| This was better than I thought it would be. The so-called hero is cracking even more under the weight of his own ego. The others see it, but refuse to acknowledge. If there's a S2, he'll be even crazier. |
| I really enjoyed this series, simple but full of cute characters, very good character design and animation, adventure with many funny moments (expecially the Kanade ones), the story is far from over with the real confrontation between Rein and the "hero", so I hope for a S2, if Arifureta will have a 3rd season, I don't see why Beast Tamer could not have a 2nd. A final thought to the guys that hate the genre and write negative reviews in the main page even after 1-2 eps out (or they even don't have watched it, and they pretend to have it) go and have a life, watch what you like and don't bother us with your criticism about animes with too repetitive themes... hello!? welcome to the anime world, some themes and tropes are standardized and this is one of the strong points of the industry in its cultural continuity. |

| I guess them dropping "this is just the prologue" is probably a hint that S2 will likely happen at some point. I know many people disliked this a lot but personally I am fine with decent MC collecting cute waifus. I also like the contrast with Arios regarding how big of a piece of shit he is, seeing him suffer is always a treat. lol |
| Felt this show was just as poor as the alchemyst one this season. Though I gotta give it that it was quite enjoyable in the fluff skits with a warming family cast type. Meh, I'll give it 6/10 just because. |

| This show was not exactly unique but I still enjoyed it. I did hope the Hero's party would see some sort of consequence for the demon ring business but oh well, I guess having the people finally speak their minds about them will do. Nina of course makes her contract with Rein and the ghost maid is a cute addition to the crew. I'll definitely watch a season 2 of this if it gets it. |
| And with that, Rein Shroud's harem grows even bigger and so is his strength and abilities, Yuusha party definitely didn't deserve to have Rein in their party, Arios getting hated by the townsfolk was a sight to see for sure |

| Hmmm, this episode felt out of place, like it should've been the episode 1 of a hypothetical season 2 rather than the finale. (And a sequel was definitely strongly implied with that last line.) Introducing a new character in the last episode just made it feel off. Also, they resorted to chibi animation a lot in this episode which became kind of irritating. Lol, Kanade looks more cursed than the ghost girl Gotta say it was satisfying to see the people starting to turn against the "hero" party. But damn, the hero's voice acting was rough. It's rare that I actually think the acting sounds bad in a Japanese dub. Baby Rein is cute Well, I enjoyed Beast Tamer in the beginning but it fell off around mid-season. Can't say I'll miss it but I guess I would watch a season 2 if it came out. And at some point I realized Tania was the only reason to keep watching. 6/10 |
| The biggest thing that kinda annoys me about Beast Tamer is the protagonist himself. His character is just so bland. There is nothing exciting about him character-wise. He is and becomes an even more overpowered Mr. Nice Guy. He doesn't do any mistakes, has everything under control, always finds the proper solution that deals with everything without any drawbacks whatsoever and his decisions don't backfire him at all. You could say his only weakness is his kindness. He's too nice as Mr. Nice Guy since he even helped out Arios with the quest to get that shield. lol The only thing that actually kept me watching this anime were the sidekicks aka his harem. If it weren't for Kanade, Tania, Sora & Runa (unfortunately we didn't get to see much of Nina and the ghost maid, but even they entertained me more in those few episodes than Rein during the whole season), I would've most likely dropped this anime mid-season. Luckily the girls brought some life into this anime with their refreshing character traits compared to Rein who basically became irrelevant to me even as the party leader. Another thing were the combat animations. They were a bit underwhelming. I don't remember a single fight that actually stood out to me. Maybe Tania's demonstration of power as she crushed and dominated the two mages of the hero party. But that's it and it wasn't really a fight anyway. Overall it's still a good anime to kill some time and I would most likely watch a 2nd season. Apart from the aforementioned things I liked the show. |

Love it when the townspeople finally get fed up by hero's party shenanigans while they just doing absolutely nothing and just abusing his title as a hero around the town. Way to go horizon's citizen! I also loved this episode can still be funny yet can show emotional side in the end when Rein started shed a tear when he remembering his past and realizing his new home where he should be. | Instant death protection? Rein is so OP now! No wonder the demon faction eliminated his tribe first. I like how the harem is done in this anime, there's also no single annoying girl until the end. I wonder if the hero will become the demon lord and Rein will be the hero later? Seems like the bald guy and priest girl is doubting their hero already. I hope there's 2nd season for this. |

Well if they have hot dogs then why not pizza too right? I thought that this was a decent anime with great character designs but the storyline did drag on a bit in the second half and it got a little repetitive. Also, I wish the hero party would've been confronted one last time and been humbled but maybe that will occur if they make a season 2. Overall I give this a 7/10. |

| As usual these kind of anime gives me the creeps. It's only purpose is to sing the MC how he's a saint and very kindhearted and yet the people doing bad things are never punished. No wonder this is being called one of the worst this season. |
