Same for Rem from Re:Zero. She's devoted and loyal like a good dog to Subaru after clearing up a misunderstanding that led her to kill him a bunch of times in different timelines and that's cool (I guess?), but I just can't wrap my head around the ridiculous amount of love she gathered from the fanbase for being just that, a good girl in love with MC-kun and with some insecurities. At the risk of getting heat for saying this, I think her cute waifu-like design helped a lot.

I think she's a well written character, but if i ever met her in real life i can garantee you, we won't be friends. Same with Nanami Kiryuu from Shoujo Kakumei Utena.

Also Mishima from P5 as well. I know they're primarily developed in a game rather than the anime adaption but I have to admit that neither of them thrill me. I laugh whenever I think of Mishima getting spiked in the face with a volleyball, he's lowest tier P5 character for me beyond the villains I don't like lmao (I like what I consider to be the two best villains in the game way too much and rank them above mishima and makoto in my character tiers, I'm terrible, but they're way more interesting, the game trying to make makoto seem canon is laughable bc she's legit the one girl I don't want akira to be with and won't ever have him be with in a playthrough, Futaba, Haru, Tae or Chihaya all the fucking way pls. It's sad you can't ship Akira with Sae, Sae is the superior Niijima sister and must be acknowledged as such)


I don't think Bakugou is ugly but he's fucking mediocre looking and always, always angry, which makes him look way less aesthetically pleasing from a design standpoint. When it comes to looks I actually prefer the adult men in the series, couple of the villains, the teachers to the boys (so aizawa, all might, vlad king, dabi, twice when unmasked, endeavor is attractive since he's todos swole dad but you didn't hear that from me). Maybe it's because I'm "old" now, and therefore don't feel inclined to husbando high school boys, but I think Midoriya looks way too young to really see as "attractive" (unless we're counting the villain AU fanart ive seen of him where he's aged up), Iida isn't bad looking, definitely better looking than Bakugou, but I don't know, Kaminari, Kirishima, and Yuga, they're not bad looking either. Todoroki is probably best looking Class 1-A boy. Don't see why everyone overhypes Bakugou when he can't even make himself look anything but angry all the time. And is angry all the time.

Also on top of everything it's been years and I still think Izaya Orihara is one of the worst anime characters to ever exist. Namie insulting him and his ratty looking ass is a highlight. I barely have the desire to watch DRRR anymore because the fandom overhyped that gremlin and for some reason he appears wya too much. One of my favorite series and I fucking hate the guy. I also think Shizuo is mediocre and plays better off other characters and is a weak character by himself. Namie is weird but I find her endearing if you put aside her gross brocon tendency, she'll openly tell izaya off so I think that alone makes her stan worthy. Mikado was mediocre at best and got worse overtime- Kida and Anri deserved more screentime and dev than him. And I can't forget my other fav who I won't even speak of who was shorted in favor of Izaya and all the focus that went to that boring, boring, bORING BORE, instead of supporting characters who deserved better. Fucking hell Izaya of course humanity hates you, you yawn inducing slug.
