| It was to great to see new member Sein get the spotlight and show us his capabilities as a "worthy" member of Frieren's party. I thoroughly enjoyed the soiree part in the second half, seeing our youngsters some time and space to grow... You can really see it in how Fern's expressions changed as they danced. And kudos to the team who put in that effort animating the actual social dance and movement as well, not just in the action scenes in other episodes. |

| An fast paced episode, in particular because the first half and second are different narrative threads. First part felt a bit dreadful and ominous (to the point I wanted a full episode of that), and then the party scene was lovely, words are not needed, seeing Fern having fun like that, the changes are small, but are there to let me ship it good~~ |

| Frieren made short work of that plant, noticing immediately what's going on, sasuga Frieren-sama. But that dance with Stark and Fern OMG... just marry already you two! |
| This was a truly special episode. This king lad who lost his son, i honestly feel very sad for him especially since him and his son left on bad terms. The king saying he never wanted to seem him again and the son passing away and him not meaning any word of it. Its truly heartbreaking. Stark being picked for the job of playing the role of the son at the the royal dance party thing was interesting. Both Stark and Fern having to learn etiquette training was cool to watch. I honestly liked seeing them both grow throughout there little training arc for the ball. All the while Frieren was eating donuts and reading. The ball was super amazing and both Fern and Stary looked amazing. The dance they shared was truly special with both of them doing there part and there relationship growing, it was an amazing moment. The moment Stark and the king shared at the end of the episode was nice. |

| I am under the impression that Frieren stays aside to allow Fern and Stark to build as many various experiences as possible and enjoy their time. The way Frieren appears makes many think that this is just her way, that she is laid-back. But I sincerely believe she cares about Fern and Stark. Frieren wants to help them grow and she is also aware of their shorter time. |

| ANOTHER EPISODE OF FERN X STARK??? WE ARE BEING FED. THE SHIP IS READY TO SAIL, GET ON BOARD Y'ALL. Before that, let's talk how useful a priest actually is, the fact that Sein was able to save not only his party, but also the whole village was iconic. Also, him trustin on Frieren's words was a nice touch, and the way Frieren ended the monster in like 2 seconds, 5 seconds were more than enough! This part was amazing, and when Stark and Fern were sleeping together, side by side, was so cute! And now, to the important part, THE BALLROOM SCENE WITH FERN AND STARK. IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL. I FEEL LIKE MY LIFE IS MORE COMPLETE NOW THAT I HAVE SEEN THAT. This whole section was really emotional too, because we saw the leader of the town seeing Stark as a reflection of his son, and Stark was seeing him as a reflecion of his father, but the father that he wanted to have, and would have supported him during his childhood, like the leader was doing to his younger son. And also how important was for the 2 of them to move on. Fern and Stark had a hard time though, learning all that ettiquette, but they needed the money. Sein and Frieren must have loved that stay though, Sein had a lot of fun, and Frieren had a lot of time to learn new spells and read grimoires. Fern X Stark was for sure the best part of the episode, alongside the last talk of the chief and Stark. I honestly loved how we got 2 episodes back to back to feed the Stark x Fern ship, and since I got to watch the 2 together, it makes it even better. Can't wait for the next episode! |
| The last 2 episodes have been so satisfying ship-wise :). All the while continuously adding depth to the party and their world. |
| Stark: "What's wrong with this village! Why is everyone asleep?" Me: "Because they saw you lot coming in and got so bored by your talking THEY ALL FELL ASLEEP!!!" Having managed to bore an entire village to sleep, they decide to talk about what the problem could be and ask Sein to find a cure or something. It ends up being a big giant flower thing that steals energy from people while they sleep- yea that's the most original thing they could think of. I haven't seen that done dozens of times before. As in previous engagements, the actual action lasts less than a minute. The big walking flower thing is defeated and everything is back to normal- as if the whole thing never happened. Making this entire episode feel meaningless Then they start walking, and talking......... |

First part, seemed it was full on 20 minutes, second part the same. Alot happened, yet, fit very well. Lovely episode, alot of lore building and character developement also. And im a sucker for ships. This one... Is gigantic. What nice relationships they are all forming. Specially the ship. |

| I'm not a guy for romance. That much is apparent. But there's something about Fern and Stark that I can't help but appreciate. Its sweet and it reminds me of Violet Evergarden and in general KyoAni. How their works make me feel warm and joyful. The great animation quality might be making me feel like that, but I feel more is at play. |

| Another great one! Glad, they had teir depraved preist with them or that would have been the end of them qhich is quite scary to think about. The second part of the episode was alrightish. Not too much going on or bonding. but it displays how much Stark ahs grown and that instead of being nervous teen, he can dish out life advice to men older than himself. Oh, and of course dancing in costumes as fan service. |

| This is the most yume farming show I've ever seen, which is shame because this episode actually had some of the best writing by far with very interesting parralels with Stark and this new Orden but the only thing people were, are and will focus is MUH SHIP IS DANCING LOOK AT MUH FERNSTARK SHIP I NEED TO DO FANARTS OF MY FAV SHIP UGUGUGUGU MY SHIP off yourself in a pit of lava. |
| It's funny that some people had, and still have, a hard time believing that Frieren is a Shounen. It's very obvious that it's a Shounen. The perverted guy trope, poorly developed romance, etc. Garrett_Dark said: Looks like they're really leaning into Fern x Stark now, with the amount of effort they put into the dance scene, seems like the ship is all but evitable. I actually would have liked to see Stark escorted by "mommy" instead, but I guess at least Fern doesn't seem to be abusing Stark anymore...so far. I don't get the appeal of Fern x Stark, even without the abuse now, there's no actual substance between them. Don't get mad at me for saying that, get mad at the show for no meaningful development between them onscreen. The dance didn't count as actual development, they're just going through the motions. Actual development is like the discussions Stark had with that noble lord. It's the same way how Fern learning noble educate in a montage isn't actual character development for her. Every Shounen has this, so just hop aboard the ship! 😂 It was obvious early on that they were canon, so let's just enjoy the ride. |
