I can't lie that this wasn't frustrating. I am usually a Takemitchy apologist but he literally didn't move most of the episode, EVEN THOUGH HE KNOWS WHAT'S ABOUT TO HAPPEN. Nobody even tried to help with Baji's injury. It's the small things that could make the scenes much better. Also, what exactly changed the outcome this time, since Takentmoveichi didn't do anything?

Mikey breaking the sound barrier and oneshotting Hanma was funny asf and so satisfying lol.
Moments before disaster:

RIP Baji, you fucking badass. I don't think killing yourself was the best idea, but alright, I guess. Went out with a smile. :(

Baji going out like a samurai. His love and dedication to the Toman OGs is unmatched. Sad.

Mikey is so badass, I laughed so hard at him taking out Hanma in a second and then all of Valhalla just running off.

Can someone explain to me the whole amulet thing at the end please? How did it connect to Baji?
To answer your question, That Amulet/Charm is the one which has a picture of the founding Toman members or its just a charm that they all had with them (Havent read the manga so I'm guessing here). Mikey was surprised that Baji kept the charm because he thought Baji became rebellious and probably doesnt care about the gang anymore. When in actuality he always kept that charm with him (That charm probably belongs to Baji).

Easily the saddest episode so far with a few of the confusing points from last episode being explained and I do think that Baji will stay dead and takemichi won't go back in time to try and save him simply because the episode ended in Baji being a sacrifice but because of that everything else was solved and we will most likely move onto the next arc after this

Lol are you mentally stable mate?

There is literally nothing that takemichi could do at this point, he ain't no messiah that can save anyone, he's clearly limited in the amount of stuff he can do.

Also this complete episode was solely focused on baji, only tiny bits towards the end were from takemichi side of view, everything else was focused on baji and his ordeal of saving everyone at the cost of his own life.

That was my point, the sequence of events was clearly awkward, everything happens for no real reasons except the author's will.
You can't make characters act like this, one committing suicide for his friends without actually developing their relationship or it will feel rushed and cringe. The previous episodes were so sloppy, not to mention the animation.

Takemichi is not left out, he is just a spectator of the scene because he does not want to do anything. He absolutely knows the sequence of events, yet he does not anticipate anything and does not act accordingly. The author describes a character with an IQ of 80, just above mental disability. How can you handle that? Then takemichi ends up crying because things did not change, It's just ridiculous.
cmon bro you acting like you could do something more at this point even draken couldnt stop mikey what would takemitchy would like he tried and failed its not that easy

I found it very emotional, especially with Baji saying his last word etc, although I have had quite a bit to drink while watching it, I was shouting at Takemichi (wrong spelling probably) to get involved d when Mikey was pounding punches into Kazutora

This anime manages to get worse every episode, I was laughing the whole time while Baiji was dying, the direction for this anime is weak, even the most powerful of scenes look emotionless.
Also I know everyone defends him but Takemichi doesn't even TRY do anything he just cries all the time, and when he tries to do something it's always through the power of being the MC and it's just so cringy.

I replayed Mikey kicking the shit out of Hanma like 10 times lol. Bruh Mitsuya told someone to call the ambulance a little over a minute into the episode then the ambulance never showed up, just take your time lmao.

RIP Baji, dude stayed loyal to Toman until the end and literally gave his life to hopefully prevent things from getting worse.

The fact that the whole of Valhalla runs away means that the whole of Toman has nothing to do while Mickey beats Kazutora, so anybody, in particular Takemichi, could try stopping him instead of crying/standing still.

A simple tackle on him during the ground and pound would maybe give Draken the slap into reality needed to stop a murder but no, let's pretende there is nothing to do.
Judging by the second part this might still not be enough (again becasue all the other 50people that were so traumatized by Pah killing now are fine with it) but at least try.

Nah, better end it with the crying no jitsu with a pinch of dumb luck proving again that our MC can't do anything out of struggle but only hope in planets aligning in his favour

I guess everybody in Valhalla knows about Kisaki, if not the whole "Baji is a traitor" is bullshit given that he, a member of Valhalla, attacked Kisaki, a member of Toman.
But we know that Baji doens't know given that his only proof against Kisaki is the fact that he saw him deal with Mickey (which isn't even a proof of him being evil) so at the end this doens't make sense

Last but not least WTF Baji? Why did you suicide

Probably the best episode this arc, yet it’s still littered with problems of its own.

Like how only one thing can happen at a time during these episodes despite it being such a fast-paced setting. For example, Baji comes down, stabs himself, does his whole dying speech, everyone cries, and apparently Mikey and Kazutora are just staring at each ogher doing nothing the entire time. They can’t even hear what he is saying, they are just doing nothing while Baji has his moment so we can have that additional layer of conflict since Baji didn’t tell Mikey or any of the other leaders about his Kisaki suspicions or that he doesn’t want them to fight.

Realistically, why the hell didn’t any of the founding members even go to him while he was dying? I guess they just wanted to stand there and watch him die from afar??? Bad writing, that’s really why. Same with how Kazutora is still conscious after all those hits from Mikey. At least the animation was better this episode.

Baji best boy, mad respect for him for doing all this for his best friends. He treasured them so much, it's a shame he had to die so early, he deserved so much better T_T

I was kinda annoyed by how much time it took Takemichi to go over to Mikey to stop him from killing Kazutora, but I understand a lot was happening for him at the same time.

I wonder how Mikey is going to handle all this, it's been a lot for him with Kazutora, Baji's death, their fight with Valhalla. I just feel really sad for him ngl his rage was understandable.

The whole episode had a lot of plot Twist which is amazing.

Baji dying I was sad about his situation actually he hadn't betrayed Tokyo Manji Gang, Mikey's scenes angry at Baji's death Even Takemichi had to stop him.

Baji He came out with a G after those gang fights.

In all honesty, this episode wasn't that bad. Usually I'd have trouble wrapping my head around certain events, but most of what happened in this conclusion was reasonable enough. Although, I still think they could've done a lot more to avoid impeding the experience as a whole. Some examples off the top of my head would be:

1. Adding a few Toman members trying, and failing, to stop Mikey from beating up Kazutora (It would've added a hint of realism and properly conveyed just how impossible it was to get Mikey off of Kazutora)
2. Have Kazutora actively block against Mikey's onslaught of punches to justify how he was able to stay conscious and stand up afterwards.
3. Actually having the members of Toman surround Baji after his death, or just having them be more involved in general, rather than staying as static mannequins whose only purpose is to populate the backgrounds.
4. Deviating from the predictable OH-KO on Hanma in favor of a more substantial fight and convincing takedown. It just feels incredibly cheap to build him up as such a strong opponent only to have him taken down so easily.
5. Show at least some restraint/hesitation in Kazutora's actions when dealing with Baji. I just don't believe that Kazutora would be so willing to murder Baji after being given such flimsy evidence from Hanma convicting Baji of being a traitor (This would've conveyed just how tight their bond was, which would tie into the flashback shown while Kazutora was on the brink of death).

Regardless though, I still think they were able to deliver a decent conclusion (?) to the Bloody Halloween arc, and I can see why people were hyping this up now.

How the hell was Kazutora still conscious after that beating he took? Such BS, first it was Mikey managing to keep fighting after taking all those steel pipe blows, now it's Kazutora and the hundred punches to the face lol

Oh, but Hanman gets taken down with one kick though, so there's that rofl

And Baji stabbing himself was so stupid, like come on, was there really no other way?

It was absolutely hilarious how they tried to direct Baji's death and monologue as heart wrenching, NO, it was an unemotional sham of an episode, just like this whole shitty series.

This makes no sense. Why would Baji stab himself to save a complete asshole who kept on blaming everyone and everything other than himself even though it all his fault for murdering Mikey's brother. They could have just called an ambulance and saved Baji, even though Mitsuya asked someone to call but looks like no one actually did.

That's it. This show has reached a new low in terms of shit writing. Like... are you for real?

As expected, Takemichi didn't do shit AGAIN but of course plot-kun was there to cover for him. I mean, Baji had to literally resurrect to stop Mikey from murdering Kazutora because our MC was too busy crying AGAIN... and then everyone just goes full retarded so that Takemichi can reappear in scene as the voice of reason and make us believe he actually had any relevance in this shitshow of an arc. Ridiculous.

Not to mention I also can't stop laughing at Baji and his retarded idea of committing modern day seppuku as only available way to stop Mikey from killing Kazutora. Dude... at least tell Mikey that Kisaki is the real enemy here. Don't just repeat it to the only two guys who already knew it.

Last week pacing was kind of weird but really like the execution this week. What a chad Baji!

I was constantly wondering how the twist is going to be like when the author allows most of the scenarios to be played out like the future. takemitchy is definitely pivotal in providing logic to both Mikey and Kazutora towards the end.

Did you watch the episode? Baji was close friends with Kazutora and had promised him to always be with him no matter what, plus Mikey was going to become a murderer and ruin his life. He wanted to save both.

Have you watched the sort of psychopath Kazutora has turned into!? I don't see why Baji had to sacrifice his life to save such a monster who deserves to be locked up in jail for the rest of his life. And in the end it didn't stop Mikey anyways till Takemichi gave his stupid talk no jutsu.

Kazutora is not a psychopath. Psychopaths don't feel guilt, while Kazutora was trying to make Mikey kill him this whole episode because he felt guilty.

Baji's main trait is his loyalty and love for his friends, the founding members, no matter if they're good/bad people. Baji himself was not entirely a good guy either (remember he burned cars and punched people randomly?), and he participated in Mikey's brother's murder too, he was in no position to judge Kazutora.

Baji was going to die anyways and he knew it, so in his half-dead delirium he did what he thought best for Mikey and Kazutora.

BAJI ಥ﹏ಥ ಥ﹏ಥ ಥ﹏ಥ ಥ﹏ಥ ಥ﹏ಥ

Omg they adapted it great especially when Baji told Kazutora not to worry about it before killing himself & the scene where Takemichi looked up at the sky with the voiceover of Baji having told him that he leaves the rest of the guys up to him. That was so heavy.

My tears!!!!!! And when he spoke his last words to Chifuyu. He may not have said that Chifuyu was important to him like he did with the other guys, but that spoke volumes.

The grave scene is going to KILL ME ಥ﹏ಥಥ﹏ಥ

Man, ambulance service must be fucking shit around here. Wish we could've seen more of Baji, but it is what it is.

Saw Mikey decapitating Hanma from a mile away, damn. Takemitchy is very inefficient as always, but at least the future changed more or less. Baji killed himself instead of Kazutora killing him and Mikey probably won't end up killing Kazutora. Happy ending.
