| Loved it! Shirley's death was forseen since season 1 so no big surprise, in fact I'm happy that she's finally left the picture because she annoyed the hell out of me. Orange's secret wasn't something I expected. That poor guy has gone through so much and I'm glad he's on Zero's side now, especially because he has a pretty good Geass. |

I absolutely hate Rolo now, I know there was a reasoning behind it but killing Lelouch's girlfriend?! That was fucking cruel. But seriously that was an amazing episode. 5/5 |

| Lelouch gets ANOTHER person to join him. Guy sure is good at recruiting people. Also, Shirley dies, big deal. She was a useless character that did nothing but stand there to be another love intrest for Lelouch. |

| The episode just gave all sorts of foreshadowing that Shirley was going to die. I sort of expected it but it was still sad :'( What I wasn't expecting though was Orange joining Lelouch's side. That is probably one of the few "plot twists" in this show I 100% wasn't expecting. Code Geass is starting to pick up for me again which is awesome :D |

| OH MY GOOOODNEEESSS omg omg omg omg When Lelouch screamed at the end I LITERALLY SCREAMED WITH HIM. I FELT HIS PAIN SO HARD. Bosch is a GOAT voice actor. Someone give him an award for his role here. Oh goodness. I can't believe this. Not Shirley. NOT SHIRLEY. SHE WAS MY FAVORITE AFTER LULU. SHE GOT MORE DEVELOPMENT THAN EVERY CHAR BESIDES LULU COMBINED. URRGHHHHHHHHHHHHH I WAS JUST STARTING TO REALLY LIKE ROLO TOO THAT LITTLE FUCKER Totally awesome Jeremiah joined though. I was so excited too before Rolo FUCKING RUINED IT. URGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH  lol'd at Kallen's low intelligence and Tamaki's data in general though. This episode was just a roller-coaster of emotions, just like I expect Code Geass to be. Easily makes up for the weaker last few episodes. EASILY. |

| The episode of ridiculous 180° turns in personality. Shirley literally goes from jumping to her death to avoid Lelouch, to complete submission to him, in 1 short scene. Then Jeremiah, after finding the one who ruined his life and basically killed him, swears loyalty to him because of a link to Lulu's mother that was taken directly from the writer's ass. 10/10 I cry everytime. |

So many things gone wrong, but typical of the inherent unpredictable nature of human beings. If Jeremiah didn't attack that day, if Suzaku didn't leave Shirley, if Rolo wasn't such an insecure sociopath, if Shirley didn't love Lelouch, if Shirley didn't grab a gun, uggggggggggh. Plot device everywhere, sure, but dayum, too based to hate. lol |

| In many ways this ep was more unbearable than R1 ep22. Shirley avoided her Death flag in R1 so I thought she was in the clear... Lulu definitely has a unwavering will, if I lost my mom, Nunnally, Euphy and Shirley, I would have folded and gone with Charles' master plan. Not going to lie. |

| What's up with the emotional evolution of Lelouch ? He used to think friendly of Shirley and would have no real emotion unless it's for Nun', and suddendly he goes all awkward and does the love confession in last epsiode, and then act all crying and such... The character was not introduced like that. It feels like they went "Oh wait the Shirley death is only 2 episodes away, let's transform Lelouch iand have random OOC events happening so we can make a dramatic scene". |
