| erwin wtf i haven't read the manga but i hope we manage to see the beast titan in the next episode |
| Erwin has gained more respect from me. Even though he had his arm eventually bitten off by a titan, it didn't stop him from heroically commanding his army to retrieve Eren. His moment where he swooped him in front of Berhtoldt and Eren was proper badass of him to do. =) As for Mikasa, her glaring facial expressions are ridiculously scary, but she did struggle to get Eren back and it looks likely that she broke some bones after getting caught in a titan's grip. Now a blast from the past has arrived. The same titan that killed Eren and Mikasa's mother turns up, with that same creepy smile on her face. I see Eren transforming into a titan himself to take down the smiley titan. Hopefully he'll bludgeon that piece of shit to bits, in order for him to avenge his mother's death. Looking forward to the finale next week. =) |

| I always forget the landscape of Aot. Am I correct if I say that they are all running towards the first wall which was attacked and where Eren's cellar is? So the Giant Forest of the first season was a different one from this season? |

| Great action, hype episode, even though now i know everything lol. But the fight scene was badass, and Erwin was so good here. Now i realize what a bland and dull Character Mikasa and Eren are. Especially Mikasa (removing her from any favorite list i had right now) Instead Reiner and Erwin are way better characters. Levi, Mikasa are so overrated just because they are strong and kill titans, but inside their characterization is absolutely bad. Anyway, this season will end in a point where i think is not appropriate. That smiling Titan is as useless as Mikasa. Except she (Mikasa) looks sexy with that design. Enjoyable episode. it's a shame its only 12 episodes after 4 years. |

| Okay this episode was just about the right mix in my mind... not just a single fight scene with no plot development, but actually a complete episode. First off: Did not... see... Erwin... coming. Also: Glad Armin finally paid attention to Bertholdt's weak spot Also: Woah, mom-eating titan. Also: Ymir and Historia plot continuing to thicken Way better than say, the rolling around on the ground "hey let's teach you something about Jiu Jitsu" of the Eren/Reiner action sequence. |

| Despite how much I like this episode, I think the scene where Erwin led the horde of titans into armored titan is more intense in manga simply because the survey corps were way closer to the titans in the manga than in the anime. The wide shot to show where everyone is placed just made the two groups seem way too separate from each other and the a little bit disorganized formation in Erwin's group due to the frightening chaos happening behind them is omitted. With smaller panels and much less space among titans, and in between titan horde and Erwin's group, the titan horde just feels much more huge and scarier in the manga. That further shows how much sacrifice Erwin is willing to make to get Eren back and save humanity as a whole (but of course that's not his only intention). That moment was such a key moment in the manga. Not only because it was a cliffhanger but also it shows Erwin can use any insane tactics to achieve his goals. That's a big character moment IMO. The second half of the episode is amazing but how the anime did that scene is kind of a lackluster, at least to me. Maybe first episode's still lingering in my memory and sets me up for unrealistic expectation. But what do I know. |

| Good episode, I have to say I was a bit more hyped for it. Didn't really reach my expectations I had for this one. Can't believe Erwin pulled a Shanks on us and lost an arm to an easy opponent lol Erwin and Hannes kinda have a deathflag for next episode though :o |

| I forgot how bad-ass Mikasa is. We haven't seen her really kick ass in a while. It was satisfying to watch her zoom through the air and kill everything in sight. Really good animation and camera work in this episode. Also, did anyone else laugh when the commander was yelling commands while his arm was being chewed off? It just seemed a little over the top to me. |

| Fucking Erwin. One arm removed by a Titan. Still doesn't stops him from freeing Eren.... WHILE STILL BEING WOUNDED!!!!! Levi? Who's that? Erwin is the real deal. The episode has a lot of unintentionally funny moments, like that talk between Ymir and Christa at the beginning (Christa: But in the outside world, Titans will eat me!", Ymir: Everyone has flaws!, I just can't), Bertolt shitting in his pants when Mikasa looks at him in the Armored Titan's defense, Armin's rape face... But was still cool. I didn't actually expected the Titan who killed Eren's mom to reappear. Cannot believe with one episode more this will end. |
