I just finished Sion's scenario of "Treasure of the Rudras" for the SNES. It was quite good, although the magic system is a bit confusing, as so many spells have names with the same prefixes and suffixes.

So far, I'll give it an 8/10, but I still have to complete Surlent and Riza's scenarios yet.

Tell Me Why Xbox One

Or life is strange 3 . I love the first one ofc I do! its about lesbians that kiss,,,YEEEEEEEEEEEES . But nevertheless the second installment may not have any lesbians at all sadly. But the story is still very good with great characters emotional moments and interesting twists

But this dont have any of it imo. The characters are unlikable the story is boring and tedious noting to love or get invested in .It have some moment but those die pretty quickly

I consider this to be the worse in the series I want more kissing lesbians in the future! Not this . And I give it 3.8/10

I didn't like several of the characters and ended up just mashing through a number of the social links despite it being my first time through. Combat was really unbalanced and was stupidly easy to cheese. Music as always was a 10/10 though. I'd liked the dungeon design for the era, and the story as a whole was decent enough.

Looking forward to P3 next.

I'm nearing the end of Wasteland 3. I give it a 9 out of 10 with the only flaws being the technical issues; bugs, crashing, etc.

If any of you enjoy isometric games, RPG's, or tactical strategy games like Xcom, then it is worth a purchase even at full price.

I just beat "Ys V" for the Super Famicom. I first played this game back around 2001 or 2002, but it hadn't been translated yet, so I didn't get very far through it at the time, so this is my first time beating it.

While it's not the best Ys game I've ever played, it was still a lot of fun, and it had a good ending, including a new rendition of "The Boy's Got Wings" at the end.

8/10

I agree. The bugs probably knocked it down to a solid 8 for me. When I dropped my custom created character that I started from the start and fine tuned my squad around to pick up Jodie Bell. Played around awhile and when I placed them back in my squad. The character had lost all their unique perks, skills, and attributes. In fact, they was level 27 with starter attributes and sitting at negative six for allocation. Luckily they still had all their equipment, which was late game.
The latest patch could not save me either. ;_;

The game also had a soundtrack that was better than it had any right to be.

You lost that much progress? That sucks. I mostly had to reload quick saves. I'm a save scum so I was luckily able to avoid some of those issues.

I agree on the soundtrack! There was this intense soundtrack when in Aspen going after Victory, forgot what that was called

Super Lucky's Tale Xbox One

I like the clean colorful graphics . The 2d levels are pretty good and the controls works well

But the camera angles are badly placed and you are not free to move the camera around .Which is a disaster on the 3d levels. Its a really easy game and all my death was caused because the camera was constantly fighting me! Its extremely irritating, some levels works better then others, but still this was the biggest problem I have with this game

Overall because it was so easy it never cause any rage quit . But I find the experience to be extremely mediocre. And therefor I give it 5/10

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim was a 6/10 for me. Looks gorgeous with a very interesting story structure and good voice acting but never managed to impress me beyond a few moments of, oh that was cool. Also the gameplay segments felt extremely disconnected from the story portion and just undermined the experience for me.

Resident Evil 0
Pro:
-The best looking pre-rendered backgrounds out of the classic games
-Train sequence was really damn good
-I enjoyed the parts where both characters were needed for a puzzle
-Experimented with new mechanics

Cons:
-Lack of item boxes makes item management really frustrating
-Enemies are frustrating and don't suit a game with tank control and auto aim
-The actual locations you're in after the Train aren't very interesting
-Partner AI is terrible
-Story is ridiculous even by RE standards

Rating: 7.5/10
I like how they experimented with gameplay changes but overall it was a frustrating experience that I would put at the bottom of the fixed camera RE totem pole. The thing that stuck out to the most was the sheer amount of time spent juggling basic items between yourself, the floor and your partner. And, the enemies in general. Enemies like the Eliminators, Plague Crawlers and the Bat boss feel like they were designed for a game with free aim in mind.

I finally completed all of "Treasure of The Rudras" for the Super Famicom, and it was a lot of fun. I wasn't too sure about the magic system in this game at first, but it grew on me over time. This was Square's last RPG on the SFC, and it's a shame that it never got released outside of Japan, so I'm really glad that someone translated it, as it's definitely one of the greats.

Super Lucky's Tale. The DLC on Xbox One

The problems are worsted in the DLC. All the previous problem the ordinary game had is still there .But they ramp up the difficulty. And with the bad camera horrible hit detection and other problems this is just frustrating as hell .If they fixed the problems this might have been something fun but they didn't

This is one of the worsted DLC I have ever played on Xbox live. Imo this a fucking joke and i give it 2/10

Graphics - brilliant, but the game differs a lot from the original. It's more like a reboot, not a remake. It was also kinda short. But it was still good. 6.5/10

Katana ZERO Xbox One

A samurai in a futuristic world fighting with a mere sword against firearms. One mistake one misstep and you will pay with your life .One hit and you are dead So you need to calculate before you spring into action. But get a checkpoint after each section so the challenge is still fair. Its addictive and make my adrenaline pump

It sadly was a bit short I wanted much more. And i really didn't like the time limit .It made a stressful situation even more stressful and imo it was unnecessary

Overall a fun little distraction that I enjoyed . I give it 7/10

I got my platinum trophy in ghost of tsushima I think 2 weeks ago.
It was an really nice game, nice pacing, nice ambient, didn't have so much fun with a new title in a long time

I would say 8/10 just bcs of a few bugs and some in game controls that got on my nerves.

Beginning of the week I got the platinum in Dragon Age Origins.
I knew this game before since I have played it long ago but it was really great to play it again. I love the story, the group you get together. And the music is just amazing.

9/10 for me. - 1 point bcs of some buggy bugs that could be game breaking (nothing u can not handle with proper saves here and there) but still <3

NieR: Automata (9.5/10):
-meticulously crafted story
-well developed and likeable characters
-enjoyable, refreshing and varying gameplay
-beautiful art and settings
-masterpiece/god-tier soundtrack

Minor complaint:
a few of the boss fights were the same/repetitive

Other then that, brilliant game, can't wait for Nier Replicant

Night in the Woods Xbox One

I love that it have a darker tone and great characters that are very memorable. The story is very intriguing and keep me interested throughout the whole ordeal. Its a small town with many secrets

But Its also a bit to heavy on the dialog from time to time. And I think it should have involve the player more .The game-play is very limited, and most of the time you just sit and read the dialog boxes. Great story is one thing but its suppose to be a video game, and I want to be more then just a bystander

Overall a good experience and I give it 7/10

Finished Pokemon Fire Red hack Radical Red. At its current version it's kinda lacking content since it removed the islands from the base game probs to work on that or some other form of post game, but hey, all pokemon up to current gen minus the Crown Tundra DLC is pretty damn commendable. Really liked using a fun gimmick in fights with Alolan Raichu, my favorite dude.

The way it was supposed to be a "more challenging hack" was pretty annoying tho. All gym leader, Elite Four and boss encounter pokemon were buffed to max ideal statlines with good coverage movesets which is tolerable later on in the game, but early in it feels like dogshit to fight against since there's a lack of decent pokemon to get and good moves.
Heck, even late game sometimes I had a stroke of luck with a crit, good rng on sleep moves and so on or I just wouldn't win even with smart plays. The hacker said the AI was smarter, but literally reading my inputs when I pick a move to respond with the best course of action for the CPU sometimes was annoying shit. That only happened with boss characters and only sometimes tho.

6-6.5/10 - Getting difficulty down right in an RPG is hard, man. But looking forward to coming back to the hack when it gets even more developed.

Jump King 7.5/10 is weirdly quite a therapeutic and satisfying game to play once you get into the swing of things and develop your pattern and muscle memory. By consistently making jumps which were seemingly impossibly for you to do before. Which is bizarre considering this game is meant to get you angry from it being so difficult.

Always favor Day of the Tentacle over this when I was a child. But as a adult I did enjoy this game much more then I ever have before

I love the funny dialog. And the voice actors are doing a tremendous work .No surprise there with stars like Mark Hamill doing some of the voices .I also like the dark toned apocalyptic themed art

Its a point and clicker so then control can be a bit stiff . But no bigger problems either

I have a lot of fun with this game and give it 7.7/10

A month ago, I posted on that one other gaming thread on here that I started playing a game called Night in the Woods.
It's kinda funny that someone else also talked about this game earlier in this thread, because I played this game on Xbox One too.

I haven't gone to playing (much less finishing) all that many games lately and I only got to playing this because a family member kept bugging me to get out of my slump and play something, and one day they suggested this game to me. The first things you'll notice about this game right away are its dialogue and aesthetic. The aesthetic is pretty nice, very easy on the eyes and very reminiscent of picture books for children. The game combines this with some quirkiness and a surprising amount of swearing (maybe it caught me off guard cuz of its aesthetic? or how not many console games seem to be okay with swearing anymore? but then again, wasn't this an indie game? look idk) and mature topics within its dialogue. The dialogue is both kinda realistic and kinda really weird, definitely seems a lot like the type of speech some people on the internet would say. Not complaining as there's some genuinely good writing here and there (there's even some funnies).
There is some light platforming throughout the game, but this game is mainly focused on its somewhat character-driven story. The game's story gets darker as it goes along, but it sure does take a while before anything interesting happens. Maybe it's because I didn't play it all through right away and only played whenever I actually felt like it, which is nowadays every now and then, but yeah it kinda felt like a slog playing until more of the crazy shit or sad character arc stuff happened. I don't mind slow pacing and I do like dark and sad elements, but for some reason, this game's execution of these things was just... okay. Definitely not terrible, but it felt... maybe lacking? Maybe I'm just weird. The music is also okay, I like the main theme for Possum Springs that plays in most of the game and "Die Anywhere Else" (though I suck at the rhythm mini-game).
Also I don't know if I like the fact that my family members who watched me play this kept finding similarities between myself and the main character lol

I guess I give the game a 6/10.
Maybe if I was someone who absolutely loves A Silent Voice or if I was a regular Tumblr user, it's possible that I could have liked this game as much as most others did. If you like that aforementioned movie and/or that site, then this is probably the game for you, because the game definitely gives off the vibe that might appeal towards people who love either of those things in my opinion.
Also, rest in peace Alec Holowka and Ico the cat.

Metroid Prime 3.

4/10 (utterly disappointing for a franchise that I consider the greatest)

Possibly the worst out of all Metroid's main entries. Despite being so flashy with highly stylized architecture, it is the most un-Metroid game and resembles more with Halo. I can already detect something wrong in MP2, that the cutscenes were just all over the place. Now MP3 is definitely the worst case scenario. Overly long, repetitive, info-dumped, tedious, unskippable cutscenes are so abundant (we all know Metroid is famous for having almost nonexistent cutscenes). The gameplay is also inferior to the previous games.
