The author wrote the work of fiction with a descriptive approach such as narration eg: Subaru felt that, his mind was that, without this and that he wouldn't be able to he thought yada yada The conversion of being simply words that describe to visual storytelling inevitably resulted in some loss of information. Particularly the story of Re:zero is quite complex as most fans have remarked and because of that I think they either should have 1 hour episodes or include a narrator to explain stuff that doesn't get explained as well as the novel. |

| Best girl Otto comes to save the day again. I can understand fans being upset when viewing this as a standalone season- especially compared to the vast worldbuilding season one gave us. But as a set up for another cour, I can't imagine much better. |

| Quite bad final episode, even if it was for Season 2's first part. The only interesting thing were Witches and Roswaal confessing that he hired the assassins to attack his mansion. And perhaps Otto and Patrasche scenes as well. ;p Season 2 Part 1 was for most of its episodes fine, although worse than Season 1, with many cons having roots in cut or skipped content from LN (at least I read some posts coming from LN's readers who pointed it out, especially after seeing how much scenes with Satella lacked a lot of details that were present in the LN). |

It's quite funny actually, Season 1's 2nd half adapted 6 volumes and cut so much things but people never noticed, however with Season 2 1st half only adapted half that which is 3 volumes but people complain a lot more. It's a shame that WF cut out important dialogue instead of cutting or shortening some unnecessary ones like for example they cut a lot in the 3rd Witch's Tea Party when they could've extended it by cutting some dialogue with the Roswaal conversation and it would've been far better, another example is episode 12 they could've made the 2nd trial longer to make it FAR more impactful and could've ended with the Rem scene and it would've been a great cliffhanger and just the whole 3rd Tea Party in Episode 13 and ending with Subaru and Satella leaving the Tea Party and Subaru proclaiming he will save her could've been a great ending for Part 1 at least for me. |

| Quite the cliffhanger if you ask me, not entirely sure why they decided to not make this 25/26 episodes and stick with the current 13 but in my honest opinion a 26 episode season fr this would fit a lot more. One thing that I noticed is that they really used every possible second for all the information they packed in these episodes which I can say was a whole lot as this season is pretty much a tsunami of information about both the overall plot and even further a lot of the key characters. I do must say that I liked the development but that some of the info got a bit too much and started to get boring at a point. That aside though I quite like this second season and really look forward to see what the third season will offer! |

| This season was thoroughly disappointing. The first season was great, but this was just Subaru in a forest whining and crying, episode after episode. I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone in this world actually likes Subaru, he is utterly detestable. |

| Suffaru. Roswal is obviously a Subaru x Ram shipper and that is the doom of the storyline. /s ...I don't think the Emilia fanboys even watch this series. Or maybe w/e happens if it's Emilia including if she murders Subaru it's approved whereas b/c Rem did that once or twice in a misunderstanding she's not the one they ship him with. Otto is best girl. Just don't let a Mirai Nikki/Evangelion situation happen to him. "It must be nice to be as clueless as you, Subaru," It's like Subaru lost his if X then Y skills along with being brought back to life. (Not as successful as the mare/Rapidash from Dororo.) Why do I keep watching reincarnation anime and predicting this series will go full Buddhist lol. We get so much angst from Subaru it's more like he caught the Idiot Ball and won't let it go. Hope to see some success b/c this is needlessly bleak despite the witches yelling at Subaru to shape up. (Inb4 nothing until herbivorism in Japan ends /s) |

First of all it's pretty clear you don't know what "harem" even means, and secondly only Echidna wanted to take advantage of Subaru the other Witches was not interested in him, they only helped Subaru in the end because of their ideologies and beliefs. |

| There's a lot of exposition and plot points that have to be dealt with in the next episodes. Overall still an enjoyable series though. Subaru was better here than he was last season albeit inconsistent at times, while Garfiel is very edgy and it feels like Roswall is trying hard to look cool. Subaru's interactions with the witches are the high points in this series. |

| BEST BOY OTTO LOL. Odd place to end the season but I guess it’s split cour so whatever I have SUCH mixed feelings on this season overall! Quality wise (art/sound) it is as good quality as the first. But I had issues with the pacing (last three episodes felt very rushed vs the beginning was very slow and full of info dumps). This is like if we ended the first season before Subaru figured out how to stop dying in the mansion xD tbh I also take a little issue with the character development, I can’t tell if we’re actually making any progress with Subaru. He seems to keep yo-yo-ing to me, whereas in the first season his progression was really easy to understand. I assume it will be addressed in the next season but I am unsatisfied with it currently I also am kinda wary of the weird harem that is developing: first it was rem, then Emilia seems to start reciprocating, then Beatrice threw herself at Subaru and I was like wtf?! and echidna/Satella. it’s not that big a deal but I was just surprised how the number of girls interested in Subaru multiplied over the course of like two episodes lmao and of course I have to mention the biggest mystery of this season: who is Satella/Emilia? I am even more convinced that they are linked/the same person, they even use the same voice actress. I like the theory that Satella is Emilia from the future, wonder if it will pan out see y’all in winter lolll |

| It took me a few episodes to really get into it (partly because I had forgotton some things from season 1) but once I was really into it, it was fantastic. Subaru is an amazing character, and I really feel for him. 8/10 |
| This series is really slow. I hope RBD gets more negative side-effects so that we as the viewers can feel that sense of urgency as well. Still enjoyable though. |
