), and I don't actually hate Rukia. But in the end, she was always gonna get a bankai seeing as she's a main character due for a real heavy powerup, and hey, with Kubo's art her bankai has real strong potential to looking cool ne :] But my real issues were on the when and how of her getting bankai and what really gets to me is like what kennikitty mentioned: Bleach used to be such a great manga that had a really interesting sense to it's verse with all the villain powers, hero powerups, ranks, mystery powers and all that. I just find that the current state of the Bleach verse has really REALLY fallen low with how Kubo has taken things and tbh, it's just real.... shitty... :/ |

| Once agin, couldn't interpret the last page at all. Was that an attack or simply a transformation? Hoping for the latter. Seems appropriate that one of the most disgusting enemies in Bleach would get killed by one of the cutest heroes in Bleach, with an attack that consists of fluffy snow...... |

| Fan-service level: OVER 9.000. The Kuchiki bros are my favourite characters in Bleach... So I really enjoyed this fan-service. 4/5 (or 5/5 for the fanservice) |

| Byakuya spread his senbonzakura around the place so the fear no longer works and rukia's fear is gone since her brother acknowledged her, that was her anxiety that led to the fear. When you face a fear head on once the next time it won't be that fearful or you get over it. Rukia's bankai translates roughly into Bleached Reproach :) |

| Soo..... no one's gonna bother that Byakuya literally left Nodt to Rukia just to finish him off? *Sigh* If she could use a Bankai, she really should've used it earlier (also, hopefully, more proof on my theory that Hyourinmaru is, in fact, weaker than Sode no Shirayuki) and remind me, when did Byakuya get back his Bankai? I was under the impression that they were stolen and not returned to their original masters. All in all, a generous 3/5. Only good thing about the chapter was Rukia achieving a Bankai, as amusing as it twisted Kubo's own rules (the 10-year training to manifest the Spirit rule). |

| Holy crap Kubo can we please move on from these fodder ass villains. If Rukia had bankai why didn't she just use from the start. why has her and Renji's fighst been so long when they have literally had the power to one shot these villains the whole time. it's not exciting, it's not entertaining, these villainos have had no screen time, no character development they are just here to die at the hands of our heroes so get them over with quick. Byakuya's recognition talk with Rukai would have much more importance if he had done it after she had sucecfully killed the villain on her own not after having him save her, it completely diminishes it. how much longer can he drag out this terrible pacing. |

| Lol f* Kubo for the trollin ;o Still I'm pleased Byakuya didn't interfere but just served as guide of sorts. Guess he'll have a stronger opponent to face off against later. Really never thought Rukia would be given a Bankai tbph but wooo! So haps right now, finally she can shine :) Can't wait for next the chapter, dying to know what the Bankai will look like ;o |

| Was a little annoyed at how Rukia just goes, "Okay" after Byakuya tells her there is nothing to fear. Like really? She gets approval and basically got a power-up out of it. Then she used Bankai. |

| I've been predicting since the previous chapters that Rukia might have a Bankai and she did. She finally achieved it. Too bad TK had to end it with that. I expected Byakuya to come and defeat the person while Rukia just stood their admiring him, but it's cool that Rukia is fighting. Plus like she said it's nice he'snow recognizing her strength. Awesome chapter, can't wait to see her Bankai. |

| Well, this was pointless. If Byakuya had died, it would have some sort of impact. As it is, fear guy went from rather interesting villain to jobber in record time. |

| Fuck. Did I grow to old to like bleach. Rukia has bankai and I don't give a fuck. Bleach sucks. The goddam fullbringer arc had me more interested then this crap. |

| Whoa, Rukia now has a Bankai! Amazing! I'm interested in the form of the bankai of the "most beautiful zanpakuto" ^^ and, FINALLY, Rukia ended her losing streak :P |

To all the people questioning why Rukia didn't start off with Bankai, As Nodt no longer had Byakuya's bankai so as long as he wasn't in Vollständig he was free to steal Rukia's bankai. Going Vollständig nullified his ability to steal her bankai. That's why Renji waited until after Mask went Vollständig to go Bankai. |

| Ans this is wht Bleach is the biggest of the "Big 3" -In Naruto, Kishimoto doesnt know how to kill Madara... Yet -In One Piece Oda does... the only think OP is worth for (Several unimportant characters introduced for a long time, batle pairings, strawhats wins, new island, and go a new arc). -Tite sensei seems to be the only one who knows where his story is going. |
