Goddamn it! I'm so excited right now, and knowing this show and seeing Luffy's expression at the end, I have a feeling that he' gonna turn down Bartolomeo and the others.
I'll be seriously pissed off if that happens, because it was about time he gained an army on his side, since he's gonna be fighting Kaido and Big Mom.

By the look of the end of this episode it seems that Lucy Luffy is about to go the Edward Newgate route with Affiliations/Branch with others pirates... plus he also has close relationship with Royalties/Princesses from other countries that he saved. He is getting closer and closer to become a true legend around the One Piece universe…

This was the episode i Had been waiting for!!

Epic episode. Straw Hat Alliance!!

Best episode this year!

Oh man this episode was so intense with one of the biggest commitments in the history of one piece. The screentime around fujitora alone was enough to give 5/5 for this episode but then again it was even topped with that new leadership given to luffy.

We also come to know that fujitora has apparently blinded himself because of things he rather didn't have seen in his past. The part where he actually wishes to see how luffy looks like and where he smiles - that was very intense and nicely executed. In this regard I also have to praise the fact that the animation quality rises when important moments are displayed in one piece.

Fujitora has build such a sympathy toward Luffy, his expressions were so nice.

It seems like all the arguing about the Mugiwara crew's last member is pointless now.. Lmao thousands of people would serve under Luffy, epic.

One of the best episode in a good while.

its important to remember that its not as if the Strawhats have fought every battle on their own. I think Enies Lobby is a good representation of what this is (with them having a large amount of people to help them).

This actually makes me wonder if the previous allies will join as well, or at least comment.

Aside I found it interesting than the King Elizabello and his adviser were not there as well, since they all fought together... of course they're no pirates so they have no reason to run away, but not all the new guys in the fleet were pirates either.

This was such a touching episode regarding Luffy and Fujitora.
Fujitora is such a badass character, he's great.

Hearing that the people knew about Kyros and everything else all along aswell, so good :)

Lmao at the end, I feel like Luffy's just going to say no in the most calm way :D
It'll be cool, having THAT MANY representatives but everything they'll do will bite Luffy in the ass though.

Man, One Piece is such an unbelievably well written show. Fujitora has so many layers to himself and it was shown brilliantly in this episode, really loved the scene where he wished he could see what Luffy looks like.

The ending was excellent too, Luffy making some serious progress if he accepts.

Calling it now, the Straw Hats are gonna become the New Era's equivalent of the Whitebeard Pirates.
Luffy is actually getting his own fleet!!
I feel like I'm watching my child grow up :')
I'm also so glad because this means we'll probably see Cavendish, Bartolomeo, Sai/Baby 5 etc. again since they're gonna be part of the SH fleet.

The crew have got so many ties now though- the Red-hair pirates, Alabasta's royal family, the Kuja tribe, the Revolutionaries, Fishman Island (& Poseidon), the Heart Pirates, the whole of Dressrosa, and now their own grand fleet!

Tbh they'll probably need it now that they're swimming with the big fish...I was always wondering how the hell they were gonna get by in the New World with so few crew members. But that issue is largely bypassed if they have crap tons of alliances. still want a new crew member though

So Fujitora blinded himself to disconnect from the world- can't say I blame him lol Although I got a little bit emotional when he was wondering what Luffy looked like.

The misleading title has made me think Fujitora would act "ruthlessly". I don't even know why, somehow I still take into consideration those One Piece titles.

Luffy will probably say no. But he's going to need all the help he can get going up against Kaido. 5000+ allies is not bad for the future King of Pirates.

Loved this episode!!! Although the part where the people of dressrosa was running to the dock was poorly animated this episode was awesome!

I really like Fujitora, one of the few likeable characters in the Navy that could actually make it great!

The Yontamaria flagship looks cool as hell to... over 4k members... insanity

That Moment with Fujitora and Luffy! He respects luffy and that was cool and wholesome! And wow, Luffy is gonna have his own family fleet of allied pirates like Whitebeard! I really liked that idea im so happy the Strawhats are gonna establish that idea too. I guess next ep is it for this arc and boy Big Mom is innit for a ride.

Fujitora continued to pursue Luffy, covering the ground in the shadow of impending destruction, however, the people of Dressrosa knowingly came to his aid. I like that they wanted to save Luffy rather than it being pure luck, but they should be glad it was Fujitora they got in the way of. Fujitora, during this scene, saw the people running by as colors and shapes without distinct detail, it made me wonder if we were seeing how he understands the world. He stated that he purposefully blinded himself because he had seen things he didn’t want to see, as does it go with the notion of blind justice. Somewhat like how Luffy will judge people by their actions and character, Fujitora forces himself to do so. He senses their energy and sees them for what they are, not caring for appearances, however, just this once, Fujitora wishes he could see the great, stupidly honest man he just faced. With a warm smile, it was a proper send off. Fujitora and Luffy have one of the cutest relationships in One Piece, and with him nearly at the helm of the navy, I do believe we’re in for some changes to make the world a better place.

After that we got a pretty big moment, a fleet of 5,600 people want to fly their flags under Luffy’s name. As weird as it is to see Luffy take up the father/son dynamic that Whitebeard once held, it does strengthen him going forward. Pirates need alliances to live out here if they don’t fly under the emperor's flags and if he takes them up on this, he’ll definitely have many strong allies he can call on whenever he pleases. It’s crazy to think Luffy can gain such a family in one fell swoop! But, at the same time, it's no surprise, one of Luffy's defining traits has always been to inspire people to follow him.

It was heart-warming to see the people of Dressrosa followed Luffy down the connected water bridges out of gratitude to him so they can prevent Fujitora from launching his attack that would've meant certain death for anyone who ends up getting caught under all that rubble.

While what I mentioned above was a very touching moment, the part that really hit really hit me in the feels was Fujitora actually wanting to have his sight back so he could see what Luffy looked like. He's someone who took away his own sight out of disgust for the atrocities he had witnessed as a member of the Marines and seeing him regret his decision for this one moment really hit hard.

As unlikely as it'd be, I've been thinking about how things would've turned out if Akainu or the other Admirals were in Fujitora's place. They probably would've attacked the bridge anyway even if there were civilians in the way and use absolute justice as an excuse.

What an episode. Fujitora blinded himself. It would be interesting to see his story sometime. The people of Dressrosa always knew the truth about Scarlett, Kyros, and Rebecca as family, as well as knowing about the tontatas. And Luffy got 7 subdivisions. What a day to follow One Piece.
