I've been watching anime since i was young, though i wasnt hooked that much.
I started getting hooked in anime when i watched Hunter x Hunter, i was 7 years old and i was fascinated by it, esp by Nen xD

I realy enjoy watching. unfortunately though, a few years later my family moved in a country where internet content is limited (some sites were blocked) and so my anime resource is low, i mostly watched downloaded anime in DVD a friend of mine gave as a gift.

I am however very active in reading manga (i was reading in onemanga back then, too bad its closed :S), so this kept my anime/manga passion burning :P

After a few years, i'm in a different country with liberated internet, and so i was able to watch more anime, old and new. Now i'm able to watch the ongoing anime, though i also enjoy browsing some of the old ones ;)

I am NOT an active MAL user. I rarely visit the site to update my list, usually once in a quarter. This database is just amazing, and so its community, that i find myself consuming a LOT of time in it. When i first joined MAL I even had a hard time keeping up with the anime i'm watching :D

I rate anime on how i see it, without comparing it to others as possible.
I DONT judge an anime based on whether it is "cliche" or not, but on how i am entertained by the show. So even if the plotline is so common, as long as its amazing, i'm fine with it.
Mainstream or not, I don't care. I watch BEFORE I judge.
I am very much interested in stories, so i rate substanceless anime/plotless anime low (ex: Fan Service anime). I wont deny that i enjoy some though :P
I'm a very active reader, so usually I cant help compare the anime to its corresponding manga. Most of the time i base my rating on how good the anime was able to unfold the story of its manga/Light Novel Counterpart.

I have my personal tastes and preferences, and i think that goes for everyone ;)

And I am very grateful for this website and community for allowing me to track my anime/manga progress easily :D kudos to admin and all the ppl managing this website, its amazing!
