| I thought all japanese characters in anime had black hair, with the different colors being the shades of black, underlining the only difference in japanese hair IRL. Is Shirou supposed to be a real redhead, not a black haired japanese boy with ginger hue ? |

| Yawn, I'm gonna stop this series right here and rewatch fate/zero since its been a long time. I wanna see if it can make me continue this show. Also to see that was Saber this bland in fate/zero. Saber talks like a damn receptionist, I can't stand her talking, my eyebrows furrowed everytime she opens her god damn mouth. The script feels like its ripped out the visual novel without any cuts, ugh edit the unnecsessary stuff out, these boring characters need to talk less. In addition of the constant boring face shot jumpcuts or still conversation shots, characters barely moving and background characters not moving a budge, it feels like I'm watching a visual novel. The animation is still pretty, just wish they do more camera work and character animation. I'm just as exhausted as I was watching fate/zero S1. Maybe I need to be a fan of fate to like these characters, some I find obnoxious or sleep-inducing. I only like archer and Rin (sometimes). Well Shirou's improving. It's a pain watching this show, I don't think it will get better as it goes on no matter what shocking plot twist that's going to happen, so meh at least its better than the deen adaptation. ;( disappointed, wanted to like this. The first 9 episodes of F/Z are no better than the first 9 episodes of this show, but keep comparing a finished show to one 9 episodes in please. Episode 9 of F/Z is almost all talking, there is A LOT of talking in every episode except 1 or 2 in F/Z 9 episodes in. F-Z events 2-9 So you will go through S1 F/Z which you didn't like but give up on this show in 9 episodes when it does the same things as F/Z. Logical |

| I honestly find it really funny when people seem to imply that Fate Zero was an anime exclusively about action. It was not, in fact FSN UBW had at this point just as much action if not more than the first 9 episodes of Fate Zero. |

Most people would just say "ugh shirou exact same stupid idiot ginger from old show" and be done with that. If nothing else, do note that VN readers consider this part of the story the slowest part. Like Fate/Zero though, it'll seriously get heated up by second cour. |

Sakura just had to share her route with 4 other characters, and doesn't have a Takeuchi-like guardian. Saber is the poster girl of Type Moon (unless it's Neco-Arc, IDK.) And people like what characters they like. Directors can influence that for sure, but it's the people that decide what they like. All of the characters have their own endearing traits, and people will gravitate to different ones because they are attracted to different kinds of appeals. Which is why all these debates over the most important characters are nonsensical because we like different characters for different reasons. |

| "Issei take of your clothes" :) Episode were ok, with more of Shirou and Rin past and plans + Tsundere Rin everywhere Saber were also cute but not enough screen time for her :( Shinji again - i hate how he make it sound like Rider was totally useless servent when hes such a big loser...... oh and Kirai back to. |

| Another good episode, not much happened in terms of story but at least we saw some interesting scenes with Shirou and Tohsaka (and I would say this was maybe the first time when they did capture their feelings almost right). That Tohsaka's hypothetical question though... well. Also, it was nice to see some contrast when Saber asked Shirou about Kiritsugu and his childhood - although she was felt a bit oblivious to obvious in that situation it was another piece for making Shirou's motivations known. I can say I like Sakura the most (because, well, of her appeal ofc and because of things that happened to her during HF) but unilke many other VNs FSN is special for me as I can say I also like Saber and Rin during their respective routes. And after playing FHA I can say there isn't any FEMALE character I don't like in this franchise and that is only the proof of how well they are written. |
