| Solid first episode, really like some of the characters. Though the transition from schools was so spontaneous and it happened with ease and conflicts. The voice acting was pretty dam good, maybe not so much for Uchida, but still. Enjoyed some of the cameos and easter eggs. |

We will see what happens after the half way mark. People didn't like steins gate at first due to how slow the first few eps , we all know how they turned out. |
| Lelouch, is that you? This series reminds me more of Inou-Battle except these kids have actual powers. Hope it gets more interesting because right now, I'm not too impressed. |

| What I gathered after watching this first ep: MC is an asshole who abuses his powers to gain intelligence and popularity, in realty he actually has nothing going for him aside from maybe looks. All of the other characters are assholes for butting in on something that is absolutely none of their business and somehow forcing MC into it. - He was forced to take a test - He was forced to transfer - He was forced to join the student council - He was forced to move - He was forced to be put under surveillances and be prohibited from going places on his own Like what the fuck? How can you honestly get away with that? If I was the MC I'd just say fuck you and fail out of the school. They forced you there, so what the fuck are they going to do if you don't listen to them? They actually never explicitly stated what his consequences would be for telling people, or running off etc. I also don't see what they could do if he like, never went to class/didn't do homework/just left tests completely blank/say he's going to help the student council then just slack off etc. What are they going to do, kick him out of the school that's basically his prison? lol I honestly think this would be a way more interesting show if he fought back rather than just bend over backwards and agree to everything they say. Also didn't expect that girl he "saved" to go full ice bitch on him. That seemed out of character. |

They might have done that to stop him from trying to MURDER people and getting away with it, since pretty much no one else besides the people in the other school would have been able to identify him as the culprit. The consequences for him running away or telling other people about the powers are that he and his sister become homeless with no one to support them (since his douchebag uncle already agreed to his school transfer). If he were to try and run away or use his ability against the other two in that situation, he would have gotten destroyed by their powers, it's not like they went easy on him from the beginning. However, I would have liked to see him think about his possibilities for a second before being forced to accept their offer. Also didn't expect that girl he "saved" to go full ice bitch on him. That seemed out of character. He made her wait after school, and then he pretty much slammed her on the ground before running away. After that, he showed up saying that he couldn't tell her anything about what happened before and that he wouldn't have been able to go see her, so she should have come to him every time (keep in mind that they weren't even officially dating yet). How did you expect her to react? |

| The MC sure is a smug asshole, albeit an entertaining one. Was funny to see him laugh maniacally in the middle of class, only to realize what he was doing directly afterwards. He got his comeuppance throughout the rest of the episode over and over again, so there's that. I'll probably continue to watch. The first episode of Charlotte didn't bore me to death. And that's good, considering 80% of the other shows this season did. |

The MC being an ass? That's amazing! That was a absolute blast to watch till the other characters came and spoiled his fun. Seriously, I really want a series to just go all-out and show us how far people can go with their powers, and how creative they can get, when left unchecked ala Death Note and Code Geass in a more everyday-life setting with more everyday-life problems. Possessing girls’ bodies? Brilliant! Cheating on tests? Ingenious! KamiCity said: LMAO at the not a "darkish mood" = bad implications that you're throwing out there... Hahahaha Love the characters too, the MC gave a Kanie vibe!! but the main girl...-____- she just had to have Iroha's slutty voice.. but oh well, she gave off a shinoa vibe, and it looks like she's a cool heroine ;D |

| Enjoyed this episode. So they have powers but each has a limit. I'm kind of guessing that the guy Yuu had a dream about is their brother (or friend?) and had a power too but died due to it. Or just me guessing wrongly. |

Now expect the MC being pulled into the new school, with comedy, meet new characters, befriends, then drama shit happens and then we have Angel Beats 2.0 But, this is just the 1st episode. Key + P.A Works may go in an entire different direction or make another season to AT LEAST properly tell the story and develops it characters, but hey, this is Key PLUS P.A Works we're talking about, so don't expect too much. Really wish KyoAni went back to work with Key. Also, the MC could've been smarter and could've totally avoided situation IF he didn't get a perfect on all his scores lol. 90-95% would be enough to get what he wants. |

| Ok, main character is opportunist arrogant annoying prick that endangers people's lifes just because he can and I hate that type of character. When he was dumped by his crush I laughed and thought "serves him right". Just now I really don't know how I can get myself to like this series if I have to watch someone like him. Other than that his sister totally stole the show by her cheerfullness (complete opposite of him). There were several intering things in between, like How Low Hello stage girl that's poised to show soon and mysterious man who was taken out of their lifes. I bet they are both special, he and his sister, and that divorce was staged. Maybe those were only fake parents to help them grow who knows. And you know, this is Maeda, I wonder if he uses his second world trope even in this anime. By the way, what's in the name, why Charlotte? I hope we'll get the answer soon. Found the answer by Lollo36 few post before. And the answer for question what happens when MC tries to shift into people with those powers. |

| To tell the truth, the only reason why I started watching Charlotte is because it's Jun Maeda's work and I've got to say, I sure as hell am not disappointed. I really enjoyed the first episode. I only watched Angel Beats! and Clannad but from these two anime I feel that Jun Maeda's works tend to be funny and sad at the same time and while some people dislike this aspect, I absolutely love it. Charlotte is no exception. Charlotte's first episode was absolutely hilarious. And I love Yu's personality. He's going to make a really interesting MC. I'm a little tired of seeing the stereotypical hero type so watching Yu is going to be fun. There rest of the cast is awesome too. And this anime gives me something I've always wanted to watch but is hard to find; a normal but touching brother sister relationship. You have no idea how happy it makes me that Yu doesn't have a sister complex. That means I don't have to worry about incest (hopefully Ayumi is not in love with her brother) and Yu's love for his sister will be just that; sibling love. I suppose Tomori and Yu are going to end up together. They'd make a really interesting couple. I hope we get to see that. Also, I get the feeling that Yusa Nishimori (the singer) might end up being a student in Hoshinoumi Academy. And Ayumi’s like Fuko was whenever anyone mentioned starfish. Never thought I’d see a character like that again… Looking forward to the next episode. |

You can bet that if were Key + KyoAni in place of Key + P.A Works, the working together in Charlotte, us we would have a lot of fanservices, fujoshibaits and yuribaits unnecessary, between Yusa x Nao e Yuu x Takajou, because this is the way that KyoAni currently, works in its animes. I meant the old KyoAni, before they went full fanservice route. EDIT: and plz, KyoAni 2015 is actually getting better now, aside from the typical fanservices and yuribait, Hibike! Euphonium was pretty good. They don't rewrite and change the story significantly anymore (Kyoukai no Kanata cough cough). I don't mind fanservice as long as it gets the story done well |
